You know, I realized I don't often really get to play Godfrey actually acting like a kid. Most of the time he acts older than he is. XD
Ah... well... he's not acting like a kid so much as a teenager with horrible moodswings. Hm... I remember those. biggrin In fact, I had one just this morning. XD
'DONT ASK ME THINGS! I JUST WOKE UP! I DON'T CARE! WHATEVER!'
And- 'I'M ON THE COMPUTER! IM NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE TV! I DON'T CARE WHAT'S ON IT!'
XD My mom asks me if she wants me to leave it on HGTV when she goes to take a nap or whatever, and I'm like 'I DONT FREAKING CARE!' XD
------------------------
biggrin Yay for spamming up the roleplay thread. But sort of not really. <3
Awww...... razz If he really likes you though, he'll understand your awkwardness with kissing and the like. :B And..
Janine..
THAT IS SO FREAKING CUTE!!!! <3<3<3 'His glasses hit my face and I was ahlf-asleep and really embarrassed and we talked about trying it again for an hour'
XD OMFG ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *SQUISHES YOU*
D: It's bad for me to find adorable amusement from your awkwardness though, isn't it?

*Snuggles Godfrey and Cassy*
Gilderoy should so try to pounce Harry after dinner XD He tells Godfrey to go outside for a bit, then advances on Harry all like "purr~" rofl I'm looking forward to torturing Harry. 3nodding heart Even moreso. XD

biggrin I think Godfrey got his Treehouse when he was eight, for hsi birthday. Maybe Adela got her greenhouse that year too?
And he definitely got Bernard for a birthday or christmas, maybe when he was eight/nine. xD
And he got his recipe book when he was SIX.
This is the recipe book:
It's very large, two feet long and a foot and a half wide. It's bound in leather but it's a bit worn by now.
It is magical, and contains every single recipe Godfrey has ever written down in it (It has to be written by hand)
It's coolb ecause when you first open the book and get past the title page, you have the option of looking through every page OR using the magical index. ^_^ What you do is select the main ingredient. And then you select a few other ingredients, and then when you flip the page, it will show only the recipes that can be made with all or most of those ingredients!
It's cool because if you've got chicken and a few other thigns but dont' know what you want to make specifically, you can choose from a lot of recipes. IT also has tons of photos, because once Godfrey's made a meal, he'll take a picture of it, develop it, and stick it in the book for reference. ^_^
So it's just uber neat. biggrin But it's sooo big now he has a hard time lifting it. :B
^_^ :B

razz Naw. Seems just like you needed a bit of a break. ^_^
razz I don't help too much though, I'm feeling a bit awkward trying to think of how Harry should act...
I've got him stuck in awkward fifteen year old mode. XD

You are so thoughtful. ^_^
I have that problem with mine. So I compromised with myself and let him act like a stupid teenager under the excuse of "marrying Ginny stunted his social and mental growth." Seriously, the man goes out dancing with his youngest son. Grow up, Harry, for realz. talk2hand xd

Omfgsocute. <3

I like your harry though, he's grumpy, BUT SEXY. biggrin My harry is so girly. ^_^ He's just kind of mother/dadish. razz
emo Godfrey wishes his dad would take him out dancing. D:

I think I'm goign to amke Micheal a Ministry-appointed lawyer for people who can't afford to ahve one.
Except he isn't all fidgety and nervous and suck, but rather good.
Micheal spent nearly 20 years in Azkaban, and was about 20 when arrested.
I'm still not sure if he would have had the dark mark or not. Would he have been too young?
But I know his Father was a Death Eater, but was killed.
He was wrongly convicted of raping and cruelly murdering his 16 year old fiancee. (It was actually some Aurors, who are likely all dead now, if that's alright) .... and of being a Death Eater or associating with one, or with Death Eaters. So sort of an unfortunate scapegoat, but he would have become a Death eater, or was and had done something, but likely not anything major.
razz Nothing involving sex though, because I've always seen Micheal as a 40 year old Virgin...
Um...... I think maybe I'll have that he has a kid though, and take something from the DECAA that's that he signed a contract with a woman to produce a son. .... how old is this world's harry? 34? 18 plus 16 (James' age) .... at least 34. razz So the kid might be 11.... I sort of see him as a quiet little Slytherin kid.
xD But he's still a virgin, because no actual contact was required to make the baby, and then he paid the woman afterwards, or she died in childbirth and he paid compensation and then basically barred them from ever speaking to him again.
adn he did this legally, because he's a pretty good lawyer.
You already said it'd be okay if he was involved with the making of the laws for travelers, right Naz? O_o I figure he was a good lawyer, he'd been given another trial and proven innocent, and the Ministry was looking to save face a bit so involved him sort of as a 'Look! We've got a wrongly convicted Death Eater helping us out with this, aren't we changing? biggrin '
Or maybe not.
Anyways, he's a ... 50-something year old virgin with an 11 year old son, who is a lawyer that makes very little money but doesn't need it because he's loaded.
But he shares his fortune and his house (the house is literally divided in half, decoration wise) through legal obligation with his half-brother Samuel, who is his brother through his mother. biggrin
And I would really like Samuel to work in the regulation of magical creatures department.
He specializes in the really big, and/or really weird stuff. Like gigantic telepathic worms and huge, purposefully/illegally created magical thingies. biggrin
Blahblahblah. Anyways, updated his profile. Micheal's pretty boring. But he's also LEGALLY sneaky. biggrin Yay exploitation of laws!

