Shinku popped his neck quietly. "Alright then... I really feel like taking a walk instead... So the mall will work out well..." He stated simply. "You know you blush alot right?" He asked curiously seeing her red cheeks. He tried being friendly for once. "Try loosening up! I gotta learn to relax on every off day and just kick back because my next assignment could be my last..." He said simply with a friendly grin. He stood up and opened the door for her. "Come on..." He said simply.

Yuki nodded her head with a sigh. "I kn-know..." she said softly. Once again, one of the first things a person commented about was her constant blushing. It was usually either that or her faint voice. She looked up at him slowly, letting her eyes flick towards his face for the first time, and blinking in surprise as she saw he was smiling. How could he smile while saying something like that? She stared at him in confusion for a moment as he opened the door. Did he want her to come? Her eyes went to his guns just for a second before she bowed her head and got to her feet. Then she hesitantly walked towards him and past him, standing awkwardly in the hall as she waited.

She sighed as he had picked her up, she really felt like some helpless girl at the moment. She hated to feel like that and she hated it when people saw her like that, it was shameful. She looked up at him "My name's Aia...and it's not your fault I could have just declined, I was being hard headed" she said laughing slightly. She was actually a little nervous as she glanced down at her white tank top that had blood coming through it around her wound. She tried to cover it up with her hand besides she didn't want him to see it. "Sorry about me being a bother, I just never can learn my lessons it seems" she said giving a nervous laugh.

"Don't worry about it..." Kuro said and walked into the hospital. He walked up to the woman at the desk and was surprised when he was scrutinized first. "Mister Tenshi you have a massive history here... Some of our doctors are tired of your recklessness so please be more careful-" Kuro cut her off. "It's not about me... If you haven't noticed I'm carrying a young lady in my arms who happens to have suffered bullet wounds in her legs arms and stomach..." He said simply. The woman hit the intercom and called in the doctors of the emrgency room. "We have a patient who appears to be in serious condition... Get as many doctors as needed down here stat..." She said and said simply. "And Kuro Tenshi is back with what appears to be multiple gunshot wounds to his right wing..." She finished and doctors were in within five minutes picking Aia out of Kuro's arms and one ushered him off to a small operating room not as serious as the emergency room, where he was treated and walked out of with a roll of gauze around his wing.

"I-Its really not that serious..." she tired to tell the people that were rather forcefully carring her. She mumbled a slight ow as she then was knocked unconious and everything went black. Her eyes fluttered open later as she looked around and glanced at the clock that was hanging. She guessed it must have been only about half an hour or longer till the wounds were fixed. She sat up and glanced down, her tank top had been replaced with bandages that were wrapped around her. She looked around figuring that Kuro already left which was okay, she just had kind of wanted to see him again. It was foolish, she was being foolish, a slight smile came to her lips as she remembered how the nurses had reacted to seeing him. He must be a reagular she thought as she shook her head slightly and sat up fully streatching.

Kuro was back in the hospital after an hour or two. He had forgotten what time he was told to come back to see Aia, but he was here regardless. He walked back through with a new outfit of a black undershirt and a red and black tribal unbuttoned button up over it and his usual black jeans. He looked for Aia's room number quietly and found it walking in with a small bouquet of get well soon flowers behind his back. "Guess who..." He said quietly in his usual calm voice and took the flowers from behind his back placing them on her bedstand.

She turned her head suddenly, she then almost fell back as she got whiplash. She laughed and then smiled up at him "Hey...I thought you would have more important things to do" she said. She glanced at the flowers and smiled again a little brigter "There pretty, thanks Kuro"she said as she leaned over and placed one in her hair. She then pulled back her sheets, they had still left her pants though they were now shorts. She tried to stand up and placed her feet on the ground but upon doing so she fell straight into him again. "Ah....Sorry!" she said her face a little pink as she remembered that he had bullet wounds as well. "Um...your fine though right?" she asked him worried as she glanced at his back and ran her fingers over his wings for a moment.

