Grar!
Both of the Stealth Suit weapon options break a mutable rule of Kill Team! What's the point of killteam without Stealth suits?!

Finally found a local opponent to play a couple practice rounds with. He has a few squads of tyranid guys and we are gonna match up with my one fire warrior squad. How many tyranids can I kill with a squad of 12 firewarriors without becoming swamped?

FlashbackJon Grar! Both of the Stealth Suit weapon options break a mutable rule of Kill Team! What's the point of killteam without Stealth suits?! cheese_whine The trick is either to knuckle under and use drones to fill up the team while taking as few Stealth suits as possible, or talk your opponent into not counting Pathfinder's Markerlights as breaking a mutable, because they're useless without another unit to mark for.

Unless you take a marker-light drone.

Lt. Brookman Unless you take a marker-light drone. Well, yes, but that's besides the point. The point is, both Stealth Suits and Pathfinders are the fluffiest units to use for Kill Team, yet both are disqualified because of the Kill Team rules; Pathfinders for ALL carying Heavy weapons, and Stealth Suits because thier only weapons are either >S7 or >2 shots. The only way around it is to convine the opponent that the default Markerlights in Pathfinder squads are useless and shouldn't count. If you take a Marker Drone or Rail Rifle, of course it should count towards the Heavy limit.

I love my current basic outline fot 500pts. I am still working on the finer points of it but basically it is as follows:
Shas'o Commander with Airbursting Fragmentation projector, Plasma rifle, Cyclic ion blaster, hard wire multi-tracker.
2 squads of 6 fire warriors
2 squads of 3 or 1 squad of 6 stealth suits, all with targeting array.
I still have about 40 points to play with, so i might add some goodies and the like

Secondly, the Multi-tracker only lets you fire two weapons, not three, so you're wasting a hardpoint as is. The Stealth Suits are nice with the Targeting Arrays, but I find that the cost of those Targeting Arrays are better spent on another Crisis Suit or something else. Between your 40 extra points, the points saved by losing the AFP and what you save by dropping the Arrays, you should have enough to fit in a pair of Death Rain suits (TL-MP/TA), which are excellent at killing the sort of light vehicles you encounter in 500 points.
