No other kin seemed to be around and he went to investigate. Some how a young one had got trapped in them. The buck looked around to find some extra help and still no others were close. Taking a deep breath, he started to dig. He dug deep along the roots, cracking them so the totoma could get out. The buck enjoyed what he had done so much, that he started to dig the roots when there was a large group of them. He would find extra food and even a different path to travel on.
