Kurai studied Kira for a short amount of time, then to Daisuke. Bak and forth, back and forth. She missed something, it was certain, that was probably on Kira's side. One often forgot the special abilities of another. Either that or it was just Kurai's bad memory. An arched eyebrow laid in place, a small smile on the corner of her lips. While Kurai swung her legs, she felt something she was sitting on, something very hard. Sliding her hand into the back pocket of her skirt [Yes there is such a thing], a cold tube of metal rolled around in the palm of her hand. A whistle. One Kurai hadn't used in a while. Laying her hands on her lap, Kurai gazed at the whistle, thinking, 'I'm not alone.'

Awai looked over the boulder "hmm no one in sight i guess" she thought, as she peered through the door, she saw kai at the corner of her eye, standing their staring at something [if he did that i'm not sure]" i didn't know he was this close" she thought as she quickly ran to the other side but tripped in the process making a big clopping sound "dang" she said quietly.

Daisuke looked to the whistle, only because it glimmered in the light and caught his attention. Why did she have a whistle? He cocked his head to the side again, eyes tracing over the objects edges.
Kai heard the thump, oh yes. He jumped slightly, though, thinking it was the black glob coming back to eat 'im. He turned quickly towards the sound, immediately seeing Awai lying on her face. A grin spread over his lips. He strutted over to her. [Yes, STRUTTED.] He idly kneeled down and poked her side.
"I found ya, so it seems." He chuckled. "The floor is an awful hiding area."

Kurai rolled it around a little more, studying it as if it was her first time seeing it. The metal felt cool against her now warm skin, a feeling she rather missed. Kurai brought up to her lips, only now realizing how cold it now was. For once in the past few hours, she felt like she had before. It rushed through her body; a feeling of being at home, a feeling of familiarity. Quietly, she exhaled causing a high pictched noise one her dear friend could, hopefully, hear.

Kai shook his head. "Akane does." He frowned. "... Wait a minute... HEY. Either way, I would've lost!" He mouthed an "O" for a bit in drama over-kill. He frowned again, though. "Mah crown." He pat-patted his head ornament. He stood up, offering Awai a hand to get up. "Yo, Akane!" He looked around a bit. "A finded Awai-chaaaaan~!" ... Just so Akane was aware. In case she wanted to come claim her daily prize, or stay completely quiet and let them hunt her out.
He looked down at Awai yet again. "You said you'd get mah crown for a day if one'a you won, right?" He then looked at her skeptically, "I love mah crown..." It was almost like a threat!

Daisuke watched as she blew into the object, and as no sound came out, his expression became confused. Was it broken? Was something lodged in it?
He shook his head, only for the purpose of 'fixing' his hair, making the longer pieces falling over the front of his shoulders. He flicked at a certain lock, one that was just a smidge longer than the rest. This was something he did when he was a bit nervous, or just feeling shy and embarrassed. So obviously this was something he did a lot.

"I know, I know." Kai groaned, almost like a teenager would at being told to clean their room or to pick up their trash. He thought over her first sentence. 'Whatever I want for a day. Hm.'
For some strange reason, he didn't feel like being mean about it. He didn't feel like being intentionally mean to any of these people, and he couldn't figure out why. Maybe it was because their practically his new family. Maybe it was because Kai was, deep down, a softy. ... No. Maybe he just felt the need to be nice every now and then.

[[Sorry about my absence! The team I'm helping out is rather pathetic and needs all teh help it can get]]
Kurai stared out the window, listening for any kind of response. Usually, Kin didn't give one anyway because it would let the enemy know something was really coming and it wasn't a fluke. The flute wasn't cold nor was it warm to Kurai, it seemed to have warmed up to her enough.
A familiar gliding noise came from nearby causing Kurai smile for real. Not liking the idea of having to buy Zetsu new window's if she decided to smash this one, Kurai watched the doors for any signs of her precious bird coming. Soon enough, Kin had arrived; barely missing Daisuke's head. Landing just beside her, his head slightly tilted almost asking her a question Kurai answered, "I'm as fine as I can be." Her voice was quiet, but not quiet enough to mask it from Kira or Daisuke. Softly and gently, Kin rubbed his head once against her leg and pulled back only to look at the unfamiliar Daisuke.
Akane stretched as much as she could. As of that moment, she was wrapped up like a burrito ready to go. It was comforting and comfy, but the game should be at least starting right about now, right?

