Erin scoffed, "I meant to do that!" he laughed though, knowing it was an utter lie.
"Hm? Oh, thanks. Sure, I'll walk you," he smiled, his heart making that little flip in his chest again.
He was elated that she trusted him, and wanted him to walk with her. He could tell she was still apprehensive and a little fearful of what might come crashing through at any moment. He held his arm for her just as he had before, "I've got your back."

The nurses gave chase after Chaoe, causing the girl to panic.
In a fit of fear she grabbed the closest object, that being a pillow from one of the beds, and threw it across the room.
She dashed towards the exit. "Why can't you all just leave me alone? I need to fight!"

Smiling back, she took the offered arm, and they slowly but surely made their way through the rubble and wreckage to her room, which still stood ajar. Inside the furniture was still a mess. She turned round in the doorway, "Thank you, again. For.. well, everything, I suppose." She smiled, and though it felt odd to just leave it at that, the idea of giving him a hug or something felt even weirder. In the end, it became a sort of awkward, "Goodnight," with a sort of start, before swivelling on her feet and retreating into her room, making sure to lock the door behind her.

((OH YEAH!? WELL TODD HABERKORN WAS AT SETSUCON LAST YEAR and I got his autograph on my DGM dvd ;u; I gave him a timucanpy that he apparently still has...and he still remembers me as "the Road that gave him a tim" according to friends who saw him at NYCC uguu))
