Garnet was honestly glad that his grandmor decided to come with him, but then it was because his mother was very busy today about her job in the Wizengamot- not that he could complain. He's twelve, he was sure that he shouldn't be complaining about that when she was doing her job as someone who was bringing justice and whatever ruckus there was. Also, Uncle Lazuli had a spell backfire in his job as a Spell Inventor and had to go to the hospital for a few days, or weeks. Sheesh, if Uncle Laz could just listen to Uncle Topaz about not doing his inventing in the hidden basement none of that could have happen, yet here they were. On the bright side, at least he was alive and recovering, and just a minor backfire so... That was something.
The young Slytherin and his grandmother Ester arrived at the station with ease. The old Norwegian woman was in her mid-fifties, yet she stood tall and proud like a pureblood woman from Durmstrang she was. Hell, at this point she could probably still pass in her mid-forties, at least that was what Uncle Topaz told him last week. Of course, even with his grandmother's intimidating aura, she has a caring heart deep inside- basically why Garnet and her were close to each other. Aside from Ester, Garnet's cousin Esmeralda came along with them too since she demanded to know what the train looked like. The young six-year-old cousin was small and petite- with long black hair like her mother's and bright green eyes like her father's; which was basically why she got the name that was literally translated as 'emerald'. The problem was, she was kind of distant to Garnet since well... It was a long story they shouldn't speak of, but one thing for sure it was all thanks to Garnet's dad. Like wow, thanks dad for ruining everything.
That thought alone made Garnet frown which Ester saw immediately so she told him, "Now, now, dearest. Now is not the time especially when you're starting school. What troubles you?" Garnet shrugged, but the woman was among the few people he could actually trust and be open with so he answered with ease, "Sorry, it's just... I dunno, I'll miss you guys again" Then, she hugged him as she was surprisingly affectionate for someone who was tough and stern-looking. "Worry not, we'll do our best to keep in touch, okay? Just, try and make friends, if you can of course"
"But I already got friends, you know." Garnet told her, rather stiffly- but it wasn't like she was used to it. Well sure, Lucy could be a bit lazy but she was really nice and friendly- Deaus was a weirdo about ghosts and stuff but he's smart and caring- While Richard could be way cheerful and a bit assertive about dragging him out the house but- geez, it wasn't like he wasn't going to stir crazy!

The Bailey Family... Logan/////////////////Claire////////////////Emma//////// Store Manager//////Mother & Wife/////////Hufflepuff///// Location: Platform 9ยพ Emma walked onto the platform her luggage in hand. Her hair was back to its normal length if not longer then it had been. Though her attire was the same dark style it had been the year before. The only differences were the autumn leaf earrings and the mood-ring that adorn her finger. Both were gifts from her father after the conversation they had at the beginning of the summer. Things went on as normal for Emma as she went about the rest of her summer. Though, she did get to see her friends, which was an improvement from years past. Speaking of friends Emma had dropped her stuff at loading and was now searching the station for them. It was still early since her uncle had to drop her off before getting to the school. Though, usually she could find at least one of her friends before the rush.
As Emmaโs eyes moved across the station she spotted someone she never thought sheโd see, her father. Eyes wide and jaw dropped she wasnโt expecting her parents there to see her off. โM honey, we came to see you before you leave.โ Claire said with a smile. Logan on the other hand looked like he wanted to run out of there like a grizzly bear was about to kill him. โHey mum... dad... Iโm just surprised to see youโฆ both hereโฆโ She added looking at both her parents. โWe just wanted to see you.โ Logan said taking a breath. โI donโt need to go into work until later.โ He added with the faintest of smiles. โOh, well itโs good to see youโฆโ Emma said pausing for a moment. โUm... how did you...?โ
โHow did I get your father pass the barrier?โ Claire finished with a smile. Looking to her husband, Logan only glanced at her. The barrier was a fun experience and by fun it was a nightmare. โI might have given him a light push.โ She admitted. โDid you really?โ Emma said in surprise. โYes, she didโฆ and I personally didnโt like it.โ Logan answered his daughter. โIโm glad you came.โ She told him with an honest smile. He was definitely trying to make a difference.

โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Mackenzie Hawthorne Gryffindor - Third Year - Thirteen Years Old - Reserve Chaser - Halfblood - Adopted โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ After hours โ yes, literally hours โ of choosing what to wear, Mackenzie finally did it. She put together the perfect back to school outfit. It was comfy, yet stylish. Young, but not too young. Last year, she went with an outfit that practically screamed she was a kid. Now, she was coming back to school a teenager. Her mum even let her put on some make up! Okay, it was just mascara and nail polish, but still! Besides, that didnโt stop her from sneaking a few lip glosses, eye liner and cover up into her luggage. Eye liner was hard to apply and although she didnโt get to practice very much (seeing as she had to hide it from Ariana), Tassy still showed her how to put it on without it looking smudged and crooked. Tassy was the ultimate make up guru.
Arriving at the platform, the brunette hugged and kissed her mum goodbye before stepping through the brick wall with Xylo perched in her cage. Blue eyes fell onto the scarlet red train before they eagerly scanned the area, looking for particular twins โ theyโd be bringing their sister to Hogwarts this year and Mackenzie was excited to meet her. The more, the merrier! Connor would also be bringing his service dog Sadie, and Mackenzie, being a dog lover and all, couldnโt help but be excited to see her favourite canine again. No matter how annoying her cousins were and she didnโt wanna see them get a dog while she couldnโt, she still hoped uncle Joey would give in and get one because that meant sheโd have an animal companion to play with every holiday. Kenzie made sure to keep her eyes peeled for not only the twins, but for Saio, her best friend from Hufflepuff. She missed her a lot and couldn't wait to catch up about their summers.

โ๐ข๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ฑ ๐จ๐๐ช๐ป ๐ข๐ต๐๐ฝ๐ฑ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ทโง Tessa had spent the morning finalizing her packing and making sure she looked good. Her uniform was in a small bag so she could easily change on the train. After donning some makeup to make her eyes look all smoky and dramatic, the teen fluffed up her hair, going for a classic model style. Nothing could go wrong, right? She wriggled into her new boots, then slinked downstairs to use the floo. She grabbed the powder and sighed, not ready to step into a hectic environment. Alas, the girl had to go to school, so through the floo she went. Tessa walked across the platform, standing near the train with crossed arms. Wสแดแด แด

If you listen just right, you can almost hear it; The symphony of secrecy, life, and fear... The search for love, but finding fear- Like a moth to the flame we become helpless, To the beautiful ghost that true love sheds. ๐๐ข๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ muggleborn โ first year โ unsorted
Lydia was convinced she'd felt a wave of revulsion and unease sweep over her as soon as she nervously darted through the barrier. Her parents had refused to follow her and her sister through, her father muttering something about the gates of Hell. To be fair, it had just been a plain old metal barrier, but she understood where he was coming from. She didn't belong on this platform. She didn't belong here at all. She practically clung onto Esther, terrified of losing the older girl in the unfamiliar crowd. Every few moments she looked around quickly before resuming staring at her feet, not wanting to get caught. She didn't see any horns or tails or anything like that, just a sea of seemingly ordinary, for the most part, looking children and parents, although their clothing was odd. She carefully smoothed the skirt of her brand new uniform. Mum said it was important to look her most modest today, to set an example the same way Essie set an exam, not just for the other girls but for the rest of the students in general. She needed to keep God closer than ever, especially in unfamiliar territory. Lydia had been trying to think of this like a mission trip, but all she felt was resentment and fear. She wasn't supposed to be here. She didn't practice witchcraft, no matter what anyone said. She didn't worship Satan, or conjure up evil spirits, or wish harm on others. Except whoever had written that stupid letter that was the reason she was here. Dad and Mum already treated her differently, the same way they treated Essie. Like she wasn't their Liddie anymore, the baby of the family. They acted like she'd become someone else overnight, someone they were outwardly polite to, but wary of, even reproachful of. It wasn't as if she'd ever done any of it on purpose! Fully convinced of her own martyrdom, Liddie glanced up at Esther. "I'm sitting with you on the train," she insisted. We all are running our very own races, Set upon the most dangerous of places. We are left with a void in our chests we're aching to fill... The doves come to gather our every need; they lift them up- To Heaven through the mouths from which we speak.

โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Peter was not happy to be back at the platform. His last year at Hogwarts was miserable and he wasn't looking forward to going for a round two. He partially hoped that he could stay back home for the rest of the year and try homeschooling, even if he had to deal with his brainless sister, but going back to school was something his grandparents were adamant on. He tried to stall it as much as possible, but eventually he had to cross the barrier with his cart and entered the crowded platform. Wrinkling his nose, Peter pushed his cart through the overly enthusiastic students to the Express, before struggling to pull his trunk onto the train. He dropped the trunk and paused to catch his breath, glowering at everyone and everything. I already want this to be over with...

