*He gladly accepted the help, leaning as little as he could on Kai well getting up, though he was still too weak to stand completely on his own* Arigatou.... *Than didn't feel right about going..... and Kai's silence allowed him to tell she was holding back her own feelings. It could be for a number of reasons. Than stood still for a moment and looked to Kai, neither happy nor sad in his appearance* Kaiori-chan, if you have something you want to say then please do. Though, I guess I can figure what you want to say. *He smiled faintly* Like I said... I don't really want to go either.... and yes I am sort of afraid to go back, but I can't let that stop me. I'm sorry for doing this to you...... I'm trying my best to do what I think is the right thing to do, but there's always a good chance I'm wrong. Either way..... if you want me to know something then just say it. *It did matter if she didn't want him to go, but there wasn't much that could be done from stopping that from happening*

*Than carefully moved his arm away from supporting him and took the token in his palm. He didn't look at it long before closing his fingers around it and embracing Kai tightly with his arm. His head was more or less ear to ear with Kai* I'll keep it safe. It doesn't matter to me what it can and can't do....... it's still special. *He didn't sigh but he let out a long breath* Whatever you think, what you want does matter to me. I'll try to keep in touch as much as I can. I.... just think I may be able to do more from the inside than out here. *Than gave her a slight squeeze* Take care of yourelf, okay?...... actually...... just do whatever you believe you should do. *Kai may have been trying to hold back her tears, but Than didn't put up such effort. Slow tears trailed down his cheek, but he didn't sob or change his tone. Unless one looked at his eye they wouldn't even know he was crying*

*Than just chuckled a little at her response* ^^; I guess so. Just my habit. Well you've done a good job of finding me in the past sweatdrop No sense doubting that now. *He felt a little more secure now that she was smiling again, less worry on his mind* ^^; Proto's probably wondering what the heck's taking me so long. Least I've got a story or two to tell him on the way back >>; Mind helping me out? *Than turned towards the door slowly, Fenton now perching himself on his head*

*Than just grinned a little at Pet's reaction* Is he always so charming? *Than would have to walk a little slower, but at least he was walking. Eventually, in a few minutes or so, they'd be outside of the barrier. Than looked up to his familiar bot and smiled* Konbanwa, Proto-san

Proto: *Proto lets out a few happy beeps, seeing Than again. A few more beeps follow after the greeting*

Than: Hmm? *He looks down at his attire... which was still just undergarments* Oh that? sweatdrop Don't ask..... I'm glad it's you of all people that came to get me.

Proto: *nods and salutes Than in a familiar manner. He once again nodded to Kai before putting a hand on Than's shoulder*

Than: Oh... before I forget. Proto-san... this is Kaiori ^^; I think you might remember her

Proto: *nods to Than then looks to Kaiori, giving her a slight wave*

Than: Kaiori-chan... this is Proto. It's because of him that I was able to do anything at all while you were in the citadel ^^ He's talkative when you can understand him. *Than starts to move more towards Proto, slowly* If we have more time I'll introduce you again later ^^; but I better get going before zio starts talking again. *Than gave Kai a bright smile to go out on* I won't be gone too long ^^ Talk to you soon. *He nodded to both Kai and Pet once* Domou arigatou gozaimasu.....for taking care of me for the past week or so ^^

Than: ^^ hai. I'll try not to have as many scratches next time ^^; *behind him, Proto knelt down, allowing Than to get a firm grip on Proto's back. One of Proto's arms helped keep Than righted* Sayonara~ *Than's voice carried off a bit while Proto leapt into the air. While they flew into the distance, the other four followed suit. The night was quiet again*

*Than had taken the oppurtunity and left the citadel during the night, so that he would be elsewhere by morning. Now he could see the beginnings of Kai's forest. Than had left Fenton at the citadel for his own safety at the moment..... since he wasn't sure how long he'd be gone or what he'd do* Hnn..... I'm not ready just yet.... I still need more help. *Than walked up to the edge of the barrier. He'd come in hopes of finding Pet..... believing the dragon knew more of the temple and how to prepare should he go. Perhaps Pet would even be able to help directly. Than presses his hand against the barrier and lets his aura blanket his form, making his presence known*

*kaiori smiles and walks into her garden, Ceres had let her come home for today, but she wasn't allowed to go to BC, she bends over and picks a few flowers* lucky for me the sprites are around or else my garden would be nothing but grass and weeds *she laughs lightly and continues picking flowers*

*kaiori sighs and tumbles forwards onto the ground, who said she had to get the tea quickly? she would take her time for now, kaiori grips the grass at either side of her and with a hard shove from her right arm she flips on to her back, staring up at the tree's canopies she sighs, all the different shades of green seem to blend together, she rubs her temple slightly and closes her eyes* ya... this is why it sucks...to be weak and mortal*she whispers and relaxes in the cool grass hoping to ease the heat*
