"Sure thing, sir." Said Alva was sweet smile. Granted she was saddened that Benjamin himself rejected her, but she would have to get over it. She without much effort, she picked up two of her fallen people and held them under her arms. Benjamin helped his sister carry one while Elric carried a fourth on his back. "Good luck on your end, Nina. Watch what you say to whatever is in there. You just got out of one battle already."

Elric nodded his head and followed the others back into town. Meanwhile, Nina had a job to do at the temple's altar. Unlike the other, this one was in a cave. As Nina would get nearer, the barrier would prevent Turada from going any further as well.

The cave began to shake the moment the crystal was set down in it's proper place. From the ground appeared a large rock. Shattering, a large scorpion was summoned and gripped the bridge leading to the altar. It was Quatuor's Guardian. It's voice was that of a female.

"I, am Qdyite (Q-Dith). State thy name, crystal, molded into child." Much like Dyteiq, she spoke in the Quintu's ancient language.

"I know as to why you are here. Why do you continue to follow such a fruitless path, my child? Had not my brother warned you that you cannot defeat him?" She asked Nina in a soft spoken and endearing voice. She spoke such words only to encourage her to continue giving it it her all.

She did not agree with her, after all, she knew something Nina had not. Nina allowed her own untamed power to run rampant during the final moments of that fight.

"Have you really been doing a good job?"

Qdyite's scorpion tail lowered just above Nina's head. It showered her with a healing light and restored her lost strength & repaired the battle damage of her armor. If there was to be a fight, she would not put Nina at an unfair disadvantage. Nor was she not without mercy. Realizing what Turada was trying to do, she extended the range of the barrier.

"Do me the service of showing me just how much resolve you have. Show me just how much you have to live. As you are, I cannot say I may have misjudged you."

The deity ignored the pleas of Turada. It was for his own good and safety that he was as far from this battle as possible.

"I am ready."

Qdyite gave a loud ear piercing screech. Little did Nina know, this would be an attack in itself. From above, the rocks began to crumble from the ceiling and fall towards the bridge that made their arena. Some were even heavy enough to put holes into it.

The rocks barely missed the nimble and agile Nina. That was to be expected if she got passed her brother's trials. Well, lets see how she got past poison fired from her scorpion tail. Qdyite was a great shot, taking aim, she fired repeatedly at Nina. To make things more difficult for her, the deity swung her left arm across the bridge.
