"Hm?" Yugi seemed to be the only one who had heard her, glancing up momentarily, then flicking his gaze back down, looking uninterested. A moment or so later, he glanced wearily towards Bakura, who seemed detached from the world completly, then towards Kira. "Atem wants to know what's happened so far. I don't want to tell him about punching Bakura... Please don't tell him. I'd really rather you didn't."
"So you did explain everything to the girl, yes?" Shadi asked, glancing down at Khalid, a slightly bored look on his face. "She knows the conquences and still didn't surrender the boy?"
Khalid nodded his head, avoiding Shadi's gaze. "She did not even allow me to try and draw him out..." He said, hesitating, then asked, "If we cannot confront the boy-- Ryou-- alone, could we not wait for fate to adjust as it did before? It is natural in a human instinct to live, and the tomb robber will create a substitute anyway, which could grow into its own soul, with memories and such. That would be equal to just allowing Ryou to remain inside of the body, correct?"
"No!" Shadi snapped harshly, taking Khalid by surprise. "You seem to be forgetting what powers you are dealing with, Khalid." Shadi spat out the name with a hidden hatred, despising the name the boy had bestown upon himself. "I can clearly see that you are suggesting that from mortal emotions. Judging by your new name, don't you wish to be immortal? Eternal? You mustn't allow yourself to be weighted down by those matters. Forget what you believe to be better for that boy, and think about it as a whole." Whirling around on his heel, Shadi left Khalid standing alone in the room, with only the flickering candlelight.

(Shadi? I'm so OOC with him, it's making me cringe.)
Yugi nodded, then noticed that Bakura was staring at him. Under the weight of the yami's gaze, Yugi couldn't help but squirm slightly in his seat, forcing a blush away. He didn't like to be stared at; it just embarressed him to no end. Unfortuantly he forgot that he was still in conversation with Arem, and his yami heard him thinking-- more like pleading mentally-- for Bakura to just look away. An exclamation of rage was heard from Atem, and before Yugi could even start to calm him down, the link was snapped off, but without Atem first grumbling something about how he was going to seriously kill Bakura.

kira grabed the remote that was beside her and chucked it at bakura without even looking.It hit him dead center in the middle of his eyes "Quit being an a**."

"What?" Bakura snapped, glancing over at Kira, irratated. Glaring at her now, Bakura rubbed where the remote had hit him. "I didn't do anything." He snarled, sounding like a child.

"I don't know what you're talking about..." Bakura muttered, inching away from Kira, scrunching up slightly. He truly did look like a rude little child, with how he was talking and acting. He snapped out of this the moment there was a loud bang on the door, a fuming Atem behind it, having ran from the game shop to Kira's home.

Kira sighed and went to the door and opened it "Atemu yugi's fine.." she told him.

Atem took no notice of what Kira just said. When the door was open he burst into the room, pouncing on Bakura the next moment. There was a strangled cry of surprise from the tomb robber, which was quickly silenced when Atem wrapped his hands around Bakura's neck, squeezing tightly, feeling as though something cracked in his hands.
Bakura struggled to get out from underneath the pharaoh, but it was useless. The lack of oxygen and pain from Atem was bad enough, but it was impossible for Bakura to do anything because of his weakened state. His hands flew up and weakly grabbed Atem's wrists, pitifully trying to pry his hands away. Bakura's eyes filled with blood from a popped vessel or so, making him close his eyes, gritting his teeth together in utter pain.

Kira ran over and wacked atemu on the pressrue point in his neck and sighed as he passed out.She picked him up by the collor "okie everybody off the couch."

Bakura jumped off of the couch, and managed to clear his eyesight by blinking and wiping the blood away, massaging his throat. Muttering a mix of English and Egyptian curses towards the pharaoh, Bakura glared at the form of Atem.
Yugi had already gotten off of the couch since Atem had nearly flown across the room, knowing that it would be best to get out of the way. He felt a few pangs of sympathy-- which he was truly surprised about them-- towards Bakura, seeing him so weak, and after Atem did that to him. Yugi wasn't used to seeing Bakura like that; prehaps it was mostly the sight of a scared Ryou lingering around that made Bakura seem so much more worse. But now... this was just pathetic.

"Besides almost being strangled by the pharaoh? Yeah, just great..." Bakura muttered, wiping any traces of the blood from his eyes, He was feeling along the same terms as Yugi was thinking; utterly helpless right then, and extremely vunerable. He growled at this feeling, since he didn't like that.
The door which Atem had just come through burst open, Khalid hurling himself inside. He glanced around for a moment, as though unsure where he was, then focused his gaze on Kira. "I apologize for this." he said quickly, bowing his head swiftly. It seemed obvious that he was in a hurry. "But I need to warn you. Shadi's angry, which is one of the rarest things I've ever seen. Claims I've failed in fate's grand mission or something." Shaking his head, knowing that Kira wouldn't care about that, he hurried on. "But he's coming now, and is plenty mad. Believe me, when he's like this, no mortal like you can stop him. I doubt a Millennium Item could really stop him. Slow him down, maybe, but that won't be enough." Glaring over at Bakura, Khalid's eyes narrowed sharply. "We need to hide him. I'm not doing this for Bakura in any way, believe me. For Ryou's sake, work with me." He snapped, glancing feverishly towards the door.

Khalid glared at Kira, then looked back towards Bakura. "I already told you; this is only for Ryou. Though now I'm not even sure why I'm doing this for him in the first place, seeing as I could be severly punished." Khalid was silent for a moment as he thought about this, then shook his head quickly, clearing his mind, getting back to what he had come here in the first place. "Now I don't mean hiding your body. That would be far too easy to find. I'm going to send all three parts of your mind to the Shadow Realm; Bakura will be easy for Shadi to find, being a spirit and all, but if he's disconnected from the others it'll make it harder. As for Ryou and the false one, they'll be just a bit easier to find than normal mortals, but not as easy as tracking down Bakura." He seemed to just be telling them his plan out loud, but then addressed Bakura. "It will be difficult for you to withstand the Shadow Realm for a long period of time, without a Millennium Item. I know you may believe you're one with the shadows or something, but you'll find it's much harder to withstand the Shadow Realm without any sort of proctection. I'm hoping that Shadi will first try to track you down, being easier and all, so you can return to your body before the shadows completly swallow you." Before anybody could protest, or even say anything, Khalid folded his hands in front of his chest, summoning a large amout of his power-- for this would be difficult for him-- and quickly banished Bakura's mind to the Shadow Realm, along with Ryou's and the false Ryou's, slicing through the links that connected them. He watched blankly as Bakura's eyes rolled to the back of his head, the body soul-less, and crumpled to the ground.
