Now, with proper directions, and a fairly detailed description of the girl she was looking for, Kasiya stepped out of the Pokemon Center, ready to be off, but not before a fully-restored Shocker released herself from her Pokeball. "But I'm not walking," Kasiya told the Raichu, who gave a bit of a scoff and climbed up onto her shoulder, using her long tail to steady herself. "Well then, try not to fall," Kasiya giggled, reaching up to gently caress the Raichu's right cheek. "And we're off!"

They rode west, past many houses and streets that lead off in different directions. Kasiya got a good look at the game corner, deciding to keep away from that place for now. The one thing, however, that caught her attention, was the Mauville City gym. In comparison to her father's gym, back home in Vermilion, it was fairly similar, and she also forgot her current errand as she rode up to the front doors and tried to peek inside. The door was locked, so she assumed that Wattson wasn't in yet, and she decided to keep riding west.

A large shadow swept across the ground, and both Kasiya and Shocker looked up instinctively. "Oh wow!" she exclaimed, completely forgetting that she was riding a bicycle in her excitement. "It's a Tropius!" It was that moment in time when her bike's front tire hit a well-disguised rock embedded in the road (fact of the matter being it could have been the broad side of a barn and Kasiya still would have hit it), and she lost control. The bike teetered and tottered before falling over, dumping its rider onto the road like a sack of potatoes. "Oof," Kasiya groaned, flat on her back. "Shocker, you okay?" she asked, opening her eyes slowly.

"Rai." came the reply, and Kasiya lifted her head, sighing at the sight of her Raichu sitting calmly on her chest, looking completely unscathed and very much amused.

"Don't even," Kasiya started, but it was too late. Shocker had burst into a fit of laughter, pointing at her trainer with a paw, a few stray sparks emanating from her cheeks and bouncing on the ground around them.

Crenu picked up a rather parge hunk of wood that had been broken off in the earlier battle with Spinarak. It was about a foot in diameter, a bit uneven but funtional as a small shield. Holding it upas a target, he jumped back a few feet and prepared. "Alright, Larvitar, runn aroundand try to dodge, Spinarak, use Poison Sting on the shield!" As he said this, he picked up severl rocks and began to throw them at Larvitar. Larvitar jumped to the side as he dodged the first rock while Spinarak began to vile a wave of needles that missed the wood completely. "Try again, you'll get it." Throwing another rock, Spinarak took aim and fired just after Larvitar jumped. A few needles flew off into the clearing but most of them were able to find their mark.

"Not bad, lets try again, but it'll be harder now." He threw two rocks this time, one right after another. Larvitar dodged the first one, then the second one while spinarak tried to hit the target. Just as she found her mark on the first dodge, the second dodge came right after and would require her to change the direction of her fire. She stopped spitting needles the moment that Larvitar made the second jump and took aim for the second time, firing away again and hitting the target dead on. Impressed, Crenu threw another set f Rocks, but this time as Larvotar Dodged and Spinarak shot, He too began to run aroundHe dodged the oncoming needles and threw another few rocks, catching both pokemon by surprise. The first rock hit Larvitar and simply bounced off, but the second rock hit Spinarak and nearly knocked her off of his head. "Larvitar, right now you and Spinarak are a team right? and as such you have to do more than just move her around, you need to protect her from attacks. You are a rock type, that means you are a lot more durable that she is. Mot hits that can damage a bug type like Spinarak won't have much effect on you, and in the heat of a team battle you'll have to do what you can to ensure her safety. Now you can't take all the hits, she has to do some of the work too, but when you can do what is best for you both as a team. With that notion, Crenu ran around again and threw another rock aimed directly at Spinarak. Larvitar jumped up into the air and crushed the rock with his teeth while Spinarak pubbled the hunk of wood with her poison sting. The wood nearly broke in two and Crenu dropped it, he was satisfied.

M.A. had begun to walk back to Mauville, after having said farewell to the DayCare Man, and was hummming cheerily along. As she turned the corner though, around a few trees, she saw (to her half-horror, half-amazement) a bike unsteadily wiggling on its wheels, promptly dumping itself, its rider, and a orange-ish Pokemon on the ground.

"Ouch! Are you alright?" she asked, eyes wide; there was a tinge of laughter within those hazel orbs, too, though, after seeing the Raichu nearly rolling with laughter on its trainer's chest, sparks flying. You didn't see a scene like this every day, y'know. Ulani, having nestled up on M.A.'s head, was coooing curiously, and Daemyn was nonchalantly watching by "his girl"'s side.

Kilik drummed his fingers on his theigh as he hummed to himself. There was nobody else in the Center, other than Nurse Joy and a younger male trainer. This other trainer had a Lotad perched on the top of his head. Kilik pulled his PokeDex from his pocket and began to look through it. "Lotad...Lotad..." he whispered. He found the entry, along with the two Pokemon it evolved into.

"Lotad evolves into Lombre and then into Ludicolo by use of a Water Stone," the words 'Water Stone' seemed to click in his head. There was a snap of his fingers, and he stashed his PokeDex back into his pocket. Swinging his backpack onto his lip and unzipping in, Kilik pushed through what little items he had and found two hard stones at the bottom of his bag. He pulled them out carefully and gazed at the Thunder Stone and Water Stone that he was holding in his hands. "I can capture a Lombre...then use this to evolve it!" he laughed to himself, biting his lower lip as he did so. His attention then turned to the Thunder Stone.

