Aerclayr wondered if what he was hearing was just to be taken at face-value, or if the woman was, deep down, something other than a sarcastic imp.
"Do you have any good weapons, then?" He asked, hopefully searching for any reason of befriending this strange person. He still denied the base reason, refusing to recognize them. His past was his own... Vexis had not nor would she ever be a part of it.

"Hmm, depends...do natural offensive features count?" She asked curiously, demonstrating what she meant by making the razor-sharp bones in her arms pierce through her pale skin, now she just looked freakishly spiky. "Not exactly what most consider a weapon...but at least its something sharp to use when you have nothing else...basically like having claws I guess you could say..." Vexis watched as her claw type things came out again as well "Though of coarse, I have those, too, heh..."

Aerclayr nodded, impressed by that, at least. "You're like Wolverine, except better," he commented, referring to a Twentieth-century comic character that he had liked.
The mercenary turned back to the console, tracking their progress. "In Stealth mode the going isn't too fast... we'll be waiting for awhile, especially if our neighboring ship ((who still couldn't see them nor vice versa)) decides not to go straight into the atmosphere."
((This is to compensate for the fact that none of the Atlantians, mainly Nina or Jad who can move their half of the plot forward, are online right now.))

"I'm surprised a mere human would even know about that old comic series...at least I've been around for almost 2,000 years..." Vexis said for no apparent reason, then headed over to the nearest window to peek out. "Great...another few hours of happy happy fun time in this wonderful ship! And with you nonetheless!" Vexis muttered, extremely sarcastically. ~ ((Okay, since I'm terrible at making my characters explain things through RPing itself in detail, heres a little bit of info about the Synith race.
Syniths (pronounced like "Sin-ith") have long been a mystery to all that try to understand them, they're an alien species that appear human, most Syniths have neon pink or blue eyes, their hair color usually matches that of their eyes. One of the unique characteristics of these strange beings is their ability to separate their bodies into mere mist-like substance, and re-solidify on command. Synith structures are far different from that of humans, they have minimal bone mass and seemingly no blood veins. Special blade like bones in their arms and legs lie just very shallowly below the skin, these can pierce through the Synith's skin and be used as an offensive or defensive weapon. Strong as this race may seem, they have quite a few downsides to counteract their strengths. Cold climates seem to prevent a Synith's intangibility, it freezes their structural cells into solidity. Another strange thing about these people is their "Metamorphosis Phase", one day of each month this happens. No one is certain on what causes this reaction, but most have assumed that its related to the "Crimson Moon" that briefly appears just above Solias, then fades away a few hours later. The Syniths are not an extinct species/race, though they are quite close, only less than a few hundred still remain. They seem to have no set 'life span', they just exist until they can no longer defend themselves. Not much is known about their usual living habits, everyone just assumes that they live and survive like humans do.

((Cool. Although, you don't give yourself credit. From context clues in your writing, I could already discern all of this. But... I guess I'm more appreciable to detail than some people may be... ><))
Aerclayr snorted a laugh at the comment. "I'm not human," was all he replied, casually, though he was not making eye contact with Vexis. His attention was on the navigational console, and he was messing with the interface.

((Yeah, I mainly did that for the more...unobservant members of this RP...the ones who only skim-read posts xd ))
"You're a pretty lame alien, then. No special abilities, no odd behaviors...not even any natural defenses? Jeez...I dunno what I'd do if I couldn't do this!" Vexis just sunk into the metallic floor, phasing right through the ship's body. The misty figure floated in front of the windshield thing, apparently attempting to stick out her tongue teasingly at Aerclayr. She soon phased back into the ship, falling on her a** in the process of becoming solid again. "Ugh...can't believe I screwed that up!" She said frustratedly to herself, getting up from where she fell in the room.

Aerclayr continued to interact with the computer interface, his hands flying swiftly across the holographic keyboard. With a sidelong glance, he replied to Vexis, "I'm just half-human. My alien nature doesn't manifest itself naturally. Besides, what you say assumes that all non-humans have to be strong and mighty and powerful. Humans may be weak compared to some species, but many more aliens are more vulnerable than even humans. One subtle difference would be my bi-colored eyes," he said finally.
Then, after a pause, as an afterthought, Aerclayr added, "I am tougher than any human, of course. No matter how many times you knock me down, I won't stay there."
In this respect, Aerclayr was similar to his adversary, Marth. He might also be similar to Maggie in some ways... considering that it was partially their species' blood that coursed through his veins.