โโโขโโกโฃโโ โปโโกโขโฃ โโโโก Dris happily walked onto the platform, excited about going to school. After saying all his goodbyes, he left to go off in search of someone he knew. Not only that, but he wanted to put his trunk somewhere out of the way. He wandered around, honestly hoping he'd find Skylar or maybe Beckah. He looked around, admiring all the people he saw. His messy hair was flecked with a pretty periwinkle blue, which Milo had spent nearly half an hour that morning trying to scrub free. Unfortunately, since Dris had gotten a set of acrylic paints for his birthday, the paint was a lot harder to remove from hair, clothes, skin... the dogs... He chuckled as he walked, thinking about all the painting he'd be able to do in a huge castle. Not to mention, he'd been informed that there was a minimal amount of carpeting at Hogwarts, which meant he'd be able to paint anywhere! While he was pondering his next project, the brunette walked square into someone, falling backwards onto his bum for the second time since summer began. He looked up with a silly grin, giggling a bit. "Haha! Sorry 'bout that! Clarice smiled as she skipped through the barrier, her wand tucked away and her brother following behind her. Rick was looking a bit less than enthused, but Clarice figured it was because she wasn't going to be at home anymore where she was safe and sound. No, she'd be going to school, and the redhead was happy that she'd be able to meet other kids her age. She didn't know that many from Hogsmeade, and her trips around Little Hangleton weren't really all that good for meeting new people. She knew her brothers, and she knew her uncle, and she knew Jaslyn and Chy. That was as far as her knowledge of people went. She smiled as she passed people, but she wasn't sure how to actually talk to them, so she didn't try. Thankfully she and Rick reached the train to deposit her trunk before she looked at her brother.
"Now Clare, just remember, you behave on the train, got it?"
"Yes Rick."
"And don't go picking fights, understand? I don't want to hear about that sort of thing, got it?"
"I understand. Gosh, you sound like my dad or something."
Rick froze with an odd expression on his face, which confused Clarice for a moment before the look disappeared. He then shook his head and sighed. "Considering I've been basically raising you, I shouldn't be surprised I sound like your dad."
Clarice ended up hugging her brother around the middle. "I'll behave. No arguing, and no trouble. I promise." She watched her brother nod quietly and wave her off before he left, and Clarice was left on her own. She didn't know anyone, and she couldn't just approach people to talk, right? Maybe she'd get lucky and someone would approach her? But what would she say? The thoughts turned around and around in her head, making her wonder and consider whether she was making a good choice.

โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Peter was almost not surprised when some kid ran into him before falling down; he didn't expect that this day would go peacefully and this was like the cherry on top of his blasted day. However, that didn't stop all the frustration that Peter had accumulated since last year from suddenly pouring out and he turned to the boy, incensed. "What is wrong with all of you? It's not hard at all to watch where you're going, you can't all be blind!" He took in the boy's appearance, all splattered in paint like an overgrown KG student, and snorted in disgust. "Preschool is that way, " he pointed out, "I don't think you belong here on this platform, not if you can't even be bothered to clean up properly, and especially not without supervision. How come your parents were allowed to raise you if they can't be expected to take care of their brats properly?" At least his mum and dad left him in care of his grandparents and uncle and they looked after him properly.

โบฦฌะฝฮนัโ ฦณัฮฑั Rฮฑฮฝัฮทcโฮฑฯโบ โบSฮฑโฮนัโบ Connor sighed as he wandered onto the platform. His brother and sister were still on the other side, but he wanted to make his way through the crowd. He hadn't been very sociable the past several days, ever since his confrontation with Rowan's mum. He'd probably managed to land her in tons of trouble, and of course it would all be his fault! No way he wanted her to be mad at him! Plus what if she decided she didn't want to talk to him anymore? He rather enjoyed the girl's company, even when she was being, as she put it "bitchy". The teen adjusted his trunk, letting Sadie guide him safely toward the train. If he were being honest, he wanted to find Rowan and beg forgiveness, but he was trying to hide the feelings. It didn't help that Colton had been teasing him, saying he had a crush on the Slytherin. Surely that wasn't what it was.... y'know, if he were being honest. Sแด แด

