Laurel helped Micha stagger into the hospital, and winced at the hospital smell. Micha hardly noticed it, since she had spent a lot of time in hospitals before. They walked up to the reception desk, and Laurel whispered into Micha's mind *Please...I can't...* Micha squeezed her twin's shoulder, and said softly "Please ma'am, I need to see a doctor." The receptionist jumped to her feet, seeing that Micha was wounded, and helped Laurel bring her to a room just off the main hall. "I'll have a doctor come see you kids soon, you stay put, okay?" Not waiting for an answer, the receptionist walked out of the room. *Kids? We're not five anymore...we're not little kids!* Micha looked offended. *Yeah, Mi, but she's a lot older than us too,* Laurel replied soothingly. They sat down on a bed in the room, waiting for the promised doctor to show up. It wasn't a long wait. An older woman doctor came bustling into the room, bringing an overbearing antiseptic smell with her that made Laurel gag. "Now, what's the problem with you girls?" Laurel giggled a little in Micha's head, and whispered *She sounds just like Gramma!* Trying not to laugh, Laurel said softly out loud, "It's my sister, ma'am. She's hurt. And she's got epilepsy, she almost had a seizure 'cause she didn't take her pills." Micha glared at her sister, and muttered "Traitor..." The doctor examined Micha's arm, pronouncing it "hardly life-threatening, but I'll put a bandage on it." She was much more comcerned about the seizure, and told Micha firmly that she was staying there overnight, then bandaged her arm tightly and left. Laurel sighed. She didn't want to leave her sister, but she didn't want to stay in the hospital either. Micha grinned at her. "I know you hate this place, sis. I'll be fine here, you g'wan and leave." Laurel gave her a grateful look, hugged her tightly, and fled. *I'll talk to you all the time,* she promised as she left the hospital.

Micha sat in the center of her bed, bored. "I'm just fine, why do I have to stay here?" She groaned, flopping onto her back. She was starting to worry about Laurel, since she hadn't heard anything from her the whole time. When the doctor bustled in to check on her, Micha put on her most angelic face, and said sweetly, "Please, Ma'am, can I please leave? I'm feeling fine now, and I did take my pill..." She trailed off, looking pleadingly at the doctor, who frowned for a minute, then said with a sigh, "Alright, go on, but come back later so I can have a look at you." *Yes! Lor, the doctor said I can go! I'm coming to find you now! Where are you?* *At the hotsprings,* came the hesitant reply. *Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes!* Micha skipped out the door, grinning happily.

Marcus smiled warmly at her, he was pretty sure she had heard, otherwise she wouldn't have blushed they she had. Hs eyes had caught her blush, even though it were for a few seconds, it was there and it was the one thing that made him certain that she was indeed the most beautiful girl in the land.

Gently he brought his head and whispered in her ear ever so softly, but still loud enough for her to hear him properely.

"My favourite place, the roof. You can see everything and it's a wonderous thing...like you"

Her simple smiles, yet shy replies made him determined to know her and break down her barriers that stopped anyone from getting to know her. He wanted to know why she was so guarded and what she was truly like as an invidual.
Bringing his head back his locked onto a small platform on the roof of the hospital, Most winged students flew to the top. It was natural, they prefered heights as it calmed then down. It was also true for marcus, but it also held a certain beauty to it that should be shown to the world.

His feet came closer to the platform, his heels connecting softly and gracefully with the smooth stone floor where he folded his wings neatly behind his back. It looked odd, A mesh of black and white tinted with red blood stains, yet it was something quite..ordinary amongst hybrids anyway.

Hlding onto Kamaria he gently let her feet touch the ground, though he stil held onto her shoulders, as he spun her round softly to show her the view.
"Well what do you think?"

Erika smiled softly, it was a true smile of how she was feeling. Guilty and sorry. She hated this feeling, she had never dealt with it before. Hurting those who hurt her or tried to have more than what she wanted in her life and use her, well it was easy and she never felt remorse. But hurting someone who was only trying to help and not hurt, well it was different.

The smiled left quickly as she gently focused on turning him on his side using her telekentics, so that she didn't hurt him more. She wanted to see the wound, she needed to.

There it was, covered in bandages was a long blood stain, dried. Taking a deep breath she sighed and let him lie down. She ahd wounded him rather badly. It was not her intention to do so.. Quickly she rubbed her arms and wondered over to the window where she stared otuside and apologised, her voice soft and low.

