Hands so sore. Making it hard to type. 5 hours of bailing hay. No gloves.
Surprisingly only two small blisters. My hands continue to resist. Soft and smoothe as always. A blessing and curse because for hard work some callouses would be nice.

Bailing hay? And why not wear gloves? Seems to be the smart idea.
Brynn and I are back from the land of Mouse. We're being visited by friends from Oregon, so limited computer access pour moi. Oh yeah...thought I should throw this out there...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MA PETITE SOEUR!

Couldn't find any that would allow me to grip the strings or fit my long slender wide palmed hands. Everyone there had smaller hands or shorter fingers than me.

Hm...You live on a farm? Interesting.
Wouldn't it be better to have some protection then none at all though?

*shrugs* My hands wouldn't hurt that much. But I'll take efficiency over comfortable. Though it would have been a moot point if I could have found at least one of the three pair of work gloves I own before I had to go out and do it. When bailing hay all you care about is getting it done.
And no I don't live on a farm. That would be awesome but nope. Well maybe not awesome, farms are a lot of physical work and I'm more of an esoteric guy in a lot of ways. I wouldn't mind living out in the country though. Gods do I hate the city. There isn't a single thing that the city has that makes it even slightly worthwhile.

So why were you bailing hay? 0.o
I pick fruits and vegetables every so often...that's about as close as I get to farm work. But it's not big or anything, it's just tomatoes from my backyard, or peaches at my friends house. Or freaking avocadoes that are everywhere...

Hmmm when are we going to start a new RP thread? We usually start a new one around these numbers.

Melphaligal the Challama Hmmm when are we going to start a new RP thread? We usually start a new one around these numbers. Seems like a good time for a new one. End of the beach party, start of the Gala. Unless Aire is waiting for the Gala to be over and the trip to Sinnoh to start.
Also, I never see anyone bailing hay around here either. but that's probably because everything is covered in concrete. >>
