His eyebrows knitted together at Liv's words, staring at her in confusion. "What is it, what's wrong?" The serious tone of her voice troubled him, and he wondered what had happened in the time that she had been gone.

Liv sat up in bed and swung her legs over the side, facing away from them, tossing the blankets off, "That Akuma...it wasn't here to attack the Order...it came to take me...to take me back to the Noah Mansion, on Tyki's orders..."
Liv stood up and held the compass still hanging around her neck, clutching it tightly in her fist. Her throat got that familiar tight feeling and her chest began to hurt, her voice breaking a little, "I have to go ba-ck...because...the Noah a-are...the Noah are going to invade the Order, they're going to attack, " she let the last bit out quickly and turned to look at them both, her eyes desperate and sad.
She was already beginning to turn the dial on the compass as she walked around the bed towards them. She pulled both of them into a tight embrace, hoping that this wouldn't be the last time she felt their hearts beating, "P-please forgive me...please warn e-everyone...I don't know how much t-time you have..."
Liv's eyes had already begun to trickle tears when she released her friends. The second they were no longer touching, Liv vanished again before their eyes.

Kiah froze, processing the information she had just received and felt her heart beat faster. She noticed the pain in Liv's voice, and knew she hadn't wanted any of this to happen, though Kiah figured it would have to come to this at some point. She hugged Liv back before she disappeared, and after a moment to get herself together, fashioned her expression into grave determination, ready to do whatever she could to defend her home.
"I'll go warn Komui. Lavi, you gather the Exorcists." Kiah made sure to keep all emotion out of her voice and ran to Komui's office, feeling dread well up in her stomach.

[[ Crikey, that's some srsbsns... too bad it's 4 AM and my cold is acting up again X_x Just... pretend you can't find Michiyo guys, since no one has ever been to her room or something, and anyway, it's mayhem and she's terrified and such. He followed her movements with his eye, confusion still written clearly across his face. When she revealed the impending danger, his heart stopped and he stared at her in disbelief. He couldn't even say anything when she moved towards them and hugged them, hanging loosely in the embrace, eye unfocused. When she disappeared into thin air again, he was still staring into nothingness until Kiah's voice shook him out of his daze. The first emotion that appeared on his face was one of sadness, that this moment that they'd all seen coming but had wanted to avoid more than anything, had finally arrived. Next, a feeling of dread rose up inside him and he rushed out of the infirmary as well, running towards the Common Room to find whoever he could, heart pounding in his chest. He figured Komui would announce the situation to the whole Order once Kiah had informed him.

Upon arriving at Komui's office, Kiah immediately kicked Komui's chair out from underneath him, telling him that Lenalee was getting married so he'd wake up. After a few seconds of ranting, Komui seemed to catch on to Kiah's serious mood.
"Sir, Liv brought us some terrible news. The Earl is planning an attack on headquarters. The Akuma we encountered yesterday was there on orders to fetch Liv before they came. She teleported away as soon as she told us, but from what she said, it's going to happen soon."

Cross hobbled into the Common Room. When he heard the news from Lavi, all he could say was, "I knew this would happen. Where's Sil? I'll need her. I can't do much in my current state."
Cross wondered how long they had been planning this; if what happened to him was related, if the Noah were after him or if they were after all of the Exorcists in general.
"We probably don't have much time."

((Awww bye Michi. ;-; Sleep well my dear. <3 *Peeks back in and sews simultaneously.*))
Sil had spent the last day holed up in her room pouring through book after book, searching for the one that may have contained the secret to what Liv had used to remove herself and the Akuma from the unfortunate situation the day before. Searching the grounds and the areas surrounding turned up nothing and the young Italian woman couldn't stand the idea of sitting around idly, not when someone so near to her heart could be in danger somewhere. Reading, finding her own way to help Liv helped dim the harsh gnaw of guilt working at her, eating her from the inside out. If only she could find out what the object was, then deduction could do the rest... she could figure out where it took her and then they might be able to find her, hopefully alive and in one piece still...
News of her return reached her late, but when it did reach her a flood of relief hit her like a warm tidal wave. However, along with the rumor of her return came the alert on the attack which quickly changed her route from the infirmary to the Common Room where she knew she would find some of the other Exorcists. "Lavi, Cross," she said with a tone of relief in her voice, glad to see both of them were somewhere where she knew they were safe, at least for now. "What the hell is going on? Where's Liv?"

"Liv went back to the Noah Mansion. I knew this would happen. We don't know how much time there is before the Noah arrive, but I guarantee it won't be long. We need to gather everyone that we can. Sil, I need you to stay with me. I can barely do anything like this," he admitted, clenching his jaw a bit.

Lavi shook his head, leaning against the wall, out of breath. "I... don't know..." He hadn't seen Sil all day. He looked at Cross, worried that one of their strongest fighters was practically out of commission.
He was about to answer Sil's question after she'd entered the Common Room when Cross did. He had caught his breath again and pushed away from the wall, already firmly gripping Tettsui.

After reporting the situation to Komui, Kiah had gone back to her room to find the pistol given to her by her father. She knew it probably wouldn't make a difference if she had it or not, but it made her feel less vulnerable just holding it. Rifling through her stash for it, she quickly grabbed the holster and secured it to her hip, running out of the room and making sure all of the scientists and workers were evacuating to a safe location.

"She went back to the mansion?" Sil shook her head slowly, wondering what kind of danger Liv had just put herself in again by sharing information with the Noah's enemy. "That woman is insane... what is she doing..."
Sil's face noticeably paled at Cross's words, knowing that he was right; the tables had turned and she was going to be the one that needed to protect him. A wash of fear hit her as she wondered whether or not she was even capable of the task, but the answer to that question didn't matter. She had to-- to lose another General completely would be detrimental to them, and even if she had the option she wouldn't abandon Cross even if it cost her life.
"I know," she said, her voice a little shakey. "And I suppose it would be wishful thinking to hope they'd attack all in one place... We're going to be spread thin if Exorcists are all over The Order... This is going to be bad... We're lucky we even got a warning or it would have been a massacre in here."

Jacob stood in the shadows watching the tower of the order. Normally he would just stroll right in and hang out with the exorcists. He hadn't known the earl had been sending akuma to follow him and see where he kept disappearing to every night...and then yesterday he received the blunt end of the earl's power. The bunny man had given Jacob a good beating before explaining anything to him...about what he knew and about what was going to happen next. He ordered Jaocb to attack the order...his goal was to determined the location of the guardian of the innocence...and to destroy anyone who got in his way. The earl informed him the task was impossible...so he wouldn't be going alone. He should be making an opening for the future...so tonight he was simply to do as much damage as he could....kill anyone he needed to...and try to take out generals alongside lulubell.
Jack was the black sheep of the noah clan. He wasn't fond of the earl's ways, and this was master earl's way of showing jacob just how far his leash would stretch before he would be yanked back and taught a lesson. The earl refused to let addie go along with Jaocb until he was sure the boy would do as he was told. Jaocb glanced over at lulubell, took a steadying breath, and tried to forget that he had friends in that building. He pulled out his lighter, his skin turned a dark grey color and flames danced and circled around him.
"let's go" he called to lulubell and dashed out from the shadows, charging into the building...
