"It's...not just that, though...I said something really hurtful to him earlier...and that hurts me more than anything."

It's true, don't laugh. *Smiles a little bit.* When I was still a teenager I used to watch you with all the guys and try to figure out how I could be more like you. All your confidence and how easily you draw people to you.
*Pauses at Liv's grave admission.* What did you say...? *Tilts her head again, wondering what she could have said that hurt both of them so badly.*

Oh, I see... *Lets out a little sigh.* Well you know... people say things they don't mean all the time... it's human nature... and if you think you hurt him then sometimes the only thing to do is apologize, right...? I know I've said something very, very similar to that before. *Frowns slightly at the memory of it, realizing that she is certainly not the best person to talk to for relationship advice considering her terrible track record so far.* Sometimes we hurt each other without really meaning to but you're all the stronger once the pain is forgiven.

Well then. *Smiles a little, glad to hear that there wasn't any truth to her words, even if she is a little wary of Jacob most of the time.* As long as you didn't mean it, I'm sure he has some forgiveness to be found and it'll turn out all right in the end. All you can do is try, right? *Pets her cheek gently in a sisterly fashion.* It might just take a little time.