"I can't make Flareon into a Jolteon now. And I don't want a Pikachu," he blinked, "And Elekid doesn't evolve by Thunder Stone." He looked at it one more time, "What use is it to me?" the boy laughed, putting both rocks into his bag again.

"Looks like I'm going to get myself a Lombre!" he pounded his fist into his palm, "It'd be a nice replacement for Poppite, too."

"What are you, laughing at, Furball?" Kasiya grumbled, reaching up and playfully shoving the Raichu aside. This made Shocker laugh even harder, until she realized they were being observed. Kasiya took the hint as Shocker suddenly became quiet, and climbed down from her trainer's chest in order to let her get up. "Yeah. I'm okay," Kasiya said sheepishly, sitting up and rubbing the back of her head. "That's nothing, compared to some of the falls I've had." She stood up, amazed to find nothing broken or strewn across the ground. She looked up at the girl who'd spoken to her, doing a double take as the cottony hat she wore on her head moved a bit. A Houndour stood by her side, looking fairly unimpressed by the situation. "Oh, wait," Kasiya said, as something clicked into place. "I think you're just the person I'm looking for!"

M.A.'s imagination was about to run away with her as she wondered how bad this trainer's falls could get -- not that she saw it as a bad thing, as she herself tripped herself up often and easily -- and might've started picturing some nigh impossible instances if her thought train hadn't been done away with at the slightly older girl's last comment.

"Huh?" M.A. blanked, cocking her head to one side; it was a habit of hers, when she was a tad confused. Then, out of the blue, she gasped inwardly. Could this girl be one of those advertising people looking to recruit people to reality shows?! That's exactly what one of those recruiters said on the last sitcom I watched! And then they pranked the people and they never knew! And then. . . Alright, so perhaps that imaginary thought train of hers hadn't stopped at all, merely taking another turn. Panicking a bit now, M.A. stuttered, "No, no, it's okay! I think you should choose someone else." Daemyn glanced up at her, as if asking what the hell she was stammering on about; even Ulani looked confused, having lost balance when the girl had tilted her head.

Now it was Kasiya's turn to be confused. She blinked a few times, looking down at Shocker, who only shrugged in reply. "Uh, okay then," Kasiya said, scratching her head. I guess I misheard Nurse Joy's description before I left the Pokemon Center. I've got to learn to listen more closely when people are talking to me. This is how I wind up meeting crazy people all the time, she sighed, shaking her head. She looked over at her bike, looking helpless and abandoned on the side of the road. She walked over to it, and pulled it upright, taking in her surroundings. "Oh, the Daycare Center! We're in the right place, at least," she said, more to herself than anyone else. "I guess we'll be seeing you, then," she said, giving the strange girl a small wave. "If you happen to meet someone who goes by 'M.A.,' please tell them that Kasiya is looking for her." She paused for a moment, before adding "That's me."

M.A. noted the strange expression the girl and all the Pokemon around gave her, then rebuked herself silently. Alright, a week of TV is too much for me. She was just about to absent-mindedly wave back, as this Kasiya seemed like she wanted to leave, when something struck in her head as funny. Alright, alright, so she was having a slow day. . . "Wait, Kasiya! You don't need to look anymore; I'm M.A.," she said, managing a smile through the confusion. "I'm sorry for before, I just. . . well, I just stop thinking sometimes," she finished, laughing sheepishly, scratching the back of her head. "Is something the matter, though?" She might've let that trouble-making imagination ride free with the 'crimes' she could've commited to warrant someone looking for her, but she smashed it down immediately. No more of that ridiculous stuff.

Kasiya turned on her heel, and sighed. "Oh, good, my ears aren't failing me..." she mumbled, managing a smile. "Thinking is overrated anyways," she said, reaching into her front vest pocket and holding up a PokeNav. "There's nothing to worry about, I'm just playing delivery girl today. This is yours, then?" she asked, holding the fairly new device out in front of her. "Nurse Joy said you left it behind when you ran out of the Pokemon Center in a rush to deliver that medicine." Shocker chose to retake her favorite position on Kasiya's shoulder, and did just that, and quite effortlessly, too. Even though she had to adjust her footing, Kasiya always felt happy with the Raichu up there like that.

"Oh, wow. Thanks a bunch," M.A. smiled that signature 1000-watt smile of hers, taking the previously missing orange PokeNav. "That's too kind of you -- I hope it wasn't any trouble!" Mary-Anne couldn't help but sigh a bit; she was heading back anyways, Nurse Joy and Kasiya didn't have to go out of there way so much. She grinned again, though, when she saw the Raichu climp up upon the other trainer's shoulder; the two looked so friendly and close to one another.

"I've never seen a Pokemon like that before; she's looks really strong (and uber-cute, too)," the brunette observed genially.

