Liv: *Nods solemnly, remembering the rest as she goes along* Yes. Now, the black dragon was intelligent, so he could guess what was about to happen when he saw his fellow dragons flying in a black cloud towards his den, and the humans mirroring them on the ground with their flamming torches. He had grown lonely and weary in all the years he had been alive, and yet, he could have flown to the furthest reaches of the planet to escape his fate.

((TOOOOOTHLESSSSSSSSSSSSSS. *Writhes.* Cutest dragon ever. Kiah, I demand you rent that movie immediately ;-; LOL. ))

*Goes quiet for a moment, thoughtful, recounting all of the things that happened since he had been gone, and even though she feels the slightest gnawing of guilt in her stomach she can't help but feel happy from the outcome of their 'vacation' and what happened with Lavi.* Yes, I did actually... I really needed the break I suppose. *Smiles a little bit.* It was a nice change of pace... and... it gave me new perspective on some things... New year, new life... New love for both of us...

*Clears her throat gently.* Were you too occupied to enjoy New Years, isshou?

(( OH YEAH!!!!!!! TOOTHLESS!!! I watched that movie last year and I've been wanting to buy it because I'm pretty sure I was busy when it was on... ))

Liv: The black dragon remained in his den, knowing the procession was moving closer and closer, bowing his head in acceptance. They both seemed to arrive at the same time, humans and dragons united in a single goal, and attacked the great beast. The dragons bit, tore, and sliced while the humans stabbed, ripped, and bruised. Throughout it all, the black dragon remained motionless, letting all of the blows rain down upon him until he could no longer sit up. Once both groups felt they had done enough damage, they surveyed the area, seeing no fallen allies. Utterly confused, they stared at the dragon that never fought back. With his last dying breath, he spoke.

(( THIS IS A REALLY FRICKING SAD BED TIME STORY. WTF. T______T

Also, Toothless is ******** amazing. One of my cats, I kid you not, acts EXACTLY like toothless....and she's black, with long fur and big yellow eyes. : I ))

Well, speaking of work I guess I should do something tonight. *Tries not to chew her lip, knowing it's one of her tells for nervousness, though a little tension makes its way into her lips.* If you need anything you know where to find me. *Tries to smile at him, though it's very hard to look at him the way he is right now, feeling all kinds of conflicted in the face of his injuries.* I mean... if you need anything at all... Don't hesitate, Isshou.

*Heads off towards the door, sending a very brief glance back before disappearing out into the corridors.*

I know he is! He's super cute too! Your cat must be pretty awesome! : D ))

Liv: "To those who would be my slayers, I wish for you to hear and remember my words. All things must be balanced and respected in this world. My foolish brethren, you would terrorize humans and repeatedly kill their kind in cold blood and not expect any consequences in return?" He then turned to the humans who wrongfully punished him. "You humans are no better. Killing based on appearances, and because of something you don't understand. The dragon's weakness may be their rage, but yours is your prejudice."

Finally, he passed on his last message. "Realize this; my time has come to die and return to the earth, nurishing it for those who eat the grass and who feed you. But there will come another who will take my place, and I would hope that you remember and dwell on what I say." With that, he collapsed to the ground, never to move again. The dragons and humans, regretting what they did, decided to incinerate his body and spread his ashes all across the land, hoping that would right their wrong. They decided to pass this story on to others, in hopes that they would hear the message behind it and never make the same mistakes that ended an innocent life.

(( Hmm... I don't like the ending... Sorry it took so long.
