Hey I um have a question. Now that my ranting is compleate. I would like to post a custom style I found and me being me I attempted to track down the original creator. Once I did I found that he had not been online for over a year, thus making his style freeware and not subject to coppyright laws. However the mod in charge of the custom styles wanted to speak with you before I go forward with it. What is your judgement on this?

Post at the fire temple so that I can post with Miho after you, Misuki sent her to help, but your Rpc will no doubt get there first since I ran a small errand for Misuki.
We can probably get the 15 posts done pretty easily.

Debating about politics is one thing, plotting, backstabbing, bribery and see the collapse of a ruling party and being replaced by yours is another >.< No where really has a system that is all about political movement and calculations because they are too complex really >.<

You can't do it on internet Rp not because of complexity, but because of met gaming.
Political movements are pretty simple, the hard part about it is what other people will do, and the reason it can't be done in this type of Rp is because people will meta game, and will have plenty of logical reason to do it, to hide the fact that there just meta gaming to win, and screw you over.

Well there is also the fact that there needs to be a system that can include things like how much land one owns and how much income your land generates so that way you can factor money into it, because money tends to be the driving factor behind just about anything. So you need to have some sort of economical system in place as well as way to go about conquering and defending land..so it does have to do both with complexity and meta-gaming imo but if everyone tried then meta-gaming wouldn't be as big a problem.

The grounds, lands, and defending is easy, other Rp games have already made a system for it, but politics are about lies and cheating, which are to easy to meta game, while hiding the fact you are in fact meta gaming.
Having land, and defending it is more of a mid evil army Rp, and probably take away from political aspects..
@ J3sus: Lulz, that is one of the games I thought about.

Well having land is the basis of having power and wealth and therefore land is important in political maneuvering on an international scale...I suppose instead of lands you just have smaller villages within each country that generate a certain level of wealth per week or so or something like that and then you could send shinobi to fight over them and things like that. And the games of Risk I have played..the Diplomacy and scheming that was going on was cut-throat...>.< Just ask Lance lol

Well if thats the case then you already have that here, and just want to make a Rpc focused on trying swaying there Kage to do things, by means of bribing, blackmail or assassination.
You could easily start a group, and play political aspects with what we have already, the problem is the time it will take to create a group strong enough to really do anything, so the problem doing that here is not one of complexity, but one of longevity, and finding Rpc's you can manipulate with money, or other forms of greed.

I used the money Miho got from her construction mission to buy her a new sword. Money systems are pretty basic, the problem with using currency as a bribing tool in Rp is people don't really care about it most of the time, so it makes it a pointless tool unless the group of people you Rp with want to have greedy Rpc's.
