Lavi and Liv: -makes his way to his throne with some effort, and eases himself down onto the seat- I ran into a bit of trouble on my trip... -winces as he lifts his obviously broken leg up onto a short footstool-

-Frowns and gets up to go to the kitchen, returning with another cup of steaming cocoa and holds it out to Cross.- Well... Welcome home. -Doesn't really want to think about what exactly happened, if Cross of all people ended up this way.-

Liv: It was only a small surgery...and a couple months of physical therapy when I heal up. -conveniently leaves out how he came by his injuries and lights up a cigarette-

Liv: A few days ago. I didn't want everyone coming to the infirmary. I should be there still but I don't care to sit in bed and be fussed over. It was only a small surgery, just had some tears repaired.

Liv: It's a good thing she didn't come with me, or else this may have been her instead of me. I couldn't let that happen again.
