[Nick :: Narnia :: Grand Hall]
"Thank you, Teacher. I shall not fail you or the Meister again. I have one question before I go." Nick bowed once again, then rose and gave his teacher a curious glance. His outfit began changing back to his disguise.
"Who is the group fighting against? I'd rather have an idea so I don't get burned horribly like I did with Sephiroth." Nick couldn't help but grimace at the name, remembering how badly he had been attacked by Sephiroth's spell.

[Joe: The Challenger]
Joe facepalmed after the anchor was up. Of course, Heartless and their perfect timing. What else could go wro-BOOM!
Oh, one of the heartless could shoot a cannon ball near him. That could go wrong.
"Goddammit. Time to do my specialty, anyway."
Joe leaped up into the air with his air step platforms, and stayed aloft that way while he took on the air pirates. Twisting and turning and swinging his staff and feet in a series of aerial acrobatics, his hair whipping around in the wind that automatically started to encircle him as protection.
[Azrael: Lugae's Lab -> Angel Grove: City]
Az frowned after Elleon left, and Lugae seemed to ignore his presence. Apparently, he wasn't getting that flamethrower. Wonderful. F*** it. Don't matter. But that portal definitely was a nice way into the city. And from there, the beach.
Walking through it, the replica immediately felt the rumbling and jumped, floating off the ground till it stopped. Damn...Elleon gets to work fast.
"OI! The hell is going on?!" he yelled out when the quaking stopped, landing on the ground and running towards Elleon and the group, hair blown back from the wind that had kept him aloft. Of course, that running stopped when he saw...a pink and brown power ranger? With guns, no less.
"The hell is going on?" he asked, scratching his exposed midriff as the cape attached to his jacked shifted slightly with the movement. Of course, any who know of Joe and Azrael would immediately see Azrael's clothing and know it was him. Of course, the others....

[Tortuga ~ The Challenger]
Jack took a moment to stop his goofy wind dance to look back and check their progress. The ship had just cleared the docks and was on its way out to sea. That was a relief. He turned back to the helm and took hold of the wheel.
"Just keep going, lads." He called out encouragingly, hoping to be annoying because of his uselessness in the situation. "Show those feculant bastards what for!"
[Angel Grove ~ City]
"Hey princess, nice outfit." The replica snorted, looking Amy up and down. Pathetic . . .
Elleon summoned her spear and casually flourished it before sticking the blade in the ground. Azrael came up next to her and she tossed her golden hair from her face as she looked to him. "Looks like the beach is going to have to wait. The baby-sitters' club wants to make things difficult. They have a problem with flaming townsfolk or something . . ."

[Dawn : Tortuga : The Challenger]
Dawn's eyes, which were focused on the mast in front of her, twitched slightly as she saw a young man fly out of nowhere and hit the pole, before he fell to the deck below, yelling about his back.
'Well, he glomped that pole...' Dawn thought, remembering randomly what Bobbi used to say when she was poked in the leg.
~'Focus, Sunlight.'~
Dawn's eyes narrowed again as she put her focus back at the task at hand. She was trying to keep the wind strong, but she felt herself draining of energy that she was using to keep the wind steady.
'I am trying,' she said to Garuda as she continued to put wind into the sails, 'But I am not sure of how much longer I can do this.'
~'Just a little longer, you just made it off the port, shouldn't take much longer for you guys to lose the rest of these fiends.'~
Dawn nodded in response to her summon as she released all she could into the sails, in attempt to get the ship out to sea even faster. Also to avoid anyone getting hurt.
As her attention was drawn to the mainmast, one of the Flying Pirates that was able to break through the group that were fighting off the Heartless, flew down and swooped and hit Dawn in the head. Dawn fell to her knees both in pain and startled from the attack.

Jacob ll Tortuga ll The Challenger
Jacob's steely blue eyes traced the path of a cluster of air pirates as the zipped around, taking cover behind the battleships. One of them broke off and just as Jacob was going to put a dagger in it, the heartless knocked Dawn to the ground. Jacob's eyes furrowed and his goggles slid down over them. He dashed up, tick-tacked off the mast, grabbed the air pirate by it's scrawly little head and smashed it into the thick, hard railing of the ship. He scrabbled up the riggings and leaped out onto a battleship. "I'M SO VERY TIRED OF YOU GUYS!"Get down...be careful.Instead of landing on the small ship (and invariably getting knocked off), he clung to the The Challenger's rigging at the last second and threw a salvo of daggers at it, well within the effective range. Jacob recalled these things being notoriously tough.

