So, one of my classes this semester is called, "Monkeys, Apes and Humans," basically it's a course on primatology and how it relates to understanding human interactions. The teacher's a hoot, easy going and such, and the room is always blistering hot, even with windows open.
So we're going over the primates and their sense of smell being only about human last class. Today he starts off with a slide of the proboscis monkey, and he points, explaining what it is and he says, "Let me tell you, these fellas don't smell any better than the other Non-human primates we've talked about."
I have no idea why, but I laughed my a** off. xd I got in a spot of trouble, and the rest of the class was spent with him trying not to encourage my childish sense of humor with day to day activities of primates, such as digestion. rofl

Kinetic Dream So, one of my classes this semester is called, "Monkeys, Apes and Humans," basically it's a course on primatology and how it relates to understanding human interactions. The teacher's a hoot, easy going and such, and the room is always blistering hot, even with windows open. So we're going over the primates and their sense of smell being only about human last class. I'd love to take a class like that.

I get off work in an hour & ten minutes. When I get home you better be naked & ready to cuddle. scream Yes, naked. We're eliminating the clothes to emanate body heat faster to speed the warming process. Don't worry, we will use a blanket to trap the warmth. domokun

I'd love to take a class like that. It's kind of dry right now, we're just learning about the different divisions of primates for the time being, but we do get amusing videos (Planet of the Apes, lol), and pictures (monkey with a handgun xD), but all in all it's pretty fun, just a good long laugh and some learning along the way.

I drive home with a window down with nice 50 degree air. Nicer than this morning, I assume. I walk into the house and it feels like walking into an oven gonk gonk
Someone must have the heat set on like...90. That's what it felt like ;.; Needless to say I immediately retreated to the room and threw open the window with the fan on high before melting away.
Oh, and story time. Marni's oldest sister (she's 26...has the bf who is a drug dealer who is now in prison) was out drinking again last night. This is the one we had to go find and drove all over the place, and we found her car but no her and it turned out she was at a friend's house about...30 minutes or so from there. Wtf. Anyway, that morning she came home around 5am crying saying she wouldn't drink so much, etc. A couple weeks ago, she drove home drunk and lied about it; claimed a friend drove her car and her here, and then drove home which was BS since we saw her park and get out etc. Anyway, last night about midnight the phone rings and you can hear the commotion going on in her other sister's room. I guess the oldest one had called probably to antagonize her mother (she likes pulling this bull s**t all the time) and her mom is borderline hysterical. Thankfully this time, she got back within about 10 minutes of that fiasco, but regardless, I believe she was driving drunk again.
I'm irritated because she's going to end up killing someone one of these days. There is no ******** excuse for drunk driving. I told Marni she should call the cops if she does this stunt again. OH what also gets me is the behavior would be easily stopped if there was some sort of punishment. Of course not though. She continues to get her homework done for her and by who? Her mom, of course. If her mom took that away, I'm not sure the girl would do this. Then again, if it's alcoholism like I highly suspect, there isn't much you can do.

Ashram McDuck So AG ... I have a one week vacation coming in less than two months ... but I have no idea what I should do. Suggestions!? Well it depends on when exactly your vacation is. If possible, it might be awesome to decide your vacation depending on where the Cherry Blossom front will be at the time. If it's still too early for that, I'd be glad to give you a bunch of neat suggestions of cool places to go. 3nodding heart
