-Glances over at Sil with a noticeable frown as she lights a cigarette but quickly returns his attention to Mizaka, nodding slightly, his expression growing more confused with every word.- That's... interesting. -Crosses his arms, eyebrows knitted, wondering, if that's true, why he's never heard of it.-

... *Blinks a few times at the information, also wondering herself if she's telling the truth, but really can't find any room for skepticism considering what job Exorcists do for a living.* Well, I take some comfort in at least knowing that Hell exists and bad people go there. That sounds like an... interesting job to say the least. How do spirits escape from Hell, exactly, if you don't mind me asking? *Flicks some of the ash from her cigarette into the fire, seeming to feel more calmed.*

(( Why have I not been watching this?! D: *Just finished the second episode of Once Upon a Time* Oh, and hello! : D ))
*Walks into the room with her tail swishing back and forth while her ears hone in on the noises in the Common Room, showing that she's gotten used to her new appendages* Good evening everyone! *Spots Sil and walks over, looking grateful* Hey, thanks for the idea yesterday! Running through the snow really did work!

 Stranger! Your dream is done and now we leave, Mizaka looked at her companions and saw the skepticism in their eyes. She sighed a bit.
"I know it's hard to believe. Hell, I didn't believe it myself until my parents were killed by Poltergeists when I was five. Truth is, only a select few know about what really goes in this world, and with good reason. We don't want people panicking." She looked over at Sil. "Hell has s**t security and they don't bother updating it. A lot of Spirits manage to escape when the Demons aren't looking. It's a huge pain in the a** for us Soul Officers." Mizaka looked up when Kiah walked in and smiled. "Good evening." Let others weep for you, let others grieve!

((It's so good isn't it!? I love that show... though I'm still behind... I'll have to catch up tonight perhaps c: ))
Hey Kiah! *Takes a step back, knowing she isn't a fan of smoking either.* I can say a smart thing or two every so often. Running through the snow is like adding on weights on your legs. *Laughs.* Are you a little less wound up this evening...?
So... the spirits of mass murderers and horrible criminals possibly have worst security after death than if they were locked up in life? *Makes a face.* If that's true... in which I'm not entirely convinced... I guess that's a strike against the death penalty... I hope, inversely, that this means there's a heaven up there somewhere. *Tilts her head up to look at the ceiling like she might spot an angel or a glimpse of white gates before finishing her cigarette. She then returns back to the couch, deciding to settle down next to Lavi instead of the floor, letting her knee bump his ever-so-slightly.*
I wonder though, if it's such a secret, why tell all of us in this case? *Smiles a little bit, truly curious of the woman's reasoning.*

Stranger! Your dream is done and now we leave, "Oh, there's a Heaven, alright," Mizaka smiled. "I've managed to become good friends with an Angel. As for the death penalty, well, nothing you can do about that. Even if you eliminated it, the criminals would still die eventually and end up in Hell." A look of mischief sparkled in her eyes. "I said only a select few know about it. Exorcists are part of that few. And you need to know this because a bunch of Spirits have decided to make their home around here." -Still has a troubled look on his face as he waves at Kiah absent-mindedly, gazing out in front of him.- Hey...
-Sil's knee-bump shakes him out of his thoughts and he smiles at her for a bit before turning back to Mizaka, listening intently in case this is news for the Bookman clan, even though he couldn't imagine it is. He knows there's things Bookman keeps from him, but he didn't think this would be so important to keep secret from him, so he's a little confused.-
Are there... good spirits, too? -Thinks of Eira, somewhere out in the snow, as Mizaka mentions spirits around the Order.-

(( Thanks Lavi! I would've watched them all if I hadn't decided to go to bed early tonight! This may just fill the void The Walking Dead left when it went on break. ;_; ))
*Smiles and nods at Mizaka, not wanting to interrupt her while she was explaining her job to Sil* Hey Lavi. *Smiles and waves back quickly, figuring that he was listening also*
*Gives Sil an appreciative look for stepping back, knowing that the smoke would probably make her drowsy after a certain amount of time* Haha, you don't give yourself enough credit! You always have good ideas. *Smiles and shrugs* I'll still need to take a run later, but it worked very well yesterday, so I'm not too worried. *Turns to Mizaka and listens to their conversation, knowing most of the details from her talks with Jack, but still ready to pick out new information*

Heaven has some restrictions on when and where they can come visit, since Heaven is supposed to be their final resting place and all. I guess that's why I haven't seen my parents since their deaths..." Mizaka looked sadly into the fire. Let others weep for you, let others grieve!

*Frowns a little at Mizaka's words.* Well, what about spirits who aren't good nor evil. Like, the ones who never moved on to another place... I know we have a couple of those hanging around The Order... and only a few have done anything malignant. The others just... exist. Sometimes cause some mischief, but who doesn't? *Shrugs a little bit.*

"Oh...the Spirits who are not entirely good but not entirely bad...?" She rubbed the back of her head. "Those guys end up in Purgatory, where the Angels look over their records and decide whether they should be sent to Heaven or Hell. They weigh their souls to see if there's more good or evil in them. But sometimes, and this happens rarely, the good and evil are perfectly balanced, and the Angels have no choice but to send them back to Earth via Reincarnation." -Frowns, both at Mizaka's sadness for her parents, and what she has to say about the other kind of spirits.- It's not exactly like that, though... They often don't remember their lives, and just... wander around. Like they're... stuck or something.

Right... *Seems a little relieved by what Mizaki says, though she nods along with what Lavi says, well aware of where he is going with that thought.* He's right... is there something odd about... uh... 'Lost Spirits?'
*Moves her legs up onto the couch, the movement making her feel a little more secure.* I'm glad to know it isn't all bad spirits flying around, or I'd be a lot more concerned about living in this noticeably haunted castle. Sleeping alone is scary enough without that thought... *Rubs her arms as goosebumps rise on her skin, still finding herself a little nervous about the walk to her room, thinking about that spirit her and Chaoe ran into not too long ago.*