[Stitch :: Angel Grove :: The City] Stitch twitched a little bit when he heard the voice of the weird creature (the Black Waltz) and instantly twisted himself in order to dodge the attack. He was starting to realize that this weird thingy had to be destroyed. The problem was how.
Stitch then started to think for one second before spotting a certain object close by. He quickly jumped over and went under the object before aiming it at the Black Waltz.
“Blue punch Buggy!!!” Stitch said cutely before throwing the huge car buggy at the Black Waltz. If the Black Waltz did not move, the giant car would hit it square in the chest and fall over. “No punch back!” Stitch finished by giggling before pulling out his gun again just in case the Black Waltz tried to attack Stitch one more time. _________ [Dani :: Angel Grove :: Teleporter -> City] Dani sighed as she entered her assassin state of mind. Her breath started to quiet in order to get herself in the mood of the assassin role that she was give. In a bright flash of light, Dani’s weapons appeared in her hands, twirling at a slow speed to warm her fingers up. This time, Dani felt that something was different. She was in a weird power ranger suit that seemed to have weird dragon scales around her neck and around her wrists. Besides that her suit actually looked like they had scale patterns in them along with the fact that the color of the suit was blue. ‘So this was what the others did in order to look like rangers,’ Dani thought to herself. She then felt herself teleport into the City that she had grown accustomed to for the last few days. The problem this time was the fact that the ground was shaking and everything was being torn apart. She instantly became worried that Jay would get killed in the attacks. Her hands started to shake with anger and fear at the same time as she observed the scene. Her eyes instantly locked onto the two people that seemed to be filled with evil as their vile words spilled from their mouths. Sadly she could not keep her emotions in check anymore. “You!” she growled at both of the beings, “What have you done to Jay?! If you hurt him… so help me god you will face my wrath!”

[Isle of Tortuga :: The Challenger]
The mage smiled sheepishly, feeling the heat creep onto her cheeks. She still didn't know how to handle compliments so she merely bobbed her head in thanks. For a second, her heart assumed the worst when someone rolled onto the deck, but only after she saw the accompanying poof of a heartless did she breathe a sigh of relief.
... Wait, I don't know any Final Fantasy character like that. Is he from Earth?
Jenny hardly had any time to question, or stare for that matter as the heartless seemed to double for every one they managed to take out. The musician knocked out a few more with some well-placed glyphs before running up to Noelle on deck, whose shoulder skimmed with a cannonball. "You alright Noelle?" Jenny summoned up a Reflect spell to veil over the agromancer. She watched as everyone scrambled above deck, taking out heartless, if the ship went down they'd all be doomed. Dawn! She's powering the ship at the moment! The melody strained and carried a little farther, before settling around the Tessen wielder to shield against further attacks.

[Dawn : Tortuga : The Challenger]
After getting hit the first time, Dawn raised her tessen, ready for the Heartless to attack her again. An attack she was ready for, that never came. Dawn looked up to find that it had already been defeated by Jacob. She smiled over at the Knife Thrower with a small smile. Then she heard a melody play in the air and a flash of a barrier surround her. She glanced over at the source, Jenny, giving another smile.
'Thanks, Jacob, Jenny.' Dawn thought as she started to get back onto her feet. A task that was a little wobbly at first, but managed to do. Dawn raised her fans back up at the mainmast. Dawn summoned the steady wind up into the sails once more.

[Anthony ~.~ Isle of Tortuga ~.~ The Challenger]
Anthony nodded at Kyle, both greeting him and acknowledging the present circumstance they were in. "Right!" Anthony said in agreement, shifting his attention from the boy to the eminent heartless threat around them. He managed to block many of the on-coming cannonballs the Cannon Heartless had fired; however, the several Air Pirate Heartless flying around were hard to keep track of, especially once the Battleship Heartless appeared above them.
"Ugh... this was so much easier when I was able to button-mash my way through mobs in the game!" the boy vented mentally.
The impact from one of the cannonballs deflecting off his gauntlets forced Anthony to turn and stumble back. Behind him, he noticed a young lady, the same blonde girl who created the earth ramp he leaped off of earlier, facedown on the deck after being clipped on the shoulder by a cannonball. He scampered onto his feet and rushed to her side; however, a another young lady with dark hair had managed to get to her first and cast a deflect spell. Regardless, Anthony stood in a defensive position in front of the two woman, his back turn to them.
Anthony looked over his shoulder at the young woman beside the blonde and asked, "Is she alright," then turned back just in time to block and knock back a swooping Air Pirate Heartless.

