*nods* That sounds like a good idea, to leave some undecorated. I think marascino cherries might be a bit too sweet, though. *pulls out a bowl to start making the icing*
FLUFFY WHITE ICING
3/4 c. vegetable shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
5 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. dry skim milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Beat for 10 minutes at high speed.

I think you're right, the cherries would be too sweet. *Pulls out the Red Hots and raisins, golden and dark ones.* Wow, it got busy in here.
