คг๏ร tђє ๏tђєг кєy Aros had to stifle a laugh as Riku called him Sora. At the same time, he was seething. How could he be mistaken for Sora with his hood up!? He knew that the brunette reeked of light, so he pretty much reeked of the opposite: darkness. Plus, his voice was more twisted and dark than the boy’s, so how could his best friend really…? But before he could go on in his mind about it, an idea came into his head. Well, he could use this to his advantage. Too bad he didn’t look like Sora completely, or else it would be even more convincing. He’d just have to keep his hood up and hope for the best. ”Oh, of course I should be,” he sneered as Riku asked if he was mad that he was smoking. ”The funny thing is, though… I’m not.”
Aros paced slightly, in his mind going through the possible things he could say right about now. How to make Riku angry… Well, it was simple enough. He’d watched the whole thing unfold right in front of his eyes before. Riku and Naminé were so close… if he could put doubts into the silvernette’s mind… And he knew just the way to do it. He turned to face the older boy. ”It just bothers me that you’re with Naminé now…” he told him, using some of the conversations he’d heard between Sora and Kairi previously. ”It’s just not supposed to be like that. You know it’s true. If Kairi’s with me, then Naminé obviously can’t be with you. It makes things more difficult between us. And I don’t want to lose her. So smoke all you want. I really don’t care.” He crossed his arms indignantly, but under his hood he was smiling so large that it practically reached from ear to ear. What he’d said, he knew something would have to set Riku off. And then he could get a hold of some of that powerful darkness the boy had and use it for himself. ๔คгкภєรร tђгเשєร ฬเtђเภ tђє l เ g ђ t

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... As Sora and Kairi left the classroom, a very unusual scene played itself out in front of them. Now, bullying wasn’t uncommon, but the extent of what this boy did was strange. Sora glared daggers at him and had half a mind to go over and tell him to back off. Then he realized that the person being picked on was that girl that looked like Kairi. That caused him to freeze up and stop thinking for a moment. Who was she? And why did she keep showing up like this? The boy slapped the books out of her hands and stormed off. Again, he had to resist the urge to whack him a new one with his Keyblade, so he could only glower at him as he passed. ”Lowlife,” he snarled under his breath, mostly for Kairi’s benefit. Then he looked back to the other girl, who was bent over picking up her books, and starting to cry. Oh, dear…
An internal conflict began in Sora’s head. They had roughly seven minutes to get to their next class. That meant there was enough time to go through the courtyard to see if Riku, Naminé, and Roxas were there. But if they did that, then there’d be no time to help this girl. He sighed heavily and checked in with Roxas silently to find there were no new emotions being transferred. Things had to be relatively calm then. So that meant he could help. He gave Kairi’s arm a slight tug. ”Come on, let’s go help her out,” he told her, pulling her along. In the back of his mind, he hoped he could figure out what it was that bothered him about this girl if he got close enough and talked to her. When they reached her, he let go of Kairi’s hand and kneeled down to start picking up papers. ”Are you okay?” he asked her, keeping his eyes on her as he picked up pages and books. There was just… something that struck him as off about her. But what was it? It was driving him crazy. Maybe Kairi would be able to come up with something. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Yes! It had worked. Rikia kept her eyes lowered on the ground, kept the ridculous tears still falling down her face yet she could both hear and sense Sora as he walked over to her. Rikia bowed her head so itt was hidden from sight and she smiled briefly before her face fell into the mask of embarressment, fear, and shock. The girl had managed to grab the first few papers and a notebook and drew them towards her and then suddenly Sora was there, bent down on the ground in front of her and helping her pick up her things. Rikia's expression melted perfectly into surprise as she stopped and looked up at him, tears causing her amber eyes to sparkle.
He asked if she was okay and she nodded briefly, opening her mouth to speak but closing it again as though she didn't trust her voice. After a moment she spoke quietly, her voice like Kairi's but not in the way that it was more muiscal and enchanting than the crimsonette's. "T-thank you. That boy... he..." She paused, and looked embaressed, looking away from Sora and letting her eyes slide to the ground. "He use to be my boyfriend. He's mad at me for ending things and he picks on me every chance he gets." Rikia had stopped crying but her voice hitched perfectly at the end and she looked like she was about to burst into tears again.
In silence, she gathered the papers nearest her, sorting them by class before sticking them into one of her notebooks and then scooting over to gather more. She had to draw this out until the bell rang, give Aros some time. Rikia paused and looked up at Sora, giving him a weak, watery smile, easily managing to keep her fangs hidden from sight. "Thank you for helping me." She said quietly. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Rikia." Why give a false name? By tonight, none of it would matter. But tonight, Sora would know the truth about her and he wouldn't think her so weak as he probably did now.

