Yoshi and I both want to know why the hell not. We think it's pretty clear that you need to see a doctor, Never. Besides, didn't your mom say she'd take you?

I'd say just go now, just in case it is something worse. And when does she consider soon? 'Cause a sprain takes a week or so to heal, maybe even a bit longer if you are using your foot.

Good idea. And I hope that, whichever it is, you get it fixed up soon.

I urge you look at this rationally. Though emotion may drive one to scream. "OH NO! HOSPITAL QUICK!" There are things that need to be considered.
First of all, in Shingo's parents defense, many of you are too young to understand the costs involved with hospitals, even myself do not yet know exactly how much one can be run. I am only aware that it hurts the wallet, sometimes for no reason. Shingo's parents may not want to just waltz him in there, just to see that it is just a sprain, and have to pay for it just the same. Such costs can be a wasteful detriment, should Shingo's problem not be as bad as it could be.
Secondly, it would be a very rational thought to look into symptoms of a sprain, versus symptoms of a break. Shingo, you should take some responsibility and access your problem. Obviously, the meds you are on don't inhibit you so much as to dull your ability to navigate the web or tell us all about it, so I suggest you take a little effort and try to understand your problem. If you do realize it is just a sprain, it could save you and your parents frustration and money.
I understand where you could be coming from, as I have suffered many sprains, (though no broken bones ever) and always my first thoughts were to see a doctor. So far, it was always a false alarm, and it always hurt my parents wallet when I got them to go in to look. The doctors chuckled, reassured me that there is no breaks. All is fine, take some meds, the whole ordeal.
Now, if you look into it and are quite sure that this is indeed more serious then it may seem, I suggest you urge your parents for a doctor, or take matters into your own hands. Your health is one of the most important things you have, so don't let anyone stand in your way to finding help.

Its an expression implying that those pennies are my opinions. I am submitting them to a collection in the jar that is this discussion. They mean no more then everyone else's pennies, and can be taken out or proven false.

Oh, ouch. I heard that when I broke my knee-cap. I went to school for three days before my parents took me to the hospital because it wasn't healing like it would if it were just bruised. Let's just hope yours isn't a break. But if it is, GO WITH THE GLOW-IN-THE-DARK CAST!!
