Omg... yes. The US healthcare system is major fail. My family doesn't even have health insurance because it's too expensive. D:
Bummer about having to pay so much to travel though. x .x;;
But hey, at least you guys have the ability to travel around the world. That's really amazing. ; u; I'm sure lots of people would love to be able to do what you guys can. ^^

Yes, I shouldn't complain... really I shouldn't. I'd just much rather go shopping or do some more travelling (like China and Japan) instead. But... well it would really suck if I wouldn't have the insurance and something would happen. Since I can afford the insurance I'd rather just take it.
I can only afford to travel because I've been granted so many scholarships :3 My school happens to have quite a lot of funds and supports student exchange.

Ah yes, but I hear the school loans are the cheapest kind of loans you can get (at least that's how it is over here~). So uh, I guess that's a way to look at the bright side.

I also loathe the need for sleep sometimes. It's not surprising since, as a kid, I always used to host sleepovers at my house that were really stay-up-the-whole-night-and-play-video-games parties.
