(( it wasnt an external scream...more of a mental thing...>>'' ))

Though she did not move, she heard what Astande was saying underneath her. He was right, of course, in teh respect that she was acting rather childish. She should be able to ahdnle these kinds of situations right now, and it was not helping the situation. Slipping over the edge of the building, she dropped down several floors before landing gracefully on her own balcony once more.

"Sorry," she said, taking a deep breath to steady herself. She would save dealing with this until later on, right now she had a job to do. She couldnt bear to look at Krii, seeing as she was not sure what to say to him, and as far as looking at Astande was concerned, she was now too embaressed to do anything of the sort. She swallowed her pride however, and put a smile on her face before walking back into the room and smiling at the two new huntresses in her apartment. "You guys need something to drink or anything?"

Astande's comment hit on Krii'Ouse's nerves. he stood up instantly, his eyes full of anger and his brows pointed in hatred. 'I don't know who the Hell you think you are, punk, but I don't give a damn about any ******** war! Right now I have too much s**t smashing my damn brain in that this war doesn't even amount to, you got me?!' he was in Astande's face, and before Astande could react, and seconds before Kerrigan had returned to the balcony, he stepped back, leaning against the railing and falling backwards over it.

He fell two stories and landed on his feet on the ground. He turned to see Skiaska running back towards Haven. 'Oh s**t.' He chased after her, not knowing what he would say when he caught up to her, but he had to chase all the same.

Liora's face remained placid as Astande confronted the people on the balcony; her eyes flickered emotionlessly. Behind her golden orbs, the gears of Liora's mind were slowly turning like a well-oiled, efficient machine. Astande had a point; whatever had happened on the balcony was most unecessary given the current situation. However, Liora was gifted-or cursed- with the ability to see both sides of the coin in any scenario. In a way, Liora felt that she could sympathize with the two on the porch; no matter how important the plight of the world around them might be, Liora knew that personal matters had a penchant for overshadowing even the most bitter of wars. Regardless of which side was 'right', Liora knew it was important for the hunters to remain close and at ease with one another.

She shook her head lightly as a means of rattling the ever-turning gears in her brain. Those who had known her previously had always accused Liora of thinking too much; it was a well-grounded accusation, for Liora always had the urge to rationalize every second she breathed. Everything happened for a reason. Even the smallest event had some deeper, more elusive meaning to it. Liora was beating at her mind ever second with her fist, as it were.

" 'ello, Kerrigan." she murmured in greeting to the huntress whom she recognized from earlier. Her abrupt appearance did not startle Liora in the least. "Don't worry about a drink for me; I've got mine right here."

Her usual humour was slowly phasing out her previously pensive mood. With a wink, Liora lifted her trusty flask from her holster with her index finger and thumb. She delicately spun it with her fingers, causing it's gold engraving 'Mors Venit' to sparkle and shine. Its brightly polished surface even reflected a golden light onto her pristine features.

"A girl's best friend in times like these, as it were. Cheers."

Liora hoisted the flask in the air momentarily before popping off the lid and taking a small swallow. The vodka tingled her throat pleasantly, and its sharp taste caused a shiver to run the length of her spine. Smiling at its welcome warmth, Liora put the flask away once again. A little sip would do; it was not her intention to become tipsy.

He knew the pain of loneliness many years over...he knew what it was like to not understand yourself, or even those around you. He had lived decades in that moral pit...He had suffered the unforgiving endless reel that time placed upon his mental psyche, being forced into submission of his emotions and thoughts, having no choice but to learn to understand and cope with them.
But the fact was...He lived...And he was more than anything he could have ever hoped to be as a mortal...And if "The Fear" of those delicate streets of Paris, so long ago, could learn to live with himself, so could these seemingly disregarded youths.
He had felt something beyond a fatherly disposition for Kerri, but it was this night that he quashed it. Nothing could afford to dispell him of the wits he had taken many centuries to master. If this faithless, lost non-man was who she wished to share her experiences with, that was how things would be. The wheel turns as the wheel wills. He snarled slightly at Krii's disrespect, but understood his circumstances and disregarded it as human fallacy. He turns, heading back into the living room, nodding satisfaction at Kerri.

"Now then...it would appear two of those who would lead our forces have left in their own rights. I shall stay and guide us to my best abilities within Will's wishes, unless i am forced to act otherwise. I will take advantage of Rogue's invitation at long last i suspect. I will leave for the Coven within the Hour. I would like it Kerri, if you would accompany me."

She laughed lightly as Liora produced the flask, nodding, "I know how that goes. It is good to see that you are doing well Liora." She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge, unscrewing the top and draining a third of it rather quickly. As she returned to the room, she saw Astande coming back inside. She smiled at him, a mix of emotions showing through. It was another sort of apologtic smile for the way she ahd lost control of herself the moment before, one of respect at how he was willing to assume the role of leader so quickly, and finally, one of gladness at his invitation.

She nodded, "Sure thing. Should i suit up, or just grab my keys?" Of course, she meant if they were going for a friendly visit, or if they were going to kick some a**. Either way, she didnt care. Anything to get her out of the apartment and the momentary distress that it had provided. She had lingered here too long as it was. Walking over to the door, she grabbed her pair of worn black sneakers, and sat down on the couch, lacing them quickly, and tying them into a double knot. As she stood, they were barely visible from under the length of her jeans.

He opens his cloak, those of his weapons and trinkets not hidden creating a brilliant show of metal and chemicals and devices.

"I'd like you to be prepared, just in case..."

