Oooh, Hotari purred, tilting her head still to Jordiar, shifting closer to his side, curious about the book even moreso than she had been a moment ago. Can I see? She smiled brightly and offered a cute little expression in hopes of coaxing the boy into sharing, but laughed because she knew that he would probably rather not relinquish the literature as he held it so very tightly. Where did you come from?

Jordiar's arms tightened around the book, then he blinked, and shook his head. "You can't...I mean, you can see it, but you can't see the words..." He, slightly hesitantly, opened the book, revealing the empty pages, before he closed the book and held it tightly to his chest again. "It has no name. Everyone there just calls it Home." He ducked a little. "It must sound rather silly."

Hotari couldn't help but laugh, and she shook her head. You'd be surprised, Jordi. She grinned and leaned near his ear, as if to tell him a secret, but purred 'I'm a goddess from a completely different demension.'

Hotari laughed, and stepped back, offering a coy little photo-shot type pose. I don't like to brag, but yes. She laughed again and shook her head, clasping her hands behind her back as she looked to Jordiar with bright eyes. I am, but, it doesn't matter, right? I'm just a girl, just like you're just a boy, right?

Jordiar blinked, thinking about that a moment, before nodding. "Y-yes, I suppose you're right!" He smiled shyly, hugging his book still.

Of course I'm right! Hotari laughed, shaking her head to the awkward boy before her. So...You came to the garden to read your text-less book...? she tilted her head, inwardly eager to make friends with this boy.

Jordiar blinked, then ducked a little. "Yes...I mean, back at my new home right now, it's very noisy, because Rayel got the bright idea of making some potions or whatever he calls them in his room and there was a little explosion... So I went out wandering, and back at my old home there was a place like this...several, actually, and I guess it just brought back memories." He ran his finger along the spine of the book. "I guess it was just...an escape."

Aww, Hotari purred again, reaching out to fluff the boy's hair. Would you like me to carry on my wanderings, and you can go back to reminiscing about your home? She smiled brightly, and tilted her head, not wanting to interrupt with such things as she knew well enough what being home-sick could be like...If he was indeed homesick.

Jordiar turned a little red and shook his head. "O-oh, that's not necessary! I mean, I can read this anytime and in any place, and I mean you can stay and we can talk if you would like to..." He bit his lip, cheeks reddening a little more as he ducked a little more, still clutching his book.

Well, Hotari looked over Jordiar, eyeing him from head to toe and back. If you'd like to walk and talk with me, that'd be great! But...I'm not much for sharing. She grinned to the boy as she gestured to the book. Would you pay attention to me? There was a light, airy laugh to her voice as she asked her question, and her apple eyes glittered in the ligh.

Jordiar blinked, then nodded. "Oh, yes." He relaxed his shoulder, slightly. "I'm used to paying attention, more than the other way around, if that makes any sense..."

People don't pay attention to you? Hotari tilted her head, unsure if that was really what the boy was insinuating or not, but it concerned her all the same. She didn't like when people overlooked her, and knew she didn't have it in her to overlook anyone else, and didn't like when people ignored one another for any sort of reason.

Inhaling the chilly winter air, Erordia made her way around some of the gardens. She had been busy recently helping a friend find a place to build a home but now she was taking a break to enjoy herself. Only one thing could make it better and she hoped to find that thing here. As she walked, Erordia kept an ear out for voices or footsteps, hoping that Isabella had had the same idea as her to come out to the gardens.

Isabella pulled her coat tighter around herself as a gust of cold wind blew past. Tired of being cooped up in the house she decided that it might be nice to take a stroll through the gardens, hoping that she might run into Erordia while she was out since she hadn't seen her in quite some time.