*Snuggles Michael and his son*
Yes, he can certainly have the credit for working with them on it. Hell, if you wanted, you could create a sticky with him on the matter (including that bill of rights you wrote up) with some information on travelers and the related laws. I'm going to have to make several stickies for the Ministry anyway, and one on travelers and how they get here is one of them. whee But I'll do it if you're not interested. <3 I just like the idea of having characters host information stickies.
EDIT: OR IT COULD BE A JOINT EFFORT. X3 I wanted to make another Ministry character anyway... XP
The only characters of mine working in the Ministry on creatures are Luna, Rolf, and Eldred, and they're all in research. X3 So actual, like, regulation officers are certainly an appreciated addition. heart

biggrin Actually I would love to have a go at making a sticky, Naz!
*Skips off gleefully*
SWEET. biggrin
A JOINT EFFORT WOULD BE AWESOME! 8D You have a lot more experience anyways at how things should be set up, so it'd be fun to work together. biggrin
*Dancdance*
Yeah? Cool! Sam's pretty energetic.... er... and enthusiastic. He'd have fun lopping off heads..... XD

xD *Must think of proper title*
And I'm getting a bit sidetracked at thinking of makign a mock-up of the long, intimidating slabs of stone on the walls of the section of the ministry that deals with travelers. xD I think the room is like, tall, and sort of dark and intimidating, giving the ministry/new world a sort of..... feeling of strength?
:B AND ACE OF CAKES IS ON AND THEY HAV EA LOST CAKE!
SO BRB.

I'd like to set it up just like someone behind a desk is giving you the information though. biggrin
That'd be cool. ^_^
-----
razz Okay, I'm being entirely presumptive......
but I think the first thing they do is stun a traveler, remove all their possessions for inspection, clean them of contaminations, and then put them in a room to wake up from, giving them ministry regulated clothes/robes for the mean time. (Maybe there's a specialized team of Healers with curse/strange magic training (Maybe DEPT of Mystery types) who deal with incoming travelers)
And then a voice comes over the speakers or out of nowhere and tells the person to proceed out the door and down the hall to a reception desk. Aaand then it sort of goes on with a feel of you being an actual traveler being informed of things. biggrin
Yeah? IDEAS? biggrin
-----
Oh, and what's the Traveler department called? Aaaand- is the bill of rights a wizarding-world wide thing, or a British Ministry specific type of thing? As each country ahs their own laws/stuff regarding Travelers?

I guess they would if the Ministry were immediately alerted of their appearance.. but since most are the result of independent events (potions accidents, spell accidents, walking out of closets, etc) I'm not sure it would run the same for each of them. Trying to knock out a newly appeared, fully alert and alarmed wizard because he appeared in a burst of smoke from a cauldron wouldn't be an easy task. xp Not to mention it complicates roleplaying that type of character when it's supposed to make it easier for new members to introduce a AU character with little fuss.
I can see it for violent cases, though. Disoriented and risky Travelers would certainly have to be dealt with through rougher means. 3nodding Especially if they assumed that said Traveler could be contaminated with something. (Though Brits are so damned calm about things like that. I've been trying to study that culture more, and videos from some of their London crisis stuff make me want to hit Americans over the head for freaking out all the time. 'The subway could be contaminated with a poisonous substance, please leave the area.' 'Oh - alright, thanks then. I've got to phone the office, tell them I'll be late. Anything we can do to help?')
Department name? Hmmm. It might actually be a subsection of one of the revised floors I created. xp I rewrote the Ministry to handle everything involving magical citizens - in the past ten years, they've started ignoring the British Ministry almost entirely, because the MoM has evolved to mirror it and provide for the unique needs of the magical community (with all their old departments.) So the Traveler department is probably included in the Department for Wizarding Citizens - they handle everything related to birth/death records, voting registration, taxes, welfare, etc etc.