"No trouble at all. Besides, I wasn't doing anything anyways," Kasiya shrugged, happy to be helpful for a change. Shocker nodded her agreement, keeping her eyes on the two new Pokemon in front of her. "She is pretty tough little Raichu, although a bit reckless at times," Kasiya laughed, ignoring the annoyed glare Shocker shot at her then. "But I don't know what I'd do without her. She's gotten me out of some pretty tight situations before. Shocker's death glare had morphed into a smug smirk, but she wrapped her paws around Kasiya's head and nuzzled her face. "Plus she's pretty much been with me from day two...let go, Shocker, you're smothering me!" The last part was fairly muffled, but the young trainer was laughing as she pried the electric mouse from her head. "Speaking of unknown Pokemon, I've never met any Pokemon like that, either," Kasiya said, nodding at the Swablu. "But regardless, cute as a fluffy button!"

"Zyphyr! Look out!" Mitsu screamed, attracting quite a bit of attention. She couldn't help it, Zyphyr's back was towards the attack anyways. By the time Zyphyr had turned his head around to see the on coming attack, it was too late. The attack took out any stamnia the Pidgeotto had left. and then some. He fell to the ground, the vines still tangled around his wings. Once there he didn't move, not even a twitch or his signature death glare for Mitsu. Mitsu silently returned her fallen Pokemon. "Here, sorry I'm broke," Mitsu said shoving a mere $550 Pokedollars into the girl's hand before speeding off to Mauville. Dammit! How could I have left that happen? Mitsu peddled faster determined to make it to the Pokemon Center as fast as she could.

In a few short minutes, and several close collisions, she made it towards the exit/entrance building. With a quick nod the lady inside left her though and she was off like a bullet towards the ever so familiar red roofed building. Once spotted she placed her bike in the rack outside, scratching a bit of the paint off, and rushed inside. The sliding doors were just fast enough to prevent her from running into it. "Nurse Joy, please take care of my Pidgeotto," she said between gasps of air. Nurse Joy looked around, the Pokemon Center was already quite full. "Please!" Mitsu cried. She looked sad before replying. "I'm sorry, we're quite full at the moment. There is a Pokemon Center in the town over there, it should only be a quick ride." Mitsu merely nodded before exiting. She grabbed her bike and began peddling again. Barely making it outside of Mauville her Mach Bike collasped. "Should have been more careful when I was placing it in the rack," she muttered. Quickly folding it back up, she was sure she did it wrong but she didn't care then, and shoved it in her bag. Mitsu sighed before looking up to see a few trainers in the distance. In her disarray she didn't even notice one of them was Kasiya. "It's going to take too long," she sighed. Standing up she felt her feet wobble. She definatly needed some rest herself. Biking that long and fast had did a number on her.

"All right Mankey! Lets start this battle off with a Leer." Jake comanded from his side of the make shift arena. The fluffy monkey like pokemons eyes glowed for a moment befor glancing over at Queeny in a lear. The small pokemon glowed slightly indicating the change. Oddly enough even though Toph couldn't see the glow she could feel it, she felt a certain change in how her pokemon stood there and now tense her muscles were.

Toph frowned slightly at that not liking it in the least. "Lets try out your new move Queeny." She said hoping that might help some. Queeny grinned befor she sent hearts all over the arena. The Mankey however was very agile and easily dodged the slow moving hearts much to Toph and Queeny's displeasure.

"Mankey use Low Kick now!" Still dodging the moving hearts the Mankey jumped over extending a kick and sliding it over the ground and knocking Queeny off of her feet. Unfortunatly for the Mankey Queenys poison point ability made it not such a good idea to touch her. While most of the time you would be able to escape without poison the Mankey had the bad luck of being effected by it. Jumping back away from the pokemon the Mankey panted slightly as the toxins from Queenys poison started to flow through its system.

"Queeny use Tackle attack!" Toph comanded. All ready having picked herself up off of the ground Queeny ran forward ready and leaped powerfully, the Leer not affecting her attack. Tackling the Mankey proved to be a bit difficult as it jumped up into the air just in time to miss the brunt of the attack, Queeny had managed to hit its leg. When the Mankey landed it seemed to be breathing a bit harder from the poison. Toph grinned at that, the more the Mankey moved the faster the toxin would move throughout its body. The Mankey was to fast to do any real damage but if she could keep it moving the poison would work its magic faster. "Queeny keep using Tackle."

M.A. laughed girlishly; they really were a cute combo, this trainer and her Pokemon. "This is Ulani, a Swablu; she just popped out of nowhere and joined our crew today," she smiled, patting her own head only to realize that Ulani had floated off to her side. "Cute and the most fashionable hat on the market," M.A. drawled, taking on the tone of a sophisticate aristocrat and standing on her toes to get the height of a model. Ulani trilled at being called cute -- twice! -- and fluttered in the air before promptly perching on Daemyn's head. He didn't seem annoyed at it, anymore, though he did give her a cross-eyed look.

Mary-Anne looked at Kasiya with admiration; she sounded so sure and experienced to her. It sounds like she's been around quite a bit. "Where are you heading to, Kasiya?" she asked, smiling curiously; there were so many trainers and so many places that it was always interesting to M.A. Some towns and regions she'd never even heard of.