"I am truly sorry"

********************

Aegle thought for a moment, it was good that Spooks hadn't let Lamya scare her away or judged them both on Lamyas' actions alone. But how to explain Lamyas' existance was difficult.
Aegle chewed her lip and tapped her elbow before mumbling to Spooks.

"I dont know how to explain her, and perhaps here is not the place."

Then it her, thoguh her 'breed' were rare, the library had to have a book on it somewhere, otherwise they wouldn't know how to care for such a student. Smiling she took Spooks hand and chuckled as she tugged at her gently.

"Though the library may have a text on it somewhere..come on"

*************

In a quiet area of the hospital, where disinfectant was strongest. Lay a girl in total silence with excedingly long purple hair running of the bed. A pruple band around her eyes and a symbol inscribed onto her forehead. Bandages covered her upper torso, as that was were her injuries were worst. Six deep gashing harpy claw marks tore at her muscles and flesh, the blood ran quickly and in gallons as she was sped to the hospital wing.

But she was not the only one who was injured that day, the day of the star test. Dinah, her closest and most dearest friend was with fighting alongside her against two Harpies. Both fierce and out for blood, but it was Dinah who suffered most, in Sirens mind anyway.

Siren was dreaming of nothing, her mind was blank, she was simply trying to recupporate. Gather her strength, but she didn't want to, she wanted to be with Dinah. Dinah, it was the name she began to mumble silently in her sleep, her fingers twitching in pain as wires travelled out of her body.

"Dinah...Dinah"

It was silent, no one could hear her, and she for soem reason couldn't bring herself out of her sleep. A dark blanket had forced her down, forced her to sleep on, but she didn;t want to, she wanted to wake up! Flicking her fingers, the pain shot up through her hands, resulting in her bolting up right in pain, from both the fingers and the sudden backlashing movement from one position.

Breathing deeply, gasping from the pain, she tried to figure out where she was, But it didn't help that she could see nothing but darkness. All blank. Blindness was both her curse and a gift. Just now, it was a curse. Her breaths quivered, her head moving slowly, her ears trhing to recognise where she was, but it was difficult. She was weak and tired. Hopefully Dinah was ok...

Drops of blood dripped in a trail on the ground, seemingly with no source at all for a long time. There was a long trail of it leading from the woods towards campus and in front of the hospital. Saraneth's form slowly faded into view as she shed her invisibility illusion. Her aural presence returned to the world as she became fully visible. The strawberry red-head was in dismal shape. There were slashes and burns all over her body and her left forearm looked like it had been completely mutilated from the elbow down. It was barely recognizable as an arm... the flesh seemed to have started tearing itself apart at four distinct puncture marks. They looked like fang marks from some sort of beast, or maybe a vampire or a werewolf... something like that.

Saraneth stumbled into the doorway, breathing heavily and gritting her teeth against the pain. She had been way over her head, challenging the Gyrfalcon with her boyfriend as bait... apparently, baits that bite don't make good lure. All in all, it was Kira who had fought and defeated her. Important note to self: Learn combat magic, ASAP. Her golden-brown eyes skimmed the strange surroundings, not quite sure what to do. Before she could ask anyone where she could get any help, her knees buckled under her and she collapsed to the ground.

Just great... I come here with what's left of my dignity to look for help... and I lose the tiny shred that I have left... This is pathetic... utterly... ugh... NOT the most happiest of thoughts. Her vision was completely out of focus and spinning about. The furthest she could get up to was her knees, her entire body shaking with pain and the effort it required to keep her up. Okay... so maybe I DID overreach on that Kekkai spell... Double patheticness. Stupidity...

Marcus enterered through the hospitals mians doors, rubbing the back of his head and sighing as he did, that girl had certainly sent him for a tumble or two...perhaps three or four. However a simple fall and roll down a grassy hill wasn't enough to send Marcus to the hospital, no he needed to check in with the medical officials here on campus,to warn them of his condition and the things he had to do. However Marcus stopped walking so quickly as he noted the trail of blood on the ground.

Stooping over he touched it lightly with two fingers, it was fresh...beyond fresh someone had withing a ten minute time period left this blood here...they must have been seriously hurt. It trailed off around a small corner where he couldn't quite see, chances were someone had found the person this blood belonged too and were seeing to theirt care...fair enough. However as Marcus took about his thrid step closer it revealed the terriable. A girl, perhaps older than him perhaps not, crouched in the floor, torn to bits with cuts and injuries. Now Marcus was no doctor and by no means knew jack about medicen but he knew that is someone looked that bad it must have been serious.

