Arlen scooted himself closer to the fire, careful not to let the blanket drop and reveal something it shouldn't.
Lady Crystal smiled. "May I come in then?" she asked catiously.

Tomo smiled, then became interested in the man. He perked his ears and watched him. "You're a friend of Cerri's?" He asked, tail swaying curiously.

ukaia looked puzzled. That neko? However the expression turned to one of what the HELL upon seeing lily. Why on earth was she so.. well.. dressed up. For a friend of Cerri's?
"Um.. THanks" She said uncertinally still staring at lily.

Richard blinked. "Oh! Yes, of course, if you so wished it My Lady." He said, turning and going in himself. He picked up the stack of books, not wanting them to be in her way. His room was rather empty really, several older texts here and there, his shirts and ties hanging in the open closet, but mostly notes. There were notes everywhere. "It's not fit for someone of your stature I;m sure..." He said, giving the room a pleased look. "But it serves my purposes well enough."

"Friend is not the term I'd use." Bard answered, giving a soft laugh to Tomo. Seeing Ukaia's look, he grinned and shook his head. "I've heard a lot of good things about you is all..." Then he turned to look at Lily, and he stilled completely, blinking. Then his eyes narrowed and he stood, jamming his hands in his pockets as he ambled over to her. "You... look a bit like her... but you're too old to be hers. Right?" he asked, rather gruffly.
"Right." Lily agreed hastily, blushing a bit. "We are related though... distantly." Finally, she snapped out of her wide-eyed and rather obvious adoration of the man and glanced around, frowning when she saw Arlen. "Do you want some hot chocolate?" she asked, including Bard in the question.

Ukaia looked back at him
"I'm glad.. i think" she saidto him offering a tenative smile. Right.. how.. odd. very very odd. She was awake right? She pinched her arm. OW.. yep.. awake. so.. what's with the odd dress on lily..
She shook her head lighlty and then walked into the kitchen confused.

"I think it is wonderful," Lady Crystal said, admiring the room. She wanted to look over Richard's notes, but that would be terribly rude of her and some of them might be confidential that he had left out by accident.
"Lily?" Arlen asked, sniffling. She looked, nice, but he had never seen her get so made up before, and somthign about how she acted towards the newcomer made him uneasy. "Yes please," he said at the offered hot chocolate.

A duck fluttered down the stairs and landed on the floor with a 'plop'.

((I really don't think ducks are supposed to "plop" unless they are squishy or something.. wich is a really yucky mental image >.<))
Ukaia began hot water for Tea and Hot chocolate. Tea sounded more appeling to her right now

Lily smiled and blew a kiss to Arlen, then turned to look at the duck, blinking. "Who... I'll find out later." she decided aloud, then sent a rather shy look to Bard, cheeks darkening again as she dashed for the kitchen, trilling softly.
"Yeah. I guess." Bard answered, blinking a bit as he watched after her. Then he shook his head and settled on one of the couches, shooting a glance at Arlen before he looked at the flames, thinking.

Trina eyed the strange creature oddly, not sure what on earth it was. It felt familiar though...Wait..."Er...excuse me..." She said to the feathered object, about to ask it if it was alright. ((*Cracks up*))
Richard smiled at her, then seemed to realize the state of his own attire. He straightened his shirt and rebuttoned the cuffs after rolling them down, patting his tie flat on his chest again. After that, he was presentable again, no longer looking the absent minded scholar. "So, have you need of anything Mi'lady? Perhaps something from downstairs?" He had left the door open intentionally, preserving her reputation as best as he could. She may have seemed to not care, but he would do no harm to it. "Or have you questions about anything?"

((Well, their feet make a 'flack flack' noise sometimes, teemed with a 'whump' of feathers. It was 'plop'ish... ))
Tomo arched an eyebrow at the water fowl and bent down, "Are you okay, ducky-san?" He asked it, picking it up and setting it on the floor so it could walk around.

((Squee arlen's all dressed up!! He's pretty he looks bishi!!!! * cuddles him purring* and really? i always thought it was more of a slapping noise for there feet.. and the feathers were quiet.. or made flapping sounds))

"I merely desired to share your company again," she said, looking about for someplace to sit, thinking it a bad idea to sit on the bed. "Is there anything I could do for you?"
Arlen looked the man over and returned to warming himself, wishing he had some clean clothes underneath the blanket.