[Tortuga ~ The Challenger]
Noelle pushed herself up with her left arm, finding it hurt to move her right. Duh, just got punched in the shoulder by a giant metal ball. But she was back on her feet in no time, not really hindered by the slight injury aside from the pain. She was left-handed after all. The agromancer was about to tell Jenny that she was fine and it was nothing when 'new-boy' asked. She wrinkled her nose.
"Why don't you ask me? I'm not dead or anything." Came her sassy remark as she hefted up her weapon and speared a nearby heartless. "I'll be fine, it's just a bump."

{{Definitely herped and put this in the ATE thread by mistake. I fixeded it though.}}
{Kyle : The Betting Table -> The Dark Margin}
Kyle said nothing as Cory talked, not wanting to fall into a lull in his defense just because of some conversation. Cory could say whatever he wanted, that didn't mean that he was going to quit. And then the strange thing happened. Cory...quit. He surrendered. Out of all the things that Kyle had been expecting, that had most certainly not been it.
And when it was all over, they hadn't moved at all. He was still in the same place as before, except feeling quite a bit better. All of his wounds were gone, his hands weren't swollen, his body wasn't cut up, there was nothing wrong with him. All of his energy was back as well. Just what power is that? To completely heal the victors? Crazy...
Kyle was almost tempted to say something to Cory. Almost tempted to respond to his earlier words, before he'd quit. Almost. But Cory wasn't being that rude anymore. And he could think what he wanted. Let him think that Kyle was just foolishly pushing on, when that was all Cory seemed to do.
"I appreciate that Cory. Thank you. And you can feel free to call on me for one favor as well." He finished, glancing back at the ocean of darkness once more. It was so intriguing...but it wasn't worth falling into the darkness for. At least not yet anyways. Maybe someday it would be, possibly necessary, to explore.

[Cory .:. The Dark Margin]
Cory sighed, almost bored by the responses he'd gotten. He expected a bit more questioning about his goals, or about the Maximum Bet itself. Instead, they simply offered their aid whenever he should call upon it... Though he wasn't entirely sure he would find it useful. "Your hearts are racked with a fear of darkness... With a fear so deeply engraved into your beings, I don't know that I would find a use for you." With a wave of his hand, a dark portal leading back to the Jolly Roger opened up behind the ronin. Cory turned and began walking through it, stopping at its threshold as his nose twitched a bit.
What?... There's so much darkness pouring out from Angel Grove, almost like- "Replicas." The rogue clenched his fist as he looked over his shoulder at Kyle and Alan. "We were playing around for too long. Replicas have entered Angel Grove; two, maybe three of them." He reached inside his pocket and pulled out a single potion, downing it before smashing the vial on the ground.
"We're going back to my ship to stock up on items and pick up Timmy, and then we're going after the Replicas. I'm a lot stronger than before, and I'll be damned if even one of them gets away without a thorough a**-beating by yours truly. C'mon." With that, he went through the portal, coming out the other side into his private quarters...
[Hook's Ship .:. Cory's Room]
By the time Alan or Kyle entered the room, the cupboards would have all been flung open, a full arsenal of potions and ethers at the group's disposal. Cory downed one of the three elixirs he had stored, leaving the other two out for Kyle and Alan, and he crammed 2 hi-potions into his pockets. It's been long enough since the battle at the airship for my Bursts to have been restored. Due to the ethereal nature of the Maximum Bet, the Bursts I used hold no water in this corporeal plane. Only the pain and energy loss transfer over, not bodily strain or wounds such as the cuts or the trauma caused by Burst Movement... As well, Kyle and Alan were allowed recovery from the Bet, meaning they don't need to use their elixirs right now.
Cory walked over to the opposite wall of where he was, bringing his fist back for a moment before punching a small hole in the wall to Timmy's cabin. "Wake up, Timmy! Those Replicas have shown up and they're talkin' s**t about you!"