In almost a flash he was standing next to her, coughing slightly as he did. He knew he wasn't supposed to use his spped for things such as a quick four step run but the situation called for it. He kneeled down next to her, no actually touching her for fear of hurting her more. "I know this may sound stupid miss but, are you alright?" he asked in his usual quiet and meek tone of voice.

Saraneth looked up, and couldn't help smiling through her gritted teeth. "You're damn right it's a stupid question..." She laughed a little, but only ended up wincing, holding a wound in her side. "Do I look alright?" She was a victim of humor... a giggling flower as her father liked to call her. Saraneth's greatest weakness was laughter. But that was out of the fight. In a battle, all her humor evaporated. Unfortuately... she wasn't beaten by humor this time. She was defeated by an S-shaped sword and her own stupidity.

"I'm just a little cut up... I'll just... go and get some bandages and stuff. I'll be okay." Saraneth coughed a little, and forced herself to stand up again. She couldn't absorb healing spells, period. It was an immunity to magic that cursed her for this. She couldn't be affected directly by magic. Which meant no hypnosis spells and no healing spells. Bummer for her. "I'm sure it'll be fine... I was stupid to start that fight in the first place... I was way in over my head..." She laughed again, a low, meaningless laugh.

"In fact... I think I deserved this... Yeah... heh..."

"No...you won't be okay....bandages can stop bleeding but can't fix things such as this..." he said lightly tapping her arm with one finger, digging his other hand into his pocket. His hand re-emerged with a tiny bottle of pills, one of four he kep on his person at all times, a warning lable could be seen but the tiny font couldn't be read from that distance. "Listen, these are some potent painkillers...there for my condition and everything but...you need one more than me right now" he said, shaking one tiny light Blue pill from the bottle, holding it in front of her face.

"And...you should know...nobody should ever be hurt...." he said, his voice returning to the low, quiet voice he started with. He really wasn't anti-social , he never felt he was good enough to live up to expectations...so he tried extra hard to do everything right, but failed because he tried to hard to impress people. He made sure she didn't fall over as he slipped the bottle into his pocket once more, still holding the pill in front of her. "Whatever happened.......I'll help"

Saraneth looked up with a hint of suspicion in her eyes… “Not to be rude… but would this thing… eh… poison me?” As she said that, a sudden wave of pain washed over her entire body and she felt like a wind had just blown salt into every inch of her wounds. “You know what… I might as well die…” Wincing, she took the pills he offered gratefully and promply took one. Her vision was so bad at the moment, she didn’t even bother to read the label. Not that she could even SEE a label on the bottle. Almost immediately, she felt complete relief. It was as if her wounds had been bathed in icy cold water and numbed, minus the icy coldness.

“You’re right… this is really potent… Thank you.” Saraneth smiled at him. Her face was a little cut up, so her smile wasn’t as nice as it used to be. How many people would think a smile is nice if the face smiling oozed blood while it smiled. She handed him the remaining bottle. “I shouldn’t get used to it… I might become dependent on it, mentally if not physically… You know what? I feel good! I can just coast on out of this place and-- oh… heh… right.” She caught sight of her blood on the ground. “Maybe not.” Her face suddenly turned serious. “If you want to stay safe… Please, don’t get involved in my fights. An assassin’s job is never simple… it might hurt you. You’ve helped me, and I don’t want you to get hurt.” Her golden-brown eyes were hard and wistful, as if there were things she wished she could change that could never be done. A streak of sorrow flashed through those eyes, but only for a moment. Saraneth gave him a large grin. “Besides, you’re cute! I have a really soft spot for cute guys!” She wasn’t joking.

Marcus had just finished closing the tiny pill bottle when the words 'cute' and 'you' were used in the same sentenct.......refering to him. Marcus seemed rather dazed at the comment, seeing as not a single person in his life had ever called him cute, let alone a girl! "Well I....I umm...i'm sorry, my life isn't simple either since two days ago when I started coming here....actually it never has been" he said in his quiet tone of voice, fiddling with his fingers nervously. "So maybe I'm not an experianced swordfighter....and maybe my own special gift kills me when I use it! I'll still help you......really" he said, his voice still low and timid.

At about this time he begain to cough again, however this time blood appeared in his hand when he covered his mouth...great, he had forgotten to take his pill. Turning around so that she couldn't see he wiped the blood on his pants and removed another pill bottle from his pocket. This time however a tiny Pink pill popped out when shaken...and he promptly swallowed. "Sorry....I have some medical problems as you can see" he said, still very quietly.