[[ It's all right! ^ o^ I've been having fun with my Resident Evil 4 game, and looking up things about American McGee's Alice... >.>;; ]] "Uw, I suppose." Kai said, adding what sounded like a lisp, only slightly gay-er. It wasn't needed, Kai just felt like being mental for a second.
He looked down the corridor again, calling out in a singy-like tone, "Ohhhh, Akane~" He took a breath, and in the mean time lowered his voice, "Where areeee youuu~?"
Yeah, he can sing and at the same time be amazing. No, it doesn't make him gay at all! You silly, silly. Kai is too great to be gay. C: Daisuke smiled at the bird warmly, raising a hand up to wave lazily to it.
"Hello, there." He whispered timidly, lowering his hand. Surely the bird didn't need for him to be loud, right? Birds were sinsitive to hearing, that's why he came flying in at the soundless sound of Kurai's whistle.
He'd heard that birds didn't always like people. Hopefully the bird didn't feel a random notion to peck him in the face and choose to continually loathe him through his stay here.

Akane wiggled around in the comforter, just enough to stick the top half of her head out. She could hear her name all singy-songy, but did she really feel like replying? At the moment, no. Akane had just woken up from a ten minute or so nap and felt to lazy to do much of anything. Wiggling her way back down so she was fully covered, Akane put her back to the door, snuggling with the fluffy pillow.
Kin gave Kurai one more glance. This one was more for permission. But what right did Kurai have to give permission to Kin when she wasn't Daisuke? Perhaps he wanted a translator. Although, Kin's body language was fairly easy to read when he wanted others to know.
Without so much as a nod from Kurai, Kin was perched on her good shoulder and pushed off for flight. Gliding around Daisuke and then Kira, he began to evaluate the situation. Of course, Kira still had the demonic aura around her, but she couldn't help it. It wasn't something easily hid. Daisuke, on the other hand, didn't have evil written on his forehead like a lot of the other members. People who you couldn't tell were evil, usually came as more dangerous than most who could be told apart.
Kurai watched Kin, every out of place flap, every sudden turn, every little thing. Surely, it seemed the little bird was confused. Although, by now Kin should know how strange the people at Akatsuki were. Kurai figured he was coming in for a landing because of the angle he glided. Surely enough, she was right. Kin came for a landing only a couple of meters away from Daisuke. Just enough to come closer if Kin knew Daisuke wouldn't harm or vice versa.

[[Yeahhh, you should look it up. c: But only because I haven't played it, so I don't wanna screw up the storyline that I know nothing about. xD ]]
Kai walked somewhat slowly down the corridor, stopping every now and then to listen. Either listen to the other side of a door, or just to listen in general. Damn, not bein' all ninja about Hide 'n' Seek was pretty hard in such a huge freakin' base.
He started humming a bit, though he didn't recall which song. [ "I'm not Edible" - Chris Vrenna. c: Just because it's awesome and from A. McGee's Alice. xD ]
Daisuke looked over Kin quite a bit, unknowingly trying to understand him. He gave the bird a smaller, gentler smile. Not that he wasn't always gentle. He decided against trying to pet him so soon, so he just idly held his hand out.
He wasn't sure what for. Could be used as a place for Kin to land if he wanted to get any closer, could be used just for the fact of Kin knowing he wouldn't try to swat at him. It was kind of like that gesture you use on a dog, or a cat; so they can sniff you and somehow judge if they like you from that.
It's odd... animals, I mean.
