 All the guards were killed except one who was badly injured. He was about to attack again when a sword when through his back and out his chest as he died.
"Useless guards. They can't even get rid of one person." Tokiko's father said as he pulled the sword out of the guard. "What do you want boy?"

the three remaining pirates closed in on Tye and started to attack him simultaniously. he managed to block a few shots, but was nipped just barely on his right shoulder. this slightly screwed up his sword arm. he managed to take out another pirate, but the other two seemed to just keep comming. he jumbed back a few times so he could rest a little.
John used the body three times as oncomming knives came at him from three directions. he managed to get himself surrounded. he quickly spun around with his blade out and cut two of their crotches. they fell as an emence pain sored through their bodies. John put them out with a quick slash of the blade to their necks. he jumped back and blocked another knife with his 'shield'.
"we don't think of you as a girl, moreso an enemy."
they continued to slash at her, slowly pushing her towards a corner.

Kysha continued dodging the slashes "An enemy huh" she asked, she didn't realize that she was being pushed towards a corner, her mind still seemed to be distracted over what Tye had written to her.

"You know what I'm talking about. The antidote for the poison you somehow gave Tokiko. Why else would I come to this dump?" Superio said.

He smirked. "Now why would I have an antidote if I want her to die?" He said.

"Fine then. A cure or a spell then. Just tell me how to make Tokiko better or else you join your P.O.S guards here in hell." Superio said.

Just after he jumped back, one of the pirates fell off-foot with the other and attacked alone. Tye took advantage of the mishap and shoved his rapier into his skull. the next would be easy picking, so Tye thought. just after he killed the one, more pirates jumped down onto their boat. there were now seven of them. Tye grimaced as he started to back into the cabin.
John landed on the boat's top deck as it was easily smaller than the other one. he quickly put the only three pirates to rest as they were all distracted with looking at the boat Kysha was on, waiting for the event of the explosion. from there, it was easy to blow the ship and charge to the next one.
all of the pirates started to see her distraction and started to force her into the corner faster. they kept a good long steady beat of swishing blades and knives.
"You'll not win! we have you out numbered, and all of us could easily outmatch you! how you're supposed to be the threat, i don't know."

Kysha felt the wall against her back "s**t...." she muttered to herself "I will beat you" she said with bravado.

Tokiko's mother was hiding behind a building, watching the two of them.

Tye came into the cabin and waited for the pirates to follow. when they came, they'd have to come in one at a time in order to fit. he would easily take them all out, one by god-damned one.
john came to the next and looked back to see what he thought was three ships he had gotten rid of. he couldn't remember if there were more. he whipped back around and decided that he could go faster if he could just kill all of the pirates with his small amount of magic knowledge he had. he used a fire spell to burn all of the pirates on the lower deck and set the crate on fire and headed to the next ship.
one of the pirates stopped, making all the rest stop.
"perhaps you havn't noticed, but you've been backed to a corner. perhaps there is a... better way we could end this, eh?" he looked around at all the pirates who, at once, started to laugh, but still kept an eye on here in case of any movement.
the biggest one leaned in close to her.
"what might you think that is?"
