Saving Face was so good! heart
I felt like I could relate so well to the characters, their relationships, and conversations... It addressed my own fears about acceptance from my family. But after hearing what it was about, I didn't expect it to be so endearing and funny! We need more Asian American films like this. Simply put, it was a beautiful movie about love, love, and love.

Grandma: There's something wrong with my computer.
Me: What's it doing?
Grandma: It's my foxfire.
Me: Firefox. What's it doing?
Grandma: It keeps giving me a message asking if I want to start a new session.
Me: ...
Grandma: What do I do?
Me: ... start a new session.
Grandma: But why does it do that?
Me: Because you didn't close your windows.
Grandma: But how do I get it to stop?
Me: Close your windows. Or just start a new session.
Grandma: So it is going to do this all the time?
Me: If you don't close your windows.
Grandma: Well, that's annoying.
Me: ...
Grah! ******** family tech support! I swear I am going to ******** ANNIHILATE things!
And then my mom gets on my case because I won't go over and "fix" my grandma's computer. There's nothing to fix! It's a ******** prompt! I can't change the way the ******** browser works! It's not my fault she never closes her damned windows and freaks out over every stupid message she gets. I've seriously gone over there to "fix" her computer before only to find that it is on the verge of crashing because she has 50 ******** browser windows open. And THAT'S THE ONLY PROBLEM. I don't know how her computer hasn't exploded by now.
And then it is MY fault she doesn't know how to close the godamned windows. It's, like, the most ******** basic action beyond pressing the start button, ok!? I've told her how to do it. I've shown her how to do it. I've HAD HER DO IT HERSELF WHILE LOOKING OVER HER ******** SHOULDER. There is nothing else I can DO, ok? I'm not going to drive over there every ******** day to do something as menial and asinine as CLOSE ******** WINDOWS! GRAGH!!!11(*@&*#()@!&&1`

"Smile" by Lily Allen is the number 1 meanest love song? I've never even heard of that. What hack wrote this list? Where is Green Day's "Time of Your Life"? Because that's the first song that popped into my head when I thought about a mean love song that was mainstream enough to wind up on any list.
Wow, though. I always liked Sarach MacLachlan's "Posession" (and Type O Negative's cover), but damn... now it's just hardcore.

I love it when you address a major concern to someone and they give you a lame a** excuse. Fraturnal twins do NOT come from a split egg! It's identical. I still say that whole thing smells very very fishy.

*headdesk* I hate money. Really. I hate that my roommates can't stand when it's less than 65 degrees in the house, so they HAVE to turn up the heat to like 72, and I hate that one of them washes her car every week. NOBODY CARES IF YOUR CAR IS DIRTY. Our water bill tripled from what it was last month, and our gas bill QUADRUPLED. I can't afford that! Sonofabitch.
ARGH.

Jesus ******** Christ.
Did I not just explain to my grandmother, once again, that she needs to close windows when she is finished with them? Only a few hours ago? Yes? Yes, I did?
Well, she once again managed to get 50 ******** Firefox windows open at once and her computer froze. I just spent 15 ******** minutes telling her how to close Firefox. And, of course, that didn't work. So then I had to tell her how to shut down the computer.
All the meanwhile my mom is yelling at me to go over and fix her computer. I'm not going out in this godforsaken weather to do something that should take 30 seconds, ok? I'm sorry, but I'm just NOT.
Honestly. It is not my fault that the woman bought a computer without knowing how to actually run one. I am not a teacher. It is not my job to teach her. Nobody taught me. I mean... how ******** intuitive is Windows? How hard is it to click that little red X when you're done with something? How HARD?
And then my mom gets pissy because I lose my patience. But if she had any idea how ******** SIMPLE the things my grandma manages to screw up are... gah. Really, my self control is ******** STELLAR.

Ok, she told me an hour ago that she got the computer turned off. Now she calls me spazzing out because "it's not shutting down." *@&!(&#*(%!&@%&)
So I told her to press down the power button and hold it in until the computer turned off. She did. Then not five seconds later she calls me back because her computer is still shutting down.
She doesn't even know the ******** difference between the computer and the monitor! What the hell am I supposed to do with that? Huh? WHAT? Contrary to my family's beliefs, I am NOT the ******** goddess of computers. Thus I am NOT capable of knowing every possible way my grandmother can manage to ******** her computer to Sunday and be able to explain how to fix it without ever actually being told the problem! >_<
