Nedyfay Norrell *blinks slowly* I can think of a couple of characters that aren't superstrong...Elliot (Josh) I can only really think of 3 or 4 of mine that are, and that's out of a couple dozen easily. In response to the matter in question, though... berserkers aren't all about "BIGAWESOMESTRENGTH!"... they're about just going unhinged on someone. It doesn't have to be about breaking walls with your face (which, incidentally, WALLs are immune to)... it's about apeshit as a verb rather than a noun. Bite, kick, claw, scratch, throw things. You don't need to grow new sets of muscles just so you can suplex someone through a table. Though you can always suplex the table into them just because you can. I've got a berserker character back from old school WoG, Hugin might remember him if he ever looked at that part of it. He was probably like 150 pounds, just a kid with some serious mental instability. Snapped and tried to lick a 6' platemail clad knightress because he thought she was hardcore.

I know not this tade... just the Knight of the Forgotten. Good ol' Saint Jon. Joseph Brown Saint Jon, The WarlordJon is the patron saint of bezerker type paladins. Many choose to follow his example of his fanatic, bordering violent, devotion. Followers of Jon are often the most aggressive in converting outsiders, as well as the most extreme for cleansing themselves of disloyalties.

The willingness to bite people makes grappling really effective. Moreso when you have hydraulic jaws of fist-eating.

Ah. So...
A large amount of pain endurance, and dirty fighting make up a berserker?

I guess. Never made a character on the basis of someone else's terms. I get an idea, and I make the character.
Tombs is the product of me wanting to bury noobs alive.

Kichiro Oda Ah. So... A large amount of pain endurance, and dirty fighting make up a berserker? When you just want what you want, without any regard for who gets in the way, or the consequences therein... Though for it to be a 'berserker' it'd have to be fits of rage/passion/something rather than just a constant state of hXc.

Never made a character on someone else's terms either.
However, I'm trying to learn how one would do a berserker effectivly.
All the ways I thought of, seemed kinda counter productive with how strong every demon/bat/ninja/angel/warrior I come across.
Edit.
Got it Jello, I think I'll go study some norse mythology and come out with a Viking berserker.

Kichiro Oda Ah. So... A large amount of pain endurance, and dirty fighting make up a berserker? Or in some other definitions. A berserker is a person who when faced with a stressful situation, is able to gain strength, speed, and endurace seemingly out of no where. Along with very little fear of injury or death. when they are not in a stressful situation they are a lot of times very calm and good people.

Haven't had much of a problem with strength. Speed is the big problem.
Me: I attack with a flying knee Noob: I grab you by the throat. Me: I knee your face for being stupid Noob: I FLY AWAY AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT

Kichiro Oda All the ways I thought of, seemed kinda counter productive with how strong every demon/bat/ninja/angel/warrior I come across. The key is not trying to one-up anyone in a stat or a skill... and just make a character based upon... y'know... the character. Don't let it be a competition. No matter what stats you give him there'll always be someone out there with 999 in every stat just because that's what they want to have. Strengths, weaknesses, habits and vulnerabilities are what make a character. It's not all about fighting, if it were there'd probably be numbers on the stats and all that. It's about the storytelling. The fighting within that is a means to an end... unless you RP just to fight. At which point just shrug your shoulders and throw variable stats in there by saying "as this is my primary stat, it is at least as good as yours".