Liora smiled inwardly to herself. So, Astande and Kerri were going to the local Coven. She would be lying if she were to say that she wasn't in the least bit jealous, but the jealously stemmed from the rash, illogical side that all women and thrill-seekers alike seemed to posess. Kerri and Astande were both vampires; she was a Lycan- the 'Enemy' race. They were going there on hopefully peaceful terms, and such a goal would be jeopardized by her presence. Furthermore, she was the newbie of the group; she'd yet to have a true chance to show off her prowess in battle. Her day would come. For now, she'd just have to go with the flow and hope for the best. The Hunters would handle things; if anyone needed her, they would ask for her assistance. For now, the best thing she could do was acclimate herself with her new gear.

"Hm. While you two do that, I think I'll return to the Haven." she spoke. "The shooting-range has been calling my name ever since I learned of its presence."

Liora absentmindedly fingered the golden chain around her neck as she spoke.

He turns to Liora, nodding sympathetically. He notices the patience she is exerting, and finds it's admirable that she can restrain herself.

"As soon as these peace talks are over, i'm sure the lockdown will be removed. You'll have a chance to prove yourself then. As it is, i am breaking code by bringing Kerri with me...but in such times, it must be done."

Liora laughed lightly before replying to Astande's comment.

"Ah, but Rule-makers can afford to break the rules in certain instances, can't they?" Of course, Liora resisted the urge to apply all the 'unless's, 'why's, and other forms of logic to that statement. She was merely being humorous and jovial; for jokes, common sense need not apply.

Realizing that she was toying with her necklace, Liora turned her attentions, instead, to polishing the powerful scope on her rifle with the soft fabric of her gloves. It was another nervous habit, but it was better than attracting attention to something she'd prefer not to be asked about. Allowing her rifle to swing back behind her back, Liora headed towards the door and retrieved her case.

"I'll be at the Haven. You two stay out of trouble, 'ya hear?" she chided them gently, playfully. Liora paused before exiting just in case Kerrigan or Astande had any further words or orders for her. She didn't just want to up and leave without giving them a chance to respond.

He smiles, his face turning questioningly towards Kerri's as Liora hesitates, checking upon her readiness to go. He seems to think for a bit, then looks back to Liora.

"Aye, you may leave. And be sure to be discreet on your way back. Rhator may still be out looking...it's a shame really, so close to killing the b*****d...well...i'm sure it woulden't matter if peace was negotiated one way or the other, that damn Demon will come for me regardless...maybe we can finish him off before things get too sticky."

He chuckles heartily, anticipation gleaming in his eyes.

A similar anticipation gleamed in Liora's eyes, but she chose her next words carefully despite her thirst. From the information she'd gathered during her visit, Liora now knew that she at least had three leaders at the Haven; she truly did not wish to tread on any of their toes. Oh no, that would be most unwise of her.

"When you chose to go after Rhator, I wouldn't mind giving a helping hand in the least. Assuming, of course, that you'd like me to help..."

Liora roughly shouldered her carrying case. She felt her trusty laptop bump against her thigh through its thick leather exterior. Fortunately, the case was light enough to not hinder her. That wasn't saying much; she was a Lycan, afterall, and therefore capable of a lot more than any mere human.

He masks a smile while adjusting his hood, speaking clearly and in a dismissive manner...It would most likely be termed as an addition to his and Kerri's team if she performed well enough in a hunt with them...

"We shall see...Now go. Me and Kerri shall return to Haven with news posthaste...I want Haven on standby for immediate engagement should i return with ill tidings. You have permission to execute this order on my authority, and that order only. I would suspect you can figure out a way to spread the word ASAP upon your return. I leave it to you."

He then turns to Kerri, a determined look on his face

"Kerri, time to leave. Get your things together."

Liora smiled as well, but she did not bother to conceal the expression. Her gold eyes gleamed with merriment at the task which Astande had given her. Though he most likely was assigning it to her simply because she was the only one returning to the Haven currently, Liora still decided to go about the task with her usual amount of zest. If she did this well, she would most likely earn 'brownie points' with the leaders.

"I won't disappoint you." she replied with a mock salute to Astande. She then turned, broadening her focus to both Astande and Kerrigan. "The best of luck to both of you."

Readjusting the case on her shoulder, Liora took a step towards the balcony door. Her mind sounded a silent alarm; if she was to be discreet, leaping from the second story wasn't the best way to go about it. Liora pivoted on her heel and exited swiftly through the door she came through. Her pace was efficient and swift, for Liora was intent on reaching her destination without any problems. Before she left the apartment buildings completely, Liora tapped into her lycanthropic instincts and masked her aura as Astande had taught her to do previously. ((Exit to Haven))

He keeps a discreet expression on his face until she leaves, letting his mouth curve upwards in a satisfied smile at her mode of exit.

"Hm. Always nice to know your teaching is getting a response."

After sitting among her drawings for a long time, Lydia came to a conclusion. She should go find Rogue and somehow get rid of the dream. It would not come to anything, and it was becoming rather bothersome. Rifling through her clothes, she found a pair of black pumps that would draw attention to her marvelous legs, and armlet that matched the colors of the bustier, and put in some silver dangle earrings.

Thus dressed up, and her shirt buttoned so the bustier was covered, Lydia walked out of her room and out of the appartment, telling Mischief to stay in the place she shared with Kerrigan. Closing the door, and making sure she had a key to get back in, Lydia walked out towards Las Noches, knowing Rogue would most likely be there.
