He pulled a bit more frantically now "It's nothing.. Let me go!! I have to.. go... somewhere. I just have to go!" He was showing the mannerisms of a cornered or caged animal who wanted to get free and desperatly wished he had gone home when he had the chance. At least with Ben there were no surprises or.. hope to confuse him with. He always knew what waited for him there!

Glory was confused and didn't know what to say. She didn't know how long she had blacked out for and was starting to believe that she was still in dream world. Glory gave a I'm-confused-what's-going-on look as her eyes scanned the room she was in. She then began to wonder if this whole thing was a trap set by LaMort to get her to talk...((Talk about being paranoid..^^;; ))

I just followed my new friend::she indicates reemy::she said something was going on with two towers or something else that sounded tolkienian and she said so long as I did not get in the way I coulod accompany her....

::about to block him in agian, she hesitates. he was obviously distressed for some reason... and considering he'd been fine a moment ago, hadn't really started panicing until she brought up the coffee, she could only come to the conclusion that SHE had upset him... somehow... ::letting go of him, she steps aside:: sorry, i didn't mean to... do whatever it was i did ::softly, though she didn't really expect him to hear. but what had she done?! if she knew she could avoid doing it agian...::

Guilt! Now he felt guilty!! He never felt guilty (well that wasn't true but..) He backed up until he was a safe distance from her before speaking "It's ok... just don't ever say those words again! Not if you want me to hang around you and your cult!"

"NO! Stop saying that! You do not associate 'love' with me ok? It doesn't work now stop it! No caring, no love, no nothing!!!" He was torn now, part of him wanted to run away as fast as he could go while the other part wanted to stay with these odd people and he didn't know which side to listen too. He was sitting on the floor now hugging his knees (vulnerable yes... but Franki couldn't see so he didn't care).

why not? ::she struggled to keep the frustration out of her tone as she "watched" Iyashi's aura grow smaller as he sat on the floor. she was no good at this emotional junk... she knew it... she just wasn't... still, acting purely on instinct, she puts a hand on his shoulder then kneels beside him carefully and, after a split second hesitation, hugs him:: i think it works just fine. you can't tell other people how to feel, Iyashi, and like it or not, i DO care about you... accept it or don't, it's up to you, but you'll be happier if you realize that you ARE likeable and deserving of having someone care about you.... : surprised h someone stop her, she was starting to sound like an after school special! she suppressed a wince, fully expecting him to jerk away from her or burst out laughing at the pure stupidity of what she was doing::

He had froze when she knelt by him and stiffened when she hugged him. How did she do that when she was blind?? However instead of pulling away and running out the door (like half of him was still screaming too) he actually lent into the hug, shaking a little. Hugs.. like the words 'I love you' were non-existant in his life and right now the part that wanted to stay aslo wanted to be hugged and comforted like a little kid! He was pathetic but he'd deal with it later. "I guess you have a point.." he muttered "But I still think your wasting your time on me!"

::she was, if possible, more surprised by him actually leaning into the hug than anything else. she had fully expected him to push her away... still, deciding not to think on it too much, she tightens the hug a little bit and grins:: i like wasting my time... it's fun, and you know what they say about all work and no play... besides, i don't think you're a waste