Treva's hair was slowly turning the color of the bruise on her left eye, but the hair and the bruise had two different explanations. The hair was because Tad and Mam wouldn't shut up. Treva, don't do this. Treva, don't do that. Treva, don't try to climb on top of the moving train. Treva, don't harass your sister and distract her from her prefect duties. Treva, don't eat so much candy you puke. Treva, don't throw your puke at people. Treva, don't terrify your soon to be classmates. Treva, don't try to swim in the lake. Treva, don't drown anyone. Treva, don't make a scene at the Sorting. Treva, sit at the correct table. Treva, don't 'get lost' your first night at Hogwarts. Treva, do not stay up until three am pretending to be possessed. It was all a bit much. Adding to her irritation was the fact that Di had managed to slip away after a hasty goodbye, taking advantage of Tad and Mam's distraction. She'd get her for this, Little Miss 'Oh I Have to Go Be a Prefect Now, Toodles'. Right. She was probably off bitching with her psycho friends somewhere, so they could all commiserate about their angsty summers and how awful life was. Well, Treva was an optimist. That was why she'd enticed Gwenda Kendrick into punching her in the face the day before yesterday. You know injuries gave you? A story. And a spotless victim card. Maybe she'd get lucky and they'd all think her parents hit her. 'Oh, Treva, come sit with us, tell us about your shitty childhood'. Of course, getting punched in the face had hurt, a lot, but, whatever, you know. "I get it," she moaned. "Dylech, i Dduw, dim ond yn gadael i mi ei ben ei hun. Rydych chi'n mor llym gyda fi!" She jutted one cheek out dramatically to her audience, which consisted of her parents, and several suspicious onlookers. Treva tilted her sunglasses down with a small gasp. "Look what they did to me!" The onlookers glowered. Her parents turned to hastily reassure them that they did not, in fact, abuse their children. She took this as a chance to escape into the crowd, blowing a mocking kiss goodbye. The sweet, slightly sweaty smell of freedom. She'd been born for this. An older student promptly elbowed past her scrawny form, sending her skittering towards a ginger with so many freckles she looked like she'd been artillery shelled. Regaining her balance, she lifted a hand in greeting. "What's up, Sinsir?" OOC: "Please, God, just leave me alone. You're so strict with me!" "Ginger" Letting people down is my thing- Baby, find yourself a new gig! This town ain't big enough for two of us. I don't have the right name; Or the right looks... But I have twice the heart.