Saraneth listened to him with a quizzical expression... Strange. Sounded so much like her... and Gyrfalcon... and... EVERY OTHER MEMBER OF THIS INSTITUTION. From what she's seen, Ria Highschool is a home for the gifted and the unfortunate. Most of the students here suffered through some mistreatment or another, or from strange physical conditions and other such things... or both. She was just here on a job, and once she gets the money, she'll forget all about the abilities she was gifted with. As soon as she gets the reward for killing Gyrfalcon, she'll go home to Iowa, where she and her dad can live more peacefully, undebted and severed permanently from the supernatural world. Paradise.

She wasn't surprised when he started coughing blood... she had half expected it. Why the hell else would he be carrying potent pain killers around? "Eh... so I suppose we're both in the...eh... right place." She looked about at the hospital. "I will thank you very much for the painkiller. It's made my life so much easier today!" She began to walk away towards the front desk to request medical aid for her wounds when she remembered and suddenly swerved around. "Oh, and forgive my manners! My name is Saraneth, Sara for short. Some people call me the Kestrel. What's your--!"

Apparently, turning about and swerving at such high speeds wasn't so good for her yet. Blacking out didn't hurt. But it completely destroyed what dignity she had reserved remaining... Crud! Just when I was about to find out his name... life sucks...

Marcus dove in time to catch her from hitting the ground, however he hadn't managed to tell her his name before she passed out. It was kind of funny, well...that he was helping her anyways, normally he would have simply asked if they were alright and been on his way, but today something had compelled him to do otherwise. Picking her up he set her down on the gurny one of the Nurses had brought out, presumably to take her to someplace where her wounds could be treated more effectivly. However as they were leaving he asked them to stop for a moment, and removing a tiny book from his person he turned to a blank page and wrote a few words on the paper. "My name's Marcus Ivanwood, and...I'll see you around" the handwriting used wasn't the best, but it was readable. Telling the nurse to leave this note wth her he watched as they wheeled her off.

Marcus however still had his buisness to deal with, that instituted telling the staff here of his condition. Walking throught the stark white hallways he came to the offices of the department head from the general Hospital staff. "Excuse me...may I have a word?" he asked quietly as the Man motioned for him to enter and closed the door. Once inside Marcus explained his disorder. His muscles, thought gifted with increased movement and sterngth capaabilities required huge amounts of energy and food. Unfortunatly his bodys liver and filtering organs wern't powerful enough to effectivly remove that waste his muscles produce from his body is his abilities go overused. If he does overuse his speed the waste goes the only place it can, his blood...from ther is will build up untill he vomits it out for lack of ability to filter. After explaining all this the doctor and him shook hands, assuring Marcus that he wold be fine...yeah right.

Snow appeared with the others in the hospital. "He need a doctor! Or some sort of medical attention!" She exclaimed. She watched the other two leave, leaving the injured two there. Surion was still unconscience and Snow just had many wounds that were bleeding badly. "Come on Surion... I don't know what you did but dont do it again..." She whispered to the unconscience Surion. Snow wasn't strong enough to drag or take Snow anywhere. Her wounds were too deep.

There was little else Razzer could do now but wait. He hoped that Surion hadn't outdid himself too badly. It had taken a fair bit of Razzer's strength to teleport all three of them, and he slumped down against the wall and rested.

"Snow, are you alright?" he asked slowly. Surion was still laying unconcious on the bed of water Razzer had created, and Snow was bleeding pretty badly.

"Argh, where is that damn doctor?" he grumbled.

Snow looked up and smiled weakly. "Yeah... I'm OK..." She said softly. "I just hope that Surion is going to be... Thanks... You know... I never got your name." She said laughing lightly. She tehn glacned around the hospital wing, looking for someone around that could help them. "Is there anyone useful around here?" Snow asked, urgently. She was obviously getting a bit impatient... She loved Surion dearly, what else was she supposed to do!?

"Yeah... I'm OK..." Snow said, smiling weakly. "I just hope that Surion is going to be... Thanks... You know... I never got your name."

Razzer laughed. "I'm Razzer. I guess in all the commotion I forgot to tell you."

Just then a doctor finally came in. "My god, what took you so long?" Razzer asked. The doctor shot him a dirty look. Razzer deeply considered hitting him in the back of the head with a waterball, but decided against it. If there was more people to be treated it would only take longer for another doctor to come.

The doctor was soon followed by several nurses who came with a stretcher to lead Surion off. He was still laying unconcious, a small stream of drool mixed with blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. Another nurse approached Snow.

"I'll wait here." Razzer said to Snow, as the nurse reached out a hand to help her up.
