☽ Emma didn't seem to wake up when Herald walked into the library despite his footsteps. One of her ears only twitched slightly and she turned on the couch. This caused the notebook and several of the books that were lying with her to fall on the ground. That was the thing that woke her. Several of the books were a bit bigger, creating rather large sounds as they hit the ground with the others. As soon as the books fell, Emma's ears shot up and she seemed to leap about an inch of the couch before landing back on it. She quickly spun around to look at what had caused the noise, a look of obvious surprise on her face as she stared down at the pile of books on the floor. Once she realized that she was fine, Emma made a face and groaned as she sat up and picked the books up, muttering a few choice words under her breath. She was still slightly out of it and hadn't noticed Herald was there. ☾

Never Again...Herald reached down past Emma and picked up the heavier books, placing them on the couch. "Doing a lot of work I see," he told her lightly. He reached down and put a hand on her cheek. "It will be fine. We'll work this out and have an amazing wedding. Don't stress yourself out so much." He gave her a smile as he spoke, hoping to help her relax. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma's ears twitched and she glanced up at Herald as he picked up several books and placed them on the couch. As he spoke about the wedding in an attempt to calm her, Emma smiled slightly "Right... I will do my best not to. I just still have no idea how some of this stuff works," she told him. She stared up at Herald for a moment before muffling a small laugh "How much training did you do today?" Emma asked as she sat there. ☾

Never Again...Herald kept his hand on Emma's cheek. "Nor I, but we'll figure it out." He smiled when she asked how long he'd been training. "Most of the day. I finally beat The Reaver in the simulation. But that was at his strength back when we last fought. I've no doubt that he's grown stronger since that time." Despite this he kept a smile, still proud that he had defeated him even if only in simulation. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma grinned up at Herald as she heard his accomplishment "Really? That's great! Congrats!" she told him. She took the notebook that she was writing everything with and quickly looked it over before she marked her spot and placed it on the table. "Did you learn any new abilities or have you just been improving your current ones?" she asked curiously. ☾

Never Again...Herald shook his head when Emma asked him if he learned bay new abilities. "I've been focusing on what I have now; making it more powerful than before." He cocked his head to the side slightly. "How about you? Have you managed to train any?" He asked. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma stretched slightly as Herald asked if she had trained at all. Her tail perked up and swayed as she shifted positions on the couch and sat criss cross. "I have... though not as much as I probably should. I have been busy with other stuff like reading... I managed to make up a couple more abilities though and my endurance has definitely boosted," Emma explained as she scratched one of her ears slightly. ☾

☽ Emma giggled as Herald picked her up. When asked about training in her third form, Emma nodded "I have. I still don't know a lot about that form so I have been training and also testing out what else I can do with it," she explained. ☾

☽ "You are sounding a little full of yourself right now," Emma said before Herald kissed her. She kissed him back for a moment or so before pulling back "I'd be careful if I were you. For all you know I could have discovered a trump card ability," she told him with a small smirk on her face. ☾

He seemed pretty confident though that was to be expected from him. "Besides, I'd never let you become stronger than me. I would be humiliated. ☽ Hearing Herald, Emma nodded. "Oh sure!" The overly exaggerated surprised expression on her face looked similar to some parent or teacher pretending to be fascinated with a 3 year olds very complicated and long story about some ants. Her expression hardened then. "I got it. I'm the girl here. My training might as well just be ten pushups and an hour long yoga session once a week while I let my seven foot tall muscular and very intimidating kishin boyfriend handle the big stuff. Gotcha. I guess I'll sit around in dresses from now on getting captured by baddies and yelling at you to save me. Don't want to ruin your ego or anything..." she said with a rather sarcastic tone. She wasn't bothered about the fact that every sparring match between the two resulted in Emma's defeat. She knew he was stronger than her power wise. What did bother her was what it felt like Herald was implying whenever his overconfidence began showing. And today she decided to point out what it sounded like instead of letting it slide. Especially now that she knew that he would feel humiliated if he ever lost to her. ☾
