Mala nodded. She tried to stand up straight, but the dizziness overwhelmed her. She leaned against the wall once more as she asked, "You aren't going to try and kill her on sight are you? Whichever we do depends entirely upon that."

"Riley's with her, she's fine." Van told her. "We'll go find them as soon as you've calmed down." he said.
((While taking my shower earlier, I realized there is a hilarious Ke$ha song parody that, if any of us had any decent video skills, Angel should be singing to Van. XD

{Lolol, if I had the MP3 I could prolly make a slideshow music video - but it'd more than likely end up having too much comedic overtone and end up with poor Angel looking like a sympathetic stalker. XD}
Mala, using the wall, walked over to Van. "Should one of us go check up on Riley, just in case?" she asked.

"Check on my baby!" Angel pleaded. "She needs to be okay! J-just leave me and go check on Jezebellun!" Her maternal instinct was blocking out all reason, especially the fact that she' want to kill Jezebellun until she was strong again.

"You go, I've still got the strength to keep her at bay." Van said as he looked over at Mala. "You going to be okay?" he asked, now understanding why she was so paranoid about him being Angel's blood doner before.

"Very well. See you when I get back, then." Mala said before heading off. She had a difficult time walking at first - but before long she got the hang of it. At least, she kind of did.

((My dining hall LIES!!! 8 o'clock closing time my a**! I just went down around 7 o'clock and most of the good stuff was already gone and shut down! ARRRGGHHH!!!  Of course, this let me have an excuse to have ice cream for dinner. )) Riley was still standing on the same street corner, slowly rocking his sleeping child now.

"Shh!" Riley hissed as he looked up from Jezebellum. "Took me what seemed like forever, but she finally fell asleep." he said looking back down at the baby in his arms.
((Soft serve ice cream almost on demand is a wonderful, wonderful thing.))

Mala smiled, inching her way forward a couple more feet so that she could speak softly to Riley and be heard. "Angel got worried and sent me to check on you. I don't think it's safe to show Jezebellum to her quite yet, but still."
