Ruuvan didn't really need to think about the answer, what with him only seeing Angeltears and Maximos in one place, but he still paused for a moment and ran over any other possible answers he could give - he found none.
"Leviathan Stadium, not far from here..." Ruu returned to reality and turned his head to D, smiling brightly, "You think we should take a look around there and see what we can find?"

Uh huh! Uh huh!

::He said as he quickly shook his head up and down. Without even a warning he popped into the passenger seat, tossed the bow in the backseat....the bow being, Ruuvans bow...and quiver...and strapped himself in. Then, quick drawed a piece of candy drawing it so fast and popping it into his mouth, that the exact type of candy was unknown. And he was ready to go.::

Ruuvan's bow was back? Well D and said bow did disappear a the same time, so he thought he might've taken, but where he came from and how he found the H2 in the middle of nowhere was a different question he wouldn't bother asking. Let's just say it was fate or something, eh?
"To the arena then!" Ruu smiled and pointed to the car ceiling triumphantly, his other hand starting the powerful Hummer engine. Then, without waiting any longer, Ruu gunned the engine and pulled off the curb, launching the heavy vehicle on a course to the Arena.

To the docks!

: biggrin said as he hoped out of the car and zoomed to the Dock. Without even a thought he zoomed onto the nearest air ship, not asking for the fair, or waiting as people shouted for him to stop. It was a cargo ship, and D was so graceful about running past and even into people knocking over boxes and causing people to trip on their feet as he dashed in.

Needless to say, the ship's runner was sitting in wait for Ruuvan with a heft, and angry invoice. But D didnt care, in a matter of minutes he was on the top deck and leaning halfway off the barrier waiting for the ship to take off!::

And so, as soon as the H2 pulled into the lay by near the docks, D was instantly out of the doors and onto the first ship he found. Needless to say Ruuvan saw the annoyed expression on the dock masters face, staring straight at the driver of the white beast. Luckily for Ruu, the boat situation aside for the moment, a car return agency was stationed nearby and a sales rep instantly went to greet him.
"Get this Hummer back to Raven Industries tower in Durem, got it?" To this, mixed with the wad of cash in Ruuvan's hand, the man nodded and instantly leapt into the vehicle before driving off.

"Sorry about the kid, sir." Ruuvan carried all their equipment from the car; a black duffel bag, his sword case and a backpack full of clothing and some food. It was at that moment that Ruu realised he had no idea whether or not the ship D was on was the right one, "Is that ship going to a shadow island, south of Guldor?" He hoped the person he was after, possibly Maximos, had made this trip and so the guy would know what this shadow island was.

Errrr....

::He says with a look of complete confusion on his face as looks at the schedule'd stops for this week.::

Uh...I dont see any Shadow Island....uh...south of Guldor?

::Fwip, fwip! With a flip of his large checkpad, he pulls out a tiny map and unfolds it to reveal a map of Gaia, and points at the chunk of land between Latent and Guldor, he tilts his head to the side and says.::

That'd be the only I know of south of Guldor. But....thats Windmill Island, its got a big windmill on it, but I dont think anyone lives there. It sort of....landed there, after that big incident at the Leviathan Stadium last year.

Windmill island? That was good enough for Ruuvan. There was one thing that he still needed to ask though, two if the question response was negative.
"Do you stop there? If not, then I can pay more." Simple enough for someone to follow, especially if they understood money. Of course, if he lied that they didn't stop there to try and get some extra money, Ruu would be able to tell of his intentions.

::He let out a sigh::

This is a cargo company sir, not a pleasure cruise. If you want to land on that island your gonna need to be dropped off with the cargo.

::He wasnt interested in money, except the money for the things D had broken...other than that Ruu and D would have to find a way down with the cargo drop.::

"You have a spare parachute and rigging gear, or should I just climb inside one of the boxes?" Ruuvan smiled slightly, making sure he kept the conversation tone in good fun, but he was wondering how one would be dropped with the cargo if they didn't have some kind of parachute or other device to stop them crushing into the ground, "And how much for the repairs?"

Parachute? What're you, mortal?

::Geez, with all the meta's around theres no way this man and child would have trouble with the fall. He even laughed just a bit, and quickly snapped back to all seriousness.::

But really, you jump.

::It was when Ruuvan asked about the repairs that a smile came to his face. He flipped his clipboard around and clicked the end of his pen switching it from black ink, to red ink, and circled the total line. Without listing an actual number it was safe to say that if those zeros where a bit bigger the group of them would be able to wrap Ruuvan up like a mummy.....it was alot.::

Ruuvan shot a stern glance at the man as he laughed, poking fun at mortals or those with less power than everyone walking around. With a sigh and rub of his temples, Ruu continued on before the man brought up the point of money.
"I just want a parachute and rig to get the kid attached to me, right?" Considering he was actually going to pay for the repairs and not just blow the man off, he hoped this was going to get him some respect. So, placing one of the bags on the ground and taking out his cheque book, Ruu started to add up the ammount in his head and right said cheque, "Who's it payable to?"

::Now. Because he was Dockmaster of the Assholes, the man proceeded to lean forward toward Ruuvan, and point at his lips as he spoke in the manner in which one might speak to a child.::

Weeee. Dooooont. Haaaaave. Aaaannyyyy. Weeeee. Flyyyyy.

::And as he said "Fly", he would flap his arms slowly as if they were wings. Rude? Extremely. As Ruuvan mentioned the check, his voice sped back up to normal speed, and his arms went back to his sides. The man didnt care if Ruuvan had a check or a card, he didnt care about money. He got paid more than enough already. But, if people were going to go around breaking his cargo, they were gonna pay, in one way or another. He wasnt impressed by the check book, he looked at it with annoyance, for as see saw it, Ruuvan wouldnt have had to bring it out at all if he had better control over his kid. So he very frankly said.::

One, two, three, four, five, six... ten! A moment of rage started to boil up inside Ruuvan as the man leant in and shouted in his ear, causing an internal calming countdown to take over his thoughts. Needless to say he was ignoring what the man was saying, instead he was trying to figure out how large a drop this guy was talking about and how someone wouldn't die from falling from a high height, but whatever.
"How far is this drop then?" Ruu seemed completely unphased by the twattish attitude the man had, what with having dealt with worse, so he actually smiled as he handed over the cheque and gathered his things again. This would be the last piece of conversation before he pushed past the man and onto the ship, seeing as the drop was all he needed to know about.