Kuro looked at her kindly. "Don't worry about it... The most I got was this..." He said showing his black wing then folding them around himself. He didn't think much when she fell into him and just helped her stand. "You shouldn't over exert yourself... Besides I've got to go in a few minutes... I'm due for a meeting with an old friend..." He said lightly and gave her a small hug then picked her up setting her back in the hospital bed. "Listen... I'd rather you not reopen your wounds through trying to move too soon... Well... I really should get going..." He said and stood up. "Listen... I couldn't bare to see you get hurt again..." He said softly then walked out quietly.

She sighed as she watched him walk out again, and laid back on her bed staring at the wall. He must have just thought she was some dumb girl, he most likely already had a girlfriend. Well she hadn't really been thinking much like she wanted him, she just wouldn't have minded. She then started to feel drowsey, she glanced back at the flowers and then rested her head on her pillow. It wasn't long before the tiredness in her started to overcome her body and she fell asleep. She wasn't sure what she was dreaming about since she could never remember any of her dreams. It was strange, she could only remember her nightmares, it was like part of her was blocking out the good things. Then again she was just over thinking everything again and all the thoughts drifted to the back of her mind.

Erika blushed ofr a second when she felt his grip tighten, and even more so when he simply gazed at her and was concerned for her well being. It was not something she came across every day, in fact the only frined she had was Kel. Which Dewei hadn't met yet.

Taking a few moment she reagained her calm collect self and leaned to give him a kiss on the cheek her other hand running a finger down the side of his face as she smiled, a genuine gleam in her eyes.

"Im faring better than most, but thank you..."

It was odd for her; to say thank you and actualy mean it, it was for her to hear ones' concern. So it was new for her to actualy be, well pleasant rather than nasty and ill tempered. Perhaps Dewei brought out a side long forgotten in her.

Remebering that Dewei was injured too she suddenly started to feel upset again, her eyes flcikering to his back. She wanted to see if he was ok, if the mark wasn't too deep, if she had left a scar or not if she damaged anything...you know the usual.

Aegle clicked onto the quick change of mood within Spooks, she may not have been an empath or somethink like that, but Aegle was in-tune with emotions now as being a vampire it helpful to read them. Smiling she nodded that Spooks was and noted that perhaps it was best to ask what had happened just yet.

Taking a breath she stood tall and side stepped so that a passing stretch bed could go through the double doors, it was here she had to apologise. It wasn't difficult nor was it straining, but explaining what exactly Lamya was...well difficult. And there was no references to guardinas that take on a fomr of your hidden personality and reside within the dpeths of your mind and come out to play when they wanted to.

Scrathing the side of her dress she opened her mouth to spologise, but hushed instead as she couldn't form the words. It was going to be harc to explain. Hoefully Spooks would grasp it quick.

"Im sorry for earlier. Lamya takes control when im..hungry and then having you read my mind opened a door for her. So she took full advantage of it and im sory for the way she treated you"

Aegle gave her a little bow to show she was truly sorry, it was not how she intended to make friends.

Marcus laughed heartily as he heard her 'i do not intend to let go...' remark. He expected nothing less, if anything he liked that the fact that hse gripped around his neck, lenaing in close in for safety. He could hear her breathing, her little gasps as she watched what was going on and most of all he swore he could feel her heartbeat.

"I don't intend to let you fall nor go whilst flying. I wouldn't want to loose one so beautiful as yourself."

He didn't realise what he had just siad till it was too late, truning his head slightly he blushed and shyly looked back at her. A little hidden smile in his face, he never was one for being forward, but it was a slip of the tongue and he meant every word of it.

As he felt himself get higher, he slowed down the beat of his wings, any higher and the air would get thin and tight. As he slowed down, he came to what he called a dirft. Meaning they were still flying and moving but only a drifting pace. That way you could actualy looked around you.

