*Glances over at Michi, who being conspicuously inconspicuous, makes eye contact with her and lifts her eyebrows suggestively, not wanting to call her out.*
Cross: No, I won't let you forget. *Small smile of agreement.* In fact I'll probably ingrain it into your head so deeply that you'll never want to be injured again just to avoid the annoyance of me waiting on you. *Averts her eyes a little, trying to resist the urge to take the cigarette.* So perhaps... you should just ask me to do something, so I'll be sated for a little bit and stop harassing you.
Or... perhaps I'll just have to surprise you with something you like. *Shrugs her shoulders a little bit, wondering for a moment if she's being kind mostly because she knows that she has the inevitable responsibility of telling him what's gone on between her and Lavi, and her stomach drops thinking about it...*
Speaking of... we uhm... when you're feeling much better, I need to talk to you about something... *Sends a very short sideways glance at Lavi, feeling like that's the only way she'll get support at the moment...*

Ah, I suspected as much, since you weren't really around in the later days. *Relieved it wasn't her annoyance the last time they met that had kept him away from the group*

*Eyes the offered cigarette, and was just about to take it when Anita's gasp distracts her, making her withdraw her hand. Notes by Anita's reaction that it seemed she hadn't found out about Cross's injuries yet, at least until right then.*
H-hi Anita. *Lifts hand and waves at her weakly.* Ah... It can wait, that... thing... later... *Hurriedly stuffs her hands in her pockets feeling her heart beating in her ears and the very noticeable need to not want to be in the room at the moment.* I'll uhm... go make you a surprise, okay? Just relax and don't get into any trouble.
*Turns on heel and gives Lavi a noticeably nervous look before heading off to the kitchen, planning on making a treat she knows that Cross is rather fond of, taking a long deep breath once she's in there to calm her nerves.*

Do you... want me to tell him? -Doesn't think he'd be much less nervous about it than her, and it would probably be better if he heard it from her, but feels like he should offer anyway.-