[Anthony ~.~ Isle of Tortuga ~.~ The Challenger]
"I... erm...," was all Anthony was able to muster up in response to what the young blonde said. His cheeks flared as he instantly felt rather embarrassed as to why he didn't ask her in the first place. "Well, um... I'm glad you're alright," he said, taking a moment to clear his throat, then continued, "Um... I think I'ma go, uh... that... way now... erm..." Anthony pointed his fingers in a random direction in a pistol-like fashion, wiggling his thumb as if it were the hammer of the gun, then sidestepped away after waving at the young ladies and saying, "Goodbye."
"Smooth move, Anthony... smooth...," Anthony thought to himself as he returned to fighting off Heartless.

[Alan :: The Dark Margin]
Alan's face twitched, forming a scowl for just a second. Fear of Darkness? Cory was definitely trying to get under his skin - and succeeding. The man was a habitual put-down artist, a fact that only added to the pile of conflicted feelings Alan was only mostly on top of. "Afraid of the Darkness? Yeah, whatever." His voice dripped with vitriolic irritation. Of course, he was afraid, in a manner of speaking. It wasn't a passionate, panicked fear, though - it was more like reasoned caution. On an emotional level, the Darkness called for him - beckoned to be possessed and used and subverted. However, Alan couldn't bring himself to justify treating lightly a force with so many unknown quantities - a force that destroyed worlds.
As for joining Cory, it was only Cory's rejection of pity that stopped Alan from declaring his allegiance then and there. Cory was in pain - Alan didn't doubt that - and in spite of everything, he drew out a strange sort of protective instinct in Alan. Alan wanted to be there for him, to help him through the Darkness, to ease his pain. . . but he knew those feelings were born of pity, and that Cory would never accept them. The fact that he had similar feelings towards Jon also influenced his thoughts - he couldn't bear to hurt his old friend, particularly now that he was in such obvious turmoil.
Alan's visible irritation only intensified as Cory detected replicas in Angel Grove. More fighting was not Alan's idea of fun right now - he had just woken up, the fact that the totality of the food he had eaten in the past day and a half was a scant third of an omelet was really starting to catch up with him. He lingered for just a second as Cory stepped through the portal, glancing at Kyle. He was still a little disoriented from waking. He kept touching his face and the side of his head like he expected to find something there if he just checked one more time. . .
[Hook's Ship :: Cory's Room]
Alan wordlessly arrived in Cory's quarters. He looked around for a second, then, on a whim, closed his eyes to hide the telltale discoloration and used Clarity to run a quick surreptitious scan of the area. Only for a second, though - he didn't want to miss someone speaking.
He was somewhat amused to note that the bet didn't seem to have left any lingering enchantments on any of them. Apparently, it was only ever a spell for isolating combatants and for healing the victors. All of these promises and caveats and debts seemed to be nothing more than words - there was absolutely nothing magically binding.
Of course, Alan would have followed through with his side of the deal regardless, had he lost.

{James : Tortuga : The Challenger} {{Cue : He's A Pirate(Combat)}} "Thank you for pointing out that fact Kyle! I wasn't serious!" He yelled back, taking aim and firing at another Air Pirate Heartless. His attention was drawn away from guarding Dawn though as more Heartless appeared, Battleships this time. He remembered these ship heartless all too well, they were tough in a fight. He opened fire on them, hoping to take them out before they could do any substantial damage to the ship. However, that is when Dawn got hit by an Air Pirate that knocked her down, he turned his hexagun to fire at it just as Jacob grabbed it and slammed it's head into the mast. James' attention was going to return to the battle when all of a sudden he saw someone soaring through the air... only to crash into the mast and hit the deck yelling about his back... 'Ouch... that had to hurt...' He thought, with a chuckle that accidentally slipped out. Everyone else's exclamations, confirmed his suspicions that he was another Earthling, the more the merrier. He would make sure to have proper introductions when the chaos was done. He wheeled around, facing the stern of the ship, pulling an elemental card from the deck box in his pocket. "Fire Shot!" He yelled, pulling the trigger, a fireball blasting from the barrels of his hexagun and engulfing one of the Battleships in flames. {Black Waltz : Angel Grove : City}
The Black Waltz's eyes narrowed coldly at Stitch as he managed to dodge the simply fire spell. It's attention not leaving the strange alien as it jumped on top of and then went under a blue car. The Waltz simply cackled as Stitch then threw the vehicle right at him.
"Pathetic!" It replied in it's eery whispery voice.
It conjured up a Firaga spell and unleashed it at the buggy. Effectively decimating the car and causing a massive explosion to go with it. It would then vanish from sight briefly only to reappear behind Stitch, it then unleashed two Fira spells from it's hands at the blue alien.
