Sil: -smiles a little, still finding something "interesting" to look at in the other direction- I know, Sil. You never let it happen. I'm sure you'll be there at every physical therapy session. -small chuckle-

(( I'm good! : D
One of my friends has done a few. I think she does really good, but I'm pretty biased. : P ))
Liv: I know, but I'd hate to get inbetween them. *Uncovers her eyes and smiles a bit* Besides, I really don't need to leave anytime soon.

*Smiles a little sadly.* Well, I've never really seen you in pain... but I have to imagine if you're anything like you are normally someone has to stop you from putting a nurse through a wall and hand you booze afterwards. *Hint of a tease in her voice, wondering why he won't look at her...*

Sil: -scoff- I can handle it just fine. Physical pain is easy to put from your mind.

Liv: *Stiffens a bit before relaxing, hearing Liv yawn from right next to her* Haha you sound tired. *Whispers a bit teasingly*

That's not how I remember physical therapy... *Flaps her hand a little, as if she's being a little dismissive.* It's just a man thing. I bet you'll still want the booze no matter what you say.

*Genuinely smiles at how seriously he said that sentence, laughing a little bit.* There, I'm designated booze bringer then, if anything... *Moves over to sit carefully on the arm of his throne, not wanting to jar any part of him.* Did anything good at least come out of your trip...?

Sil: -adjusts himself a bit- Luckily I retrieved what I had to before the incident, but it's only a small victory. -puffs on his cigarette-

Liv: *Gains a thoughtful expression on her face, trying to remember a good bedtime story* I was never very good at this... Once upon a time, in a land where everything was simple, in not barbaric, there lived a lonely dragon. Now this dragon was different from the mindless beasts that feasted on the farmers livestock (or the farmers themselves). This dragon was much bigger, more than twice the size of a regular dragon, with a huge heart to match. See, he loved all of the creatures that inhabited the earth, and remembered all of the poor animals that, although unwillingly, gave up their lives to sustain him.
(( ... I feel like this is an actual story, but at the same time I'm making it up... ))

A small victory is better than none. *Smiles a little bit, trying to hold onto the new sense of optimism she's been trying to hold onto lately, tired of holding on so tightly to realism...* Right?

(( Is it? : O ))
Liv: Not exactly... He was a frightening black dragon with giant, poisonous fangs, razor-sharp claws, and piercing red eyes. All of the humans thought he was a monstrous sight, and mistook him for the smaller dragons who continually wreaked havoc on their lives. On the other end, all of the dragons were riddled with anger at him, as he occationally took down those of his own kind to feed on. They thought he favored the humans and stayed away from their homes in order to keep them happy. Both sides decided one day to kill the black dragon, believing that their race would be safe once he was gone.
