Kenneth took another swig of the rum even though he was full of self hate and other negative emotions, he felt just a tiny bit better that someone felt sorry for him. He looked into her face and muttered "thanks I, er appreciate the sympathy. I er" However Kenneth was unable to get the rest of the words out because at that moment Professor Cerise interpreted their conversation when she yanked the bottle of rum out of his hand. That much he was able to process, the rest however took much longer for him to process what was actually happening. He could see that Aya and Cerise were arguing over the table, but their words meant nothing to him, seeing as he was too encased in own self hate to actually pay attention.
He finally managed to push past what the Muggles called the 'Fog of War' and began to understand what was going on. He could understand that Aya was defending him, that he had a right to mop where he pleased, and that it shouldn't matter what Kenneth did it wasn't Cerise's problem. It seemed that Cerise was upset that Kenneth was moping at the Professor's table in front of the other students, that he's actions here were going to tarnish her image in someway. He quickly jumped to his feet his anger now pushing the hate and despair he had been feeling into a dark corner. "I don't give give a bloody damn what you like Cerise! You can take your French all prim and proper nonsense and shove it. I will do what I please where I please." He lashed out his left hand, seeing as his right hand resting on the hilt of his wand, and stanched back the bottle of Rum from Cerise's grasp.

Meiko heads to the edge of the Ravenclaw table and sat onto the chair with her usual happy look on. She took a sip of her pumpkin juice and munched some delicious cookies. "Hmm... I heard he's here, but he hasn't shown up to me yet."

He hums a tune as he enters the hall. As Devon was about to sit somewhere in the middle of the Hufflepuff table, he noticed a familiar girl, sitting in the last row of the Ravenclaw table.
"Yo, how come you're all alone eating breakfast, huh?" He cheerfully said with a wide grin, approaching Meiko briskly.

Meiko halted from eating and turned her around, standing up. She smiled happily, running towards her childhood playmate and giving him a hug. She said as she released Devon from her arms. "It's been a long time, Devon~ How're you? I see you're in Hufflepuff."

Devon hugged her back, and said back to Meiko smiling. "Yeah, it has... I'm doing alright and I guess I'll be seeing you almost everyday too."

"Yup... well, let's just talk more later. Have to finish breakfast and go to class... later?" Meiko said with a small smile as she started to walk away from Devon, going back to her place in the Ravenclaw table.

Ayamae jumped as Kenneth suddenly sprung to life. She noticed that his hand was resting on his wand, and at that point, she feared a little bit for Cerise, no matter how much she may have needed a good hexing. She placed a hand on Ken's shoulder and tried to gently get him to sit back down.
"C'mon Ken, you don't want to do this...too many witnesses you know..."
She chuckled nervously, feeling a little sick.

Alright... I'll be seeing you." Devon said with a smile as he watched her go back to the Ravenclaw table. He went to the Hufflepuff table and sat by the center. He got some pumpkin juice and guzzled some of it, noticing Meiko from afar finishing her breakfast.

Meiko was seated back in the Ravenclaw table, finishing her food. After a few minutes, she had already finished her breakfast. She stood up, giving Devon a small wave before exiting the hall with a friendly grin on her face.

Devon waved back and saw her disappear from the hall. He thought as he ate breakfast. "Speaking of classes, I should go and attend to my classes later..."
After a few moments of eating, Devon heads off.

Kenneth felt Aya's hand resting on his shoulder and then heard her soft warning about witnesses. As much as Kenneth wanted to hex Cerise into oblivion he knew that it wouldn't make him feel any better about what happened. "Your right Aya, let's go have our drink someplace else." He glared at Cerise his hand still near his wand as he walked around the table and said "let's go down to one of the nicer dungeon rooms, that way we wont upset the delicate Frenchie here," and marched down the hall toward the entrance hall.

Ayamae breathed a sigh of relief, and after casting one last glare at Cerise, she followed Kenneth out of the hall to the dungeon.

Cerise merely laughed, the sound much more pleasant than expected. She raised an eyebrow at Ayamae's glare, but resisted the urge to wave them off. She had won, in her mind. Pure and simple. The wreck was some place that was easily away from the prying eyes of students, as he should be. Once he pulled himself together, she was sure he'd understand. He seemed to be a responsible person, who's career was ahead of him. He could go far if he stopped letting trivialities ruling his life. The only thing that had gone wrong was during their 'confrontation' students had noticed. But that was inevitable. For the time being at least, until the proper respect to the school was given. She began to eat, thankful of the peace that now seemed to settle over her.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra poked her head into the Great Hall, grazing the room for the slightest hint of Kenneth's presence. She looked at the teachers table and saw that it was remotely empty, lacking Kenneth and Ayamae in the rows. Fear flooded her and replaced her emptiness with worry about them developing a sort of attatchment for each other. Perhaps it was for the best. In Aludra's mind he deserved a better woman then she could be. She slunk into the eating hall and made her way to the Slytherin table, but she didnt feel nor look like the Slytherin she was. Her hair was a dull dishwater color and her eyes were pools of dull murk. Aludra's once luminous pale skin was now a sunken color of failure and defeat. She sat down at her usual spot in the table line and looked over the glorious spread. Everything looked so good but... something inside her held her back from eating. She didnt have the desire to do anything. Aludra picked a roll from the basket on the table and broke it into tiny pieces, popping each one into her mouth. It tasted stale and hard as it created a lump in her throat... its seemed nothing was going to be alright. ...7th Year Slytherin

"Thiz school iz going to be ze death of me." I gasped as I finally approached the mess hall. Those damn stairs were not merciful while I was on them, I had very nearly gotten lost in them. Seems I have been away longer then I intended but home life neededmy presence more then this second rate school. Straightening out my house robes I began to scan the Hall for any sign of a familiar face. I found many cute faces that I remembered in my time here before, not no brilliant emerald eyes.
With a sour expression on my face I slowed down my walk and began my scan of the Slytherin table. My little dearie had to be in here somewhere... or at least some woman I could toy with. Then, I saw her. Nothing I could have done would have prepared me for the shock I just felt. "Aludra?" I mumbled in an under voice. Her features weren't as lovely as before, the color was drained from them all. "Vot haz happened to you? You look like you hoff been hit with ze Crucio.." I sat down across from her and stared hard at her face. Even as hideous as she looked now I found myself desireing her. Its a shame she picked that filthy Half-Blood pig Reynolds.
