☽ Emma muffled a small laugh before she moved back a bit more and stood up in the tub. She stepped out and grabbed a towel to dry herself off with. ☾

Never Again...Herald got up as well, drying off his much larger body before tossing the towel aside and walking up to Emma. Without warning he scooped her up in his arms, holding her against him as he looked down at her with a smile on his face. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma continued drying off with the towel before Herald approached her and scooped her up against him. She dropped her towel in surprise before looking up at Herald, muffling another laugh, and smiling back at him. ☾

Never Again...Herald walked with Emma into the bed room, standing next to the bed before setting her down on the ground facing it. He slid behind her, keeping his arms around her as he gently leaned her half-way onto the bed. "I love you," he whispered quietly into her ear as he leaned over her. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma's ear twitched slightly as Herald got close to it again and spoke. She giggled before kissing Herald once more. "Alright, I will," she replied back. "Or I'll try at least," she teased back. ☾

☽ ((time skip about 9 hours))
Night time came and then went as the dark sky in the territory began to light up. Emma slept quietly with the sheets wrapped around herself. She seemed rather comfortable in the position she was in. She was still a little exhausted from their time in the future as well as the activities her and Herald went through the night before so the very peaceful and relaxed expression on her face as she slept was justified. ☾

Never Again...Herald was asleep as well, laying under the covers with his head on the pillow. The realm was keeping in time with the real world and the morning was arriving quickly. The both of them did deserve a long rest after everything they had experienced in the future and the fun they'd had definitely facilitated their deep sleep. Herald knew the day of their wedding was approaching and they needed to decide what to do, but for now he was enjoying the peace of sleep without the worries of the world. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma slept motionlessly for another half an hour or so before her ear twitched and she buried her face in her pillow. She sighed into it before moving her head again as she looked up and out the window on her side. Emma blinked a few times, obviously still drowsy before she sat up and yawned, rubbing the back of her neck and then her head. She made a face as she could feel the knots and cowlicks in her hair before quietly slipping out of bed and walking to the bathroom. She didn't want to wake Herald up so she did her best to make as little noise as possible. Once Emma was in the bathroom, she cringed at what a knotted mess her hair was and grabbed a brush. When she was still in the past and in the labs, her hair had been kept short. It was much easier to take care of back then as she recalled it. Emma ran the brush through her hair, wincing slightly as she hit a few knots. ☾

☽ -timeskip-
Over the past few months, the room that was supposed to be the library continuously grew with books. Quite a few of them had to do with wedding stuff though. Emma went into the planning of their wedding having no idea what to really do so she ended up buying books, reading them, and then jotting every bit of helpful info down in a notebook she had. Today, after about four hours of planning, Emma's wedding info cramming had finally caught up with her. She lay sleeping on the couch with the notebook next to her and pen still in hand. A couple of books were sprawled out around her too. It was amazing that she had been able to sleep since there was a lot of stuff buzzing through her head. What food should there be? What cake? Who should come? Where should it be held? Where was the honeymoon going to be? Emma wasn't even really sure what to do for her wedding dress and she had yet to even ask Herald if he had any ideas for what he was going to wear. It was a bit stressful. ☾

Never Again...Herald walked into the library where he saw Emma sleeping. He tried to be quiet but of course he was big enough that his footsteps made noise whenever he walked. He looked around the room at the books spread open across the table and the notepad that Emma had with her. His breathing was still slightly heavy. He wasn't wearing his shirt and his chest was slick with sweat. He'd clearly been training again as he often did. He had kept an intense regimen despite how peaceful things had been recently. His strength had grown in direct proportion and he was more fearsome than ever in combat. He smiled down at her, imagining how excited she must be about the wedding. He was trying to think of something he could do to help but he was honestly more clueless on the entire thing than Emma was and he wasn't much good at research. Will I be bound in chains
