Kirk - I didnt say I endorsed it. I just said, that, yanno. We can, and will, because thats nature. And, to be a**l retentive - Can't kill an animal in self defence?
And, yanno. She does what she does. Thats one person though. Maybe if there were twenty more it'de make a difference.

I'm sorry Rex. I didn't mean you endorsed it. I just meant I'm against hunting and sensless violence against animals.
As for self defense, other than maybe a dog, there aren't many situations where you should have to defend yourself against an animal. If you do, you're probably in their home, or where you shouldn't be.

you know how people expect you to live up to some sort of maturity when your a certain age, and when you don't they criticize you? Or better yet, you surprise yourself on how immature you are? I have to admit over the past few months I have been more aware of the lower end of my body than ever. And of course it's normal for my age and I've been living up to my status. But no matter how many times people try to make sexy comments directed my way. I cannot stop either giggling like a twelve year old or squealing like a nine year old "EEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW!!" Is there someting wrong with me? Or am I just too young at heart?

If you do, you're probably in their home, or where you shouldn't be. I agree with being against sensless violence against animals, but I am not against hunting. And as for being in their home, I have a problem with that right now. I have two graves outback where my two prior dogs are buried, and the other day I walked out back to find one of them dug up, rotten flesh, fur, and bones strewn about. Looked in my yard more after re-burying my dog, only to find cougar markings. Now the area I live in now has been housed and populated by humans for more then 60 years. On cannot make the arguement of me invadeing the animals territory. It has now marked my backyard as It's own spot. Now this would not be THAT big a deal if it had not eaten my deceased dog. This is not about personal reasons either, that doesent bother me because its part of life. See, Cougars are not scavangers by nature or habit, and they will not eat a dead animal unless it is desperate. If it has gotten this point, it is a danger people now. Their are quite a few young children liveing in my nabourhood. This leaves me with two choices: 1. hunt it myself, and 2. Call in animal control, which will kill it anyways. I dont think I have a choice here. Not trying to start a big arguement here, just makeing a comment an opinion.

Odds are, animal control will try to capture it and release it into the wild. I'd suggest that route.
As for hunting, death should never be considered death or sport. A long time ago people hunted for survival. The need for that is gone, completely.

Alright Kirk.
You saying that if I go out into the woods, in a nice little walk, and I find myself being rushed at by some hungry bear or some s**t like that I deserve it?
Cause I like animals, but not that much. If I could, I would kill that ******** bear in a heartbeat. I would never give MY life to save an animals. Another person, a human, yes. But never an animals.
Lune- Thats awful dude. Cougers, huh?
Thats pretty hardcore.
In my experience, Animal Control will kill animals like that. (I come from florida though, mind you)
We would catch the raccoons, and then they would put them to sleep. They attacked kids and whatnot. I almost got attacked by one, but my dad shot it before it got me.
I remember when the alligator got the girl up the road. Little girl stepped down to the creek (Where we all hung out) and tried to pick up a little shell, a gator took her ******** arm off.
Animal Control hunted down the gators all along the creek.
As for that little girl, I dont remember. I was young - I'll ask my dad what happened to her when he gets home.

I would rather see an animal shot and die quickly, than to have it die over the course of a few weeks, starving from a lack of food brough forth by the cruel winter.
I may support hunting in one sense, but in no way endorse it as a "sport".

Yeah. I saw this special on Discovery.
These hyena's ate eachother cause there was no food.
They broke this one Hyena babys spine, and it was crying out in pain, so the mother came and ate it.
Hyena's are ******** up.
The lions ate eachother too.
Although I did see a Cheetah take out a Hyena. Which is weird, cause Cheetah's have really light bones, and Hyena's are heavy.
AWESOME. Yanno?
