Nagisa unrolled the scroll and looked for a simple, yet useful skill. it didn't take long before she found it. Nagare Isou no Jutsu, a raw raiton skill, that doesnt use the showmanship as many other jutsus, and is less indipendant. Even so, it is strong, it allows you to charge your weapon or fists with raiton chakra. this raiton can give others a nasty zap if their weapon touches yours, or you get a good hit in. She practiced the seals and then reached over to grab her sword. this would deliver one heck of a charge "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" she announced, directing her raiton chakra into the blade of the sword. Nothing happened.

Letting out an audible sigh, Nagisa released the chakra into the blade. The tingling moved quickly from her hands to only those areas holding the sword. She looked at the blade, noticing no difference. There wouldnt be any reason for the electricity to be visible, she was running a current through the sword, not surrounding it with electricity. Looking around for something metal, she saw her greatsword once more. "I guess you'll get to help out after all!" she said cheerfully, as she tapped the swords together. A loud crack exploded the instant the two blades met, and sparks flew in all directions. Nagisa quickly moved the swords apart and deactivated the jutsu. This one could indeed prove useful.

Nagisa Aburame, looking up from the Raiton scroll she was reading, gave Sora a bright smile as she all but plowed through the young Jounin. "Hey Sora! just catching up on my Raiton ninjutsu. It has come to my attention that I am a bit to Genjutsu oriented. I have dozens of ways to stop someone in their tracks, or show them a painful death, but not so many ways of actually hitting someone." She glanced at her scroll once more before remembering something. "The chuunin exams are coming up, aren't they? are you going to participate?"

Nagisa's smile broadened as a chuckle escaped her lips. "Quiet down, you'll get me in trouble! I don't know any details, in fact the only reason I know about them are from rumors. You know how trustworthy rumors are correct?" she giggled. It was hard to keep a straight face when Sora was in this kind of a mood. She hoped that nothing would stop the girl's cheer. In the ninja world, however, she would hit something eventually. "If you want, I can teach you jutsu as I learn them, I just learned a particularly useful one"

Nagisa smiled. Once more, she performed the earlier jutsu. She did the handseals slowly and focused her chakra into her kodachi, this time holding it one handed. (the other still holding the scroll) "This is a pretty straightforward jutsu, 'Nagare Isou no Jutsu' lets you charge your fists or a metal weapon with your raiton chakra. When you hit a target, or even their weapon, it completes the circuit and effectively elecrocutes the target. I haven't gotten a chance to explore all the options yet." As she spoke she molded the chakra once more, and built up a large amount of electricity into the kodachi. As soon as she finished speaking, she swung the kodachi, and hit her greatsword. The kodachi that had looked normal before, hit the greatsword with a blinding flash of sparks. "give it a try"

Nagisa looked at the next jutsu she had picked out. "Heki no Jutsu- a defensive jutsu The shinobi vents electric chakra from his entire body, causing anyone that touches or attacks him to receive minor electrical shocks and burns. The shinobi cannot move while in this state. Let's give this one a try shall we?" Nagisa practiced the handseals several times to get them suitably memorized.

After memorizing the handseals Nagisa tried it once for real. Focusing her chakra throughout her skin, similar to the glow-in-the-dark jutsu, she gave it a try. "Heki no jutsu" Her skin glowed for a second, and then there was a loud zap. It was obvious that she had failed this round. Remember? this is raiton chakra. electricity doesn't work by staying still, you need to create a circuit so it continuously flows throughout your body. that's the only way you'd get it to work. Despite first appearances, this jutsu was indeed fairly different from the last.

Attacking the problem one final time, she performed the handseals and announced "Heki no jutsu" as she formed an electrical current along her skin. there was most certainly a tingling sensation, but there was noone to test it's potency. She certainly wouldnt ask Sora to test it. She could have a bug land on her, but she liked her bugs and didn't go out of her way to kill them. As she contemplated this, a leaf fell from the tree and landed on her shoulder before promptly zapping and catching fire. Moving quick, Nagisa brushed it off of her shoulder before turning back to Sora. "Allright, the goal is to create a flowing current along your skin, sounds simple enough. It might take a bit of work to distribute your chakra evenly and correctly."

Performing the seals for real this time, Nagisa looked up at the sky. "this one's going to be tough." She focused her chakra, her raiton chakra, and said the words "Raikou Jishaku no Jutsu" Thunder snarled from the skies, as a thick cloud began to form. it was a small cloud, thick but small. Almost laughable, that something that small could produce such a bone chilling rumble. Nagisa reached into her pocket and pulled out a small senbon needle, and threw it at the tree. It missed it's mark by a centimeter. when she looked up, the cloud was already dissipating. It was too small, and while it was rather strong it didn't last near as long as it should have. She would need to do a better job next time.
