I think Gai may die later on in the manga... They've been gradually showing the celestial gates (currently on six or seven) so I'm assuming sooner or later, Kishi'll pop out the last gate...

I think the most they've shown is six when Gai faced Kisame. Gai might die... but the only way I can see it happening is while he faces Kisame.
I was kinda sad about Saratobi dieing.... Jiriaya is already as good as dead I bet and well, we all know Tsunade is going to die.
By the way the background being Genjutsu wasn't atcualy in the shows. rofl sweatdrop

It's so sad though. Kishi has no respect for the elderly. Hell, Sarutobi even got punched in the face. ~_~; But yes, it is hinted that Jiraiya and Tsunade will die together. There had been a feeling when Orochimaru was gone that the three sannins would not last long without each other... crying *sigh*

I have a feeling Tsunade will not die with Jiriaya. They never did in legend either. Jiriaya will die form Pein and Tsunade defending Naruto from somthing because she can't allow him to die after giving him that charm. Also with the way the village is going they might try and turn on Naruto... Does anyone have the feeling Tobi isn't really Midara? Hmmm or maybe he is but how does he get his imortality?

I'm sorry but I still believe the crackpot theory Tobi is Obito but with his body somehow taken over by Madara. Perhaps Obito was Madara's reincarnation to begin with?

The translation I read was that Tobi referred to himself as possessing Madara's power. That could just be a pun, considering Madara was the Uchiha ancestor. I mean, comeon, Tobi HAS to be Obito. He has one eye! Armor on one side of his body! A mask! Argggghh!

I think Tsunade will live. Jiraya is totally dead though.
And I was going for a Jiraya feel for my entrance. That said, Snowmane is the Neji to Hatchi's Gai.
