How's everyone else's day going? I'm gonna have to go diving through the archives to see if I can retrieve our resident Rogue.... can't have her being lost in there all week.

Anyone in the states got big plans for Thanksgiving?

No plans on Turkey day here. Just relax, I am not a big fan on the holiday. That is the day my dads mom had passed away when I was a kid. So not a fun day for me, but I try to enjoy it.

*huggles Lamb* I kind of know the feeling.. from loosing so many family members over the past few years.. my grandmother passed away 2years ago.. the day after Turkey Day..

I guess it's just all in how you handle it though. I try to just enjoy spending time with the family as well. For Thanksgiving we'll all be gathering at my mom's as usual. And I'll be mashing up massive amounts of potatoes as usual lol, I've never been the Turkey (or ham) cooker.

For Christmas, we are considering a trip to WI to visit my sister and the rest of my mom and dad's family.. so that should be interesting if it happens..

Morning guys. Looks like I've managed to get some sort of flu. I'm staying home today because I have little bit fever and aching all over. I hope this is just the regular kind of stuff so I'll be up and running again within few days.

In here we don't have that many winter holidays. On December is of course Christmas and then our independence day... oh and new years of course. I like all of those holidays and I've been lucky to have a peacfull holidays but I know that there are many people who fear especially Christmas as crazy as it might sound. I'm sad to say that in here, besides the summer it's one of those times in the year when there are more domestic violence and women with their children sleeping in safe houses. *shakes head in sorrow* I'm not sure if it's in the geens or what but it looks like that many of the Finns just can't handle booze.
