((Hate to burst your bubble again, but there wasn't anything physically wrong with his wings... sweatdrop ))
Baizou stayed behind Ukaia and waddled circles behind her, tail feathers twitching as he did. He flapped his wings, but got no lift. How did Ellie do it?

((no worries Miles ^^ But things like this happen a lot. We have a lot of human poofing into ducks/kitties/bunnies and other such creatures running around. Not to mention half breeds such as Ukaia who's a Neko ^^ I jsut wanted to point it out to you because i figured you haden't realized * pet pet* it's an on going duck joke actually....)

Miles looked at it.
"It can't fly." He was about to roll up his sleeves to try to heal it again, but thought twice. "Wait...Why can't it fly?" He asked.

Uakia paused in helping Arlen upstairs and looked down the duck and then looked at miles
"Because his name is Bai.. he's a neko" she said simply
"His magic is a bit haywire right now.. but his scent is the same.. he must have transformed himself into a duck" she said shaking her head lightly. Her tail pet the duck lightly on his head and down his back
"Don't worry Bai.. i'm sure Ellie will be down soon" she added smiling to the duck. THen at Miles

"Thank you!" Lily suddenly cried out, wrapping her arms around Bard tightly. Luckily, she'd already finished her cocoa, so it didn't spill on him. "Thank you so much..." she whispered again, then pulled away, beaming.
"Hey, it's no problem. I mean... well, you know." Bard looked slightly uncomfortable, and eased away from her a bit. He was a man of pleasure, and she looked enough like his old flame to get very improper thoughts running through his mind. "It's just magic you need, right? Nothing else?"
"Just the magic." she agreed, nodding with a sigh. "Everything else is prepared. I am glad Cerri thought to send for you."

"Ah, that's a misconception, Uka." Tomo countered, "Baizou is no more neko than I am... He's a..." He frowned, trying to put his finger on it. "I don't know what he is... A clone, maybe?" He shrugged, picking the duck up.
Baizou closed his eyes as Ukaia pet him and kicked his legs as he was picked up.

He asked. Tomo shook his head. "I don't have any laundry. Thanks, though." He said, "Caradoc did a load earlier I think."

Richard went to his dresser, pullling open a drawer and with drawing a large roll of paper. He came over to the desk, frowned at the notes covering it, and then set the roll on the desk, looking thoughtful. "You said you had never traveled far from you lands before?" He asked, curious.

"i forgot.. sorry.. " She added as she wrapped her tail around her waist
"Um.. There is some laundry upstairs. I was going to do it later.. but.. If you want" she added. Turning to head upstairs.

seeing Ukaia get caught in a conversation, Arlen had staggered his way upstairs and to his room to get some dry clothes.
Lady Crystal nodded. "That is correct," she says, looking over at the roll of paper curiously.
