Huh, these new Killa Kans are a veritable health hazard with their small sharp bits. I can see why GW has recalled them.

The Imperials wont have a bloody nose if you bring another faithful guard commander to help with your strategizing.

They have been recalled due to sharp bits? eek They had to for legal reasons. Something involving keeping their products registered as toys, if I've heard properly.

Correct, all boxes have been recalled so a sticker can be added to them that it is a product for 14+ My FLGS' still had them, which was a good call, seeing as my brother got me a box of them. A bit pricey but on the bright side you get three Dreadnought sized models for the price of one. On the down side, not a lot of bits. Not that it really matters, as I'm quite content with one Skorcha, Rokkit Launcher and Grotzooka, though for others this could well be a great exercise in converting extra weapons.

As long as we get them back, i hadn't been able to buy them yet and they are just so darn cute. A big improvement to the older models

An improvement they are. I have one old Kan that I've compared with the new boxed set. They're bigger, which is a great plus, along with all the other pros of a modern plastic kit, such as being easier to assemble, easier to convert and less to prone to break when it drops 1" or more.

Lt. Brookman Chances are, yes the Imperium is getting another bloody nose. I've been playing my Guard against primarily Orks at the shop lately, and I don't forsee that. A lot of Ork players are going too points-heavy for the army, ignoring the Orky advantage of numbers.

Boyz before toyz is the way to go, unless you really know how to operate an ork specialist army that is, seen a full Meganob army do pretty damn well against competative players.

I think he is referring to it story-wise, Forge World seems to enjoy letting the Imperium lose in very painful ways. sad