Vexis remained silent for a long while, she warily sat down in the corner furthest away from Aerclayr. Her expression held that of defeat, he was right after all -not all aliens were stronger than humans, nor do all races have special abilities like Syniths do. Vexis always grew very silent after being proved wrong, she hated, no, loathed being wrong. Though this time she wasn't quite as grumpy as she normally gets, she was almost more...paranoid and wary than anything. Vexis didn't know this person, nor did she have the right to sass and harass him. She actually almost wanted to admit defeat, for fear of triggering major aggression in Aerclayr other wise. Vexis would surely get her butt kicked if Aerclayr suddenly wanted to kill her, and she understood that. "I apologize for my rude behavior towards you...I just want to leave and go back home..." Vexis said quietly, a bit resigned.

Aerclayr finished his busy computations... whatever the heck he had actually been doing... and turned to face Vexis, leaning back on the console for support. "Uh... don't be. That kind of mushy/formal stuff weirds me out. Sarcastic and humor - that suits you, Vexis. I myself am more efficient, in manner... sorry if I unnerve you."
He just watched Vexis - he seemed to just be curiously content to do this. His two-toned eyes moved from time to time - sharp, creepy, calculating.
After a minute, he went to retrieve his gauntlet. He couldn't deny it to himself any longer - something about Vexis just completely unsettled him. Not in the bad way... just in a strange, inexplicable way. He felt like he had known her all his life, that she was his best friend, somehow. Of course he wouldn't voice these strange feelings - there was a reason why he felt this way, and Aerclayr needed to figure out the reason why.

Vexis kind of nervously laughed a bit, still wary of things. "Okaaaay....you don't have to tell me twice not to apologize!" Though her paranoia still existed, she was slowly coming back to her normal, sarcastic, joking, playful self. Vexis glanced down at her left arm, an odd birth mark shaped like a star sat happily on her shoulder. She closed her eyes briefly, letting out a sigh. 'I was entrusted with the power of the stars....Nomiko was given the power of the moon...the crimson moon...I haven't seen her since...she left to explore that moon, and never returned...' Vexis opened her eyes now, they dimly glowed with a blueish tint. Vexis looked out the window again, each star she saw pulsed with a kind of energy she'd only seen once before, each star glimmered with a unique glow, just as people each had different personalities. "The crimson moon...its faded, but not gone. Its mystery constantly claims new victims...even the very people gifted with it's power....betrayal..." Vexis seemed to be in an almost hypnotic trance, not even aware of what she was saying or doing.

((Okay, this is just an over-all type update of currently going on story arcs(SP?), I'm only going back to about page 122, not much before then.
~Update Of EPIC~
~The Atlantis~
Current location: Nearing the Sentinel System
Current objective: Helping Jad retrieve the stolen Pyresian ship "Ascendant Dragon"
-Character Plots-
Jad/Shina/The rest of their crew are currently just trying to find the remaining Pyresian ships, their main goal is to find The Jupiter, though they are currently trying to retrieve the "Ascendant Dragon" first due to close location, not much else has been revealed in this storyline as of yet.

Nina/Steve/all other Atlantis crew members seem to be just waiting around or something, Matthew seems to be training with Kryxel or something...(Not much interesting stuff going on...xD)

Damien/Rosa/Dr. Len/Rin/ect: Rosa had been acting strange recently, Damien discovered it was some odd program called "S.S.A.S -Strategic Self Adaptive System" that was previously locked away in Rosa's OS had been awakened somehow, Dr. Len and Rin have just been waiting around to go home -now happy to see Sentinel System as their currently set course.

~Sentinel System~
Current happenings: Trying to capture the intruders (Vexis and Aerclayr), building more androids (AKA: "Myna Units")
-Character Plots-
Dr. Erin/Dr. Jeremy/MAI/DAI/Kaito: The first MAI has been build as a test for the complete MAI model coming soon, apparently 7,680 Myna units are currently active as well, now Sentinel System is being uber busy with trying to stop the intruders AND locating Kaito with the Ascendant Dragon, Miku and Ren seem to have joined Kaito.
Layla/Vexis/Aerclayr: Vexis set off to hunt Layla, they got into a fight, Aerclayr was apparently captured in Sentinel and joined the fight (aiding Vexis, not Layla), they thought they killed Layla in an explosion, they stole her ship and took off towards the Atlantis, now they're currently just waiting for "The perfect chance to attack".
Thats about it....
