Uakai followed him up sighing quietly. it always stung slightly when she was reminded he'd rather be human. Even after she'd tried that spell to remove his ears and tail.
"I have some in here.. the sheets and things I've changed are in the closet at the end of the hall on the right" Ukaai added to Miles. Her ears half fallen.

Tomo shrugged, "It's not that I don't like it... I'm just... Not a neko!" He said, biting his lower lip. He always got the feeling that the fact that he was human offended her some how. He hated this atmosphere. He scolded himself for wishing for the old Ukaia. When she would tackle him to the floor and lick his cheek whenever he returned from a long trip. The mature Ukaia... didn't do that.

He put it all in the basket then looked up to see her ears. His head went off to one side.
"What's the matter?" He asked worried he did something wrong.

Uakai blinked and then smiled
"oh Nothing.. It's jsut been rough lately" she said to him smiling again. Her ears tried to perk up and just ended up falling back down again.
"You really don't have to do the laundry.. I do it to make up for being allowed tolive here.. " she added sheapishly to him

Miles looked at her.
"It bothers me." He said. "I don't like it when somethings wrong and I don't know what it is." He explained. "Besides I was boared and I wanted to do loundry I guess." He explained.

"I'll make you dinner or something for it later if you like.." She added looking back to him. away from the male sleeping on the bed in ehr room.

He thought for a second.
"To pay me back...I'd rather you tell me what's wrong, but only when you are ready." He smiled softly.
He turned around and went to put the load into the dryer and put this one in the washer.

Richard began to unroll it, tall enough that he could do so without disturbing her, invading her space. "Well...I have." He said, grinning at the map, clearly proud of it. It was illustrated, as the old ones used to be, but this one was accurate. The map was covered with small notations describing the lands, the people, the creatures and plants that thrived there. Clearly, it had taken alot of time and effort, done over many years. there were whole areas of the map that were blank, One area had been started but not finished. Richard pointed to that one with his whole hand. "Here." He said, smiling. "The Demented Muffin."

Bard, unable to contain himself any longer, reached out and cupped Lily's cheek in his hand, frowning a bit. "You aren't like she was at your age, though you have her look. She was a shy thing... didn't have much confidence."
Lily blushed deeply, looking down. "Maybe not, but you changed that for her. She never stopped loving you, even though it couldn't last. Never." The teen locked eyes with the older man, then smiled. "Lets see the goods, hm?"

Finding his words didn't reach her, Tomo sat down on a couch and sighed, "Zooou..." he moaned to his feathery counterpart. "What if I'm hurting her just by existing, huh?" He asked, picking the duck up, "Ritsuko-san said to be proud of myself... and I am! But don't like it when they hurt her." He rested his chin on his knees.
Baizou squawked in an 'you think you got problems?' tone of quack and sat down beside him.

Kaen walked down the stairs, looking a little tired, but still smiling. "Hello, how is everyone tonight?" she asked as she sat down next to the fire, feeling a little cold.

"Amazing," Lady Crystal said, marvelling at the map. "Did you draw all this out yourself?"
Arlen came downstairs, dressed warmly and looking happy. At least until he saw the Bard placing his hand on Lily's cheek. "Get your hands off of her!" he screamed, storming over to the couch.

Bard blinked at Arlen, then held his hands up in a gesture of surrender. "Hey... cool down. She's too young for me. Besides, I like 'em bustier." He winked at Lily, who looked like she wanted to die of embarrassment, then thought a moment. "The goods..." he looked her over critically and sighed. "Don't want to give you anything too strong... just a little boost..." he trailed off, then began searching through his pockets.
"We were just talking." Lily told Arlen softly, still a deep red and wishing the earth would swallow her. "It's okay. I'm well Kaen, thank you." she called to the other woman.
