Jerhien Yeah pretty good start. Personally I'd prefer 2 or 3 landspeeders (with a**. cannons) to a predator, but heck, why not have both! (I.E. if I had to pick I'd go landspeeder. It's harder to kill a Dev squad then a pred most of the time, and if you're going to take armor it'd better be resilient or you'de better have a lot of it) My, I have both. I use my land speeders more, though. I love my land speeders. heart

Nara_Shikamaru71 Well I cant afford vehicles they freakin cost like $30-$40 This is a hobby that costs money. If you don't want to spend money and enjoy painting, converting, and playing all together, then this is not the hobby for you. Got get a boxed game like cluedo or something.

It's now between a land speeder, a predator, a razorback and a dreadnaught.

The new White Dwarf has a guide to making Marneus Calgar's personal Land Raider! eek
I'm so getting a Land Raider as soon as possible. By the way... LandSpeeders are too flimsy for me. >_<
I prefer the hard hitting strength of a Predator or Whirlwind, or Land Raider, normal and Crusader.
Is it only the Black Templars who can get LR Crusaders by the way?

I've run into a little snag. I think i'll make a space marine army next (I have Tau, Imperial Guard, and Chaos Marines) and i'm having issues deciding on a chapter. My original plan was to do Space Wolves, but I love Assault Marines, so my other choice is Raven Guard, or make my own chapter. What do you peoples think?

Nope, in 4th ed, every marine army has access to 0-1 LRC, although the black templars, being the INVENTOR of it, do not have the 0-1 limit.

Reddemon Id go with a custom chapter because you can have Assult Marines as Elites Yeah, thats why i was going to do Raven Guard, but they have No Mercy, No Respite, which i find kinda useless, and i don't like Flesh Over Steel, because I'd like to have a Land Raider and either a Predator or a Whirlwind, so a custom chapter would probably suit me best, so i have to decide on a chapter name, color scheme, symbol, etc. One of my ideas was to use the Ultramarines Symbol upside down, cause it looks like the symbol for Omega, so maybe something like that

On the topic of space marine armor I"m forced to disagree with you caga. I think a dreadnought is an incredibly good deal and much more flexible then most other pieces of armor that most space marine players use. The best Ultramarines player I know uses two dev squads with a jump pack chaplain and a dread to play bodygaurd. Of course he plays a static fire army (which is still a damn hard nut to crack). He compliments it with three landspeeders. I think Pred's are awesome too, don't get me wrong, but dreads and speeders are a damn steal for the points you pay for them. I think the most important thing I ever learned in 40k was that if you take armor, you better take it in spades because a solitary tank or dread is always number one on the enemies hit list. If I play with Pred's it's always two with a Vindicator (my personal favorite of the true SM tanks, and sadly the most often overlooked) a dread and a squadron of landspeeders. And yes dark elf, I too am head over heels in love with landspeeders. Cheap a** canons and hvy bolters are the win. Just my two cents! Oh and for a bad a** 500 pt list, take two small squads of space marines, a dreadnought, a chaplain, and a dev squad with 4 hvy bolters. 500 pts exactly, and damn hard to beat.