Not that he was intedning to look very far, nothing cuaght his eye quite like she. Kamaria had a lovely complexion, tan with lovely soft borwn eyes and brown hiar to match. Though when first met her she was rather cold, now she was lovely and warm. Almost as if she had changed. From here he decided he was going to try and keep it that way.

<< 24 hours after incident >>

Caia woke up and the only thing she could remember was that she was in the church last and that she was dying. She then remembered Esmene and Zen, and then immeadiately shot out of her bed and once she got to the door of her room, the doctor opened it up. He looked at her with a surprised visage.
"I'm surprised you are up, Miss Utamaki. Well, you're free to go if that's what you want." Caia nodded but she did give a reply,
"Thank you, sir." She began to walk out of the room, when the doctor called back to her.
"Miss Utamaki! I have just remembered....why was your internal organs so badly damaged when your external shell was unharmed?"
Caia blushed with embarassement.
"I-I am a born empath." Caia practically whispered. The doctor looked at her curiously.
"I didn't catch that, I'm afraid." the doctor said to her.
" I'm a born empath....people's emotions were wearing my bodily organs out...I didn't expect it to nearly kill me..."
"Yes, be that as it may, you should still thank the two people who brought you here, do you know their names? They never gave them to me, so I couldn't help you if you didn't know them. It's a pity though, really, you left consciousness with your eyes open, and they didn't realize you were unconscious."
Caia looked at him and then bowed respectively.
"I will see to it, sir." Caia then left the hospital.

"A hospital must have some kind of facility to make potions in," Rille reasoned as she walked up to the door, clutching her bag of clippings. Heading towards a receptionist, she asked softly, "Excuse me. I...um...I'm a healing student, and...um...I was wondering if you had...a...uh...a place where I could make a potion here?" The receptionist smiled sweetly at her. "Yes, miss, it's just down that hallway to your right. Third door on the left, then take another left at the first door. There shouldn't be anyone in there this time of day." Rille curtsied, staring at the floor. "Th-thank you," she whispered, and fled down the right-hand hall. Counting doors, she soon arrived at a door marked "Potions 1." She entered, and found a small room with a stove and pots, and a counter with a bunch of knives, spoons, and other objects stuffed haphazardly into plastic containers. Placing her clippings on a counter, she began chopping some of the leaves into tiny pieces. Looking into a cupbord, she found the ingredients that didn't grow in the gardens, along with many others in bottles cans, and beakers. She carefully prepared each of the ingredients, and added them to a pan of boiling water. When all the ingredients were there, she stirred them carefully, boiling them until all that remained was an inch of milky liquid, flecked with green.
Rille poured the liquid into a bottle, and was about to seal it when she had an idea. Trying to convince herself it was a good idea, she said "If I don't test it now, I won't know if it works or not. If there's some emergency and I need to use it, I don't want to find out then that it's a dud. But I can't test it on anyone else...what if there's some side effect and I poison someone? I'll have to test it on...me. Now, and here, while I'm in the hospital and I can ge help." Before she could change her mind, Rille grabbed the sharpest knife from a container, and made a long cut across her palm. Shuddering, she quickly dripped three tiny drops of the potion on the cut, and watched with relief as it closed smoothly before her eyes. Smiling with glee, she said softly "It works," and walked back out of the hospital, almost skipping with her excitement.

Kamaria was still awed by the fact his wings which had seemed so frail were able to hold them both in the air. She blushed deeply as she caught the words of his reply. He was sweet. She decided for the good of there now flowering friendship she would pretend to only of caught some of the sentence. She made a note however that one day she would thank him for his comment when she was less likely to make a prat of herself in the process.

"I can't hear you..."

The blushing although deep crimson could of merely been from the prickling wind. She Looked at the ground with awe, for the first time respecting the use of wings and the fact that they allowed Marcus, and currently Kamaria to drift easily through the air...