โโโขโโกโฃโโ โปโโกโขโฃ โโโโก Dris was still awkwardly chuckling when the boy started talking, but very quickly, the younger boy lost his laughter. As he stood back up, the boy mentioned something about them all being blind, and offered a look of confusion. Dris had great vision! Well... except that one time he got paint in his eye. That was a very terrible doctor visit. When the boy mentioned preschool being a certain way, Dris turned his head to try and see if there were an actual preschool around, only to figure the kid was joking. He wouldn't even have been mad if the other kid hadn't accused Dris of having bad parents. "My parents are fine. And I'm covered in paint because I'm an artist, you see? I see the creativity in the world! Besides, you sound very brown, and not even a good hue!" Dris rubbed his eyes a bit, wanting the permeating color to go away. This kid wasn't very nice, so he shouldn't have a spot in Dris' mental color bank. If he didn't keep his mouth shut, Dris would ensure it wasn't a good day. Return of the Mack, get up! What it is, what it does, what it is, what it isn't. Looking for a better way to get up out of bed Instead of getting on the Internet and checking a new hit me. XXXXXXXXXXX Gryffindor Sixth Year แฆ Halfblood แฆ Single โโโโโโโโโโโโโ Annie ran through the barrier like she normally did leaving her uncle and his fiancรฉ behind. She had officially moved into the flat and she had felt both awkward and relieved having someone else there while her uncle was at work on days circulation. The older woman though apparently didn't know how to handle teens because she kept asking what she wanted to do or if she wanted to do something when really some days all she wanted to do was sleep until noon and watch Netflix, like, teens aren't very complex creatures really. Give them wifi, food, and space and they'd thrive like an orchid in a hot house. Still, she had clearly been trying for Jordan's sake so she wasn't completely mean or rude, but that didn't mean she wasn't hella relieved to get out and go to a whole other continent. After making sure everything had made it through and that Stuart was happily nesting in his new makeshift pouch she had gotten for him over the summer snug down in her backpack, Annie looked around for her friends to sit with. She quickly spotted Emma standing with two very unfamiliar adults so she sorta had to figure they were her parents. Rude but that was what she was going with. The teen quickly navigated her way over to them with a large grin and when she was close enough she called out her friend's name in warning before pulling her in for a hug. "Emma! I swear it feels like I haven't seen you in foooorreevverrr! Letters an texts are soo not enough! And you look hot AF as usual might I add. Lovin' the lace gloves, will probably figure out a way to steal them, just so you know." Annie informed her teasingly taking in her new black ensemble. Besides the gloves she absolutely adored the dress if only because it had pockets and who didn't love a dress that was cute and functional?! She finally turned her attention to the adults and addressed them with the manners her parents had partially imbedded in her. "Hi! I'm Anna-Marie Curts, but I just mainly go by Annie." โโโโโโโโโโโโโ โฏWearing โฏWhere ~ Platform โฏWith ~ Emma and...people โฏWhat ~ Getting on the train Get up! Richard Indigo Devereux Third Year Gryffindor Black Sheep of the Family Location : Platform 9ยพ
Richard had arrived on the platform with not only his mother and sister but his cousin. He wanted nothing more than to run and hide. Preferable find his friends and get as far away from Julius as possible. Which was harder then it sounded. Going through the barrier and landing onto the platform he looked behind him to see Julius and then his mother and sister. โRichie! Wait up!โ He heard Aurora call out before chasing him down. โOh godโฆโ He thought as she ran over stopping as she grabbed a hold of his trolley. โWould you stopโฆ?โ Richard muttered as his cousin pushed his trolley past him.
Julius only looked at the two. Richard knew that Julius was only with them because his parents were too busy to take him. โJulius, have a good time. Make some friends.โ Poppy spoke over the crowd in her usually sickly sweet voice. โI will Aunt Poppy. Thank you for the travel assistance.โ He said before pushing his trolley to where the rest were. โKeep an eye on your cousin.โ Poppy told her son. โMum please heโs the heir. I donโt think he needs me to look out for him. In fact Iโm sure heโd prefer I didnโt.โ Richard answered his motherโs request honestly. Aurora since being told to stop was still pouting like a five year old. In all fairness she was a six so five wasnโt a far cry.
โRichie,โ Poppy went to say but Richard stopped her. โIโll be sure to write. See you guys at Christmas.โ He said racing off. โRichie!โ Aurora cried scurrying after him. โAurora go back to mum.โ He demanded. Suddenly he was tackled in a huge. โIโll miss youโฆโ She said squeezing hard. โRoraโฆ Iโll miss you too alright. Now go back to mum before you get lost.โ He told her. The six year old nodded before scurrying back to their mum.
Richard rolled his eyes as he pushed his trolley to its usual spot. โSee you at school Cinnamon.โ The bird chirped in reply before the red headed boy headed over to a familiar neighbor. โHey Garnet!โ Richard greeted his best friend. โHello Mrs. Mortemer and Esmeralda.โ He greeted the other two. โWe ready for another year?โ He asked Garnet happily. "Because, I know I am." He was already dressed in his school uniform just minus the robes. Honestly he was simply too lazy to change when they got to Hogsmeade station.
Status : Trying to get away... With : Garnet
Attire : Gryffindor Uniform

Not afraid to be different! Well isn't that refreshing! Your family may be Slytherin, but I think you'll find your way in... Gryffindor!

ัะฝ YeฮฑrโฎGryาาฮนษดdorโฎCะฝฮฑัerโฎ โฎPreาecัโฎฮฑษดdโฎCฮฑpัฮฑฮนษดโฎ Gid made his way to the platform, awaiting being able to simply apparate next year. It was a rather long walk from the door to the platform. Normally, such a walk wouldn't bother him, but with the addition of his trunk, dog, and extra stuff, it was a rather difficult march through the station. When he got close to the train, Gid left his trunk, pretty sure no one was going to take it. Scoots lazily looked around, but she was settled on her comfy blanket in Gid's backpack carrier. After lightening his load, the teen wandered around, looking for a certain somebody. Surely Rhys was there first. Not only was his family magical, but he was known for being very punctual. Actually, the brunette was more than excited to see his boyfriend. He was hoping Rhys had elected to drop a few classes so they could have some time to spend together without either feeling left out. And in the time of the classes Rhys was still in, Gid could spend time with Jazzy and the rest. No way was he going through the hell of accidentally isolating his friends ever, ever again. Wสส แด