Her brown eyes avert looking to far down to save her own fright. She rested her head back slightly on Marcus' upper chest/shoulder as the wind was beginning to buffet her about a little. She could feel him breathing and released in shock that he wasn't even the slightest bit scared. She loosened her grip on her own hands lightly, but she didnt let go meaning her arms were still wrapped around her neck, just in case she did fall...

"Thank you Marcus..."

There was something more than a thank you for flying with me in thats statement. She could of merely been thanking him for the flight or perhaps she was also thanking him for calling her beautiful. She had been told she resembled her tan skinned mother, how Kamaria had always regarded as beautiful, but she did not however see it. Her mother was tall slender with long brown hair an puppy dog eyes. Her heart was usually so cold that she knew not that she was perceived as cold beauty, and often called heartless. She was currently however proving that things change, and situations can bring the best out in people...

Dewei smiled, it was not his usual boisterous smile either. Weariness was set about under his eyes making his face look dark and thoughtful and perhaps even honest. For a moment when he smiled all that lifted and he looked truly like Dewei, no pretense no act not nothing, just Dewei, weak and venerable and yet strong...

He let go of her hand realising that he was holding it rather longer than he should of done, he looked a little bashful and forced himself to sit upright, his back cracking as it did so. He made a painful grimace but smiled at Erika showing he held no resentment for his injuries.

"Thanks for seeing that im OK, most people would of dumped me and left me to be injured..."

He meant it both sincerely and a little playfully, he was trying to prove to Erika that she was kinder than she though. he was also trying to prove she was not the cold hearted b***h she thought she was.

He spotted her eyes flickering to his back. She obviously felt bad so he decided to make light of the situation.

"Have a look if you wish, jsut dont let the nurses catch you messing with my bandages..."

He somehow said this in the still being himself mode rather than the being boisterous mode. He smiled at her truthfully once more. And he still wondered what it would feel like to truly earn on of her real smiles...

Spooks smiled openly for the first time since she had been here. She had been indeed deeply bothered by Lamya's behaviour, but fair dues Spooks had provoked the mind reading section of it.

She blushed deeply at the though of her own stupidity. Oh how Dewie had taught her to be over confident. Idiot boy, for all the times she scolded him she treasured him more than any pirate treasured there gold.

"i should of assessed the situation properly, being rash i decided it was jsut a split personality issue. i understand not what Lamya is but i understand this, you are not the same people. Or at least in my eyes..."

She bowed her head in apology to Aegle, and motioned for them to move along the corridor and out into the open. The putrid smell of disinfectant was making her feel ill, hospitals smelt of death, and death was not nice no matter how you looked at it...

A shadowed shape of a tangled distorted bird swooped into view as its squawks filled the nightmares of a young neko girl laid helplessly in a hospital bed...

Dinah sat up bolt right as the last thing she remember was the harpie swooping for her claws outstretched an aiming for her heart. she was gasping and she realised she was wearing a mask of some sort. It took a few moments for a pain to begin shooting through her body. Then memories flooded back.

She was in the hospital, she had took part in a star test. Oh what a fatal mistake it had been. She flinched in agony as her chest com-pulsed, it was still hard to breath. She began testing her limbs, first she wiggled her ears there her tail then her toes, then her fingers...

"OUCH"

Dinah meowed in an ouch sound as her right arm pulsed in pain, that had obviously been the arm that the harpie had attacked or rather the shoulder...Unable to see in the dark and unable to move her right arm, Dinah moved her left arm about looking for a light switch thing. She flinched quickly as a drip wire pulled tight on her arm threatening to pull out the thing it was attached to her arm by. Losing her temper she pulled off the oxygen mask and using her head she moved about until the light string flopped along the back of her head. Tipping her head back and using her cat fanged mouth she gripped hold of the wire and pulled her head downwards.

Almost instantly a light flickered a little before coming into full power allowing Dinah to see the full extent of her injuries. Her shoulder was bandaged all the way down to midway down her upper right arm. This bandage then continued all the way across her upper chest but not including her other shoulder and it went down to just above her waistline. a bit like a crop top with only one shoulder,* she assumed this was to hold the shoulder in its correct place. As her eyes adjusted she realised the there were straight streaks of blood on her shoulder and across the bandage on her chest, there were also three circular blood marks obvisouly from where the harpies claws had been. Obviously they had operated on her shoulder, placing the bones back and on her chest draining the blood which had formed on it...There was also a large bandage made plaster (bandage pad stuck on with medical tape) on the front and the back of her right shoulder covering the harpies other talon made wounds.

She must of been out for days, for she remembered nothing of getting here or being treated. And the bandages were at least a day old. Her nose wrinkled in disgust as she smelt for the first time the stench of the hospital, oh how it stunk of cleaning fluid. She looked about her bed, no one had visited her to no surprise. She noticed several tubes attached to her arms and she also noticed she was not wearing her clothes, she had a plain white knee length skirt on and nothing on her top half since her bandages covered everything that needed to be covered, except her waist. She wore no sling to her surprise but her arm hung limply as if any movement would dislodge the bones.

She then suddenly looked down at her own waist and thought of Sirens injuries. Siren! where was she? how was she? Oh pray to anything that she was still alive...

((previous post))

Razzer wandered into the hospital and stopped a passing nurse. "Erm, excuse me... could you possibly take a look at this?" he asked her, showing her his bleeding tentacle.

"Oh my!" the nurse exclaimed. "What were you bitten by?!"

"This furry thing about the size of a beach ball. The bugger clamped onto my leg."

The nurse looked at Razzer worriedly for a moment, and told him she'd be right back. Several minutes later, a doctor came appeared from one of the doors.

"Right this way." he said, and gestured into one of the rooms. The room was pretty well furnished for a hospital room, but this didn't surprise Razzer. Ria High did seem to make even the generically ordinary look pretty nice. The doctor got Razzer to sit on the hospital bed while he examined the bleeding tentacle.

"So you say that a 'furry thing about the size of a beach ball' bit you?" the doctor asked. Razzer nodded. The doctor, whose name (according to his nametag) was Dr. Masaharu, frowned. "That means you were bitten by a Pelzkugel." Razzer just stared. "Pelzkugels are pretty venomous. How long ago were you bitten?"

Venomous? How could that furball be venomous?! "About five minutes ago." Razzer responded. The doctor gasped. "What?" Razzer asked.

"Pelzkugel venom will incapacitate anyone in less than two minutes...." Dr. Masaharu said slowly. "But you say you were bitten five minutes ago. Why aren't you on the ground convulsing?" Razzer shrugged.

Dr. Masaharu took out a piece of paper and scribbled on it in the standard writing of a doctor - completely illegible except to other doctors. He handed the paper to Razzer. "Here, take this to the Asura Labs and give it to Fudy."

"Aren't you going to do anything about my leg?" Razzer asked. Dr. Masaharu shook his head. "If I bandage it Fudy will end up taking the bandages off, so no. Sorry."

Razzer slid off of the hospital bed and left the hospital, wondering why on earth he wasn't dead.

((continued from page 11 cool )

Max sighed at how unresponsive Fayth was. He was bored too. He wanted to do something. He wanted to find someone else to hang out with. That was it. He would find someone else. He smiled and walked out of the door slowly. He looked back at Fayth one last time to see if she was doing anything. Nope. He rolled his eyes and wandered out of the hospital. The air was crisp. It was wonderful. He decided to go to the Hot Springs to relax. And he was sure he would meet someone there

he stepped onto the grass. It smelled wonderful. He loved the smell of grass. He closed his eyes and wandered through the grounds. Then he opened them to see where he was. fortunately for him, he was close to the hotsprings. He smiled and followed the signs to the hotsprings and was at the door.