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.Kairi watched Sora think for a moment about her suggestion of them doing their homework together. When he replied he sounded doubtful, saying he didn't know how much work he'd get done. The crimsonette's heart sank a little when she heard his doubt, but understood. However, her boyfriend then laughed and said that he was sure he'd get more done with her helping him out, so he agreed. The Princess smiled brightly when she heard that and felt Sora slip his hand back under the table and held hers. "Okay, great!" Kairi replied happily. After Sora had asked his question about Naminé and Kairi had answered, he then told her to let him know if anything changed. "Mmm," the red head nodded, "I will." Once that was settled, the two focused back on the lesson. It felt like longer than it should have been, but the period finally ended and the bell rang. The Princess placed her books in her bag, which she then swung around her shoulder. The Keybearer took her hand again and began leading her out of the classroom. They both had gym next, so the couple were able to walk together. Lakayna and Axel were in that class with them as well, and Kairi was excited to talk to them about the ball. As they walked, the crimsonette hoped to find Naminé, Roxas, and Riku and make sure they were okay. Her thoughts of her friends were distracted though as an incident arose in the hall before them. The new girl who had just been in class with them, the one who looked like Kairi and told the teacher her name was Rikia if Kairi recalled correctly, bumped into a boy by mistake. She apologized, but the boy grabbed her and slammed her against the lockers shouting sorry wasn't good enough. "What's with his nasty attitude?" the red head muttered as she glared at the boy. The boy then slapped Rikia's books out of her hands, sending papers flying in all directions, then stormed away. As he did so, the Princess heard Sora snarl "Lowlife" under his breath. He got that right. The Princess watched sadly as the tealnette slid down to sit on the ground with a shocked and frightened expression, and saw tears beginning to fall. Sora pulled his girlfriend along, telling her they should go help Rikia out. "Right," she nodded. When they reached the new girl the pair bent down and began collecting papers and books. The brunette asked Rikia if she was alright, and the tealnette nodded. Kairi was glad to see that she had stopped crying. After a moment she thanked Sora, and explained that the boy earlier was her ex-boyfriend and picked on her every chance he got. "What a jerk," the Princess frowned as she handed Rikia the papers she had gathered, "If he's always had that kind of behavior, I can see why you ended things." Kairi then turned to pick up more lose pages. As she retrieved the rest of the papers she heard Rikia thank Sora again and introduce herself. The red head picked up the last book and walked over to the tealnette. "That should be everything," the crimsonette smiled as she returned her things, "It's nice to meet you Rikia. I'm Kairi."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Xia Xia walked down the hall, not talking to anyone, not horse-playing or trying to drag the few minutes it took to get from one class to the other out longer, but simply walking to class. She glanced at her brand-new schedule, and saw that her next period was gym. She had a feeling, call it intuition, that she wasn't going o like gym. She walked past a couple, one brunette boy and one crimson-haired girl helping a tealette gather books and papers- the crimsonette was talking to her, sympathizing with her, from the sound of it. Xia lingered for a moment as she passed, but as a second ticked by she was moving again. Why would I stop? She wondered. That's not the logical thing to do. Almost angry with herself, she walked faster now. There was a class she had to go to, even if it sounded... ominous. A Light From The Darkness ((Anyone know font coding that works?))

She'd been right. By the end of second period, Lakayna had lost her nerve to skip. It was kind of cliche if one thought about it. The lavendernette could handle killing heartless and even dealing with being in her dragon form just fine, but getting in trouble at school scared her a lot. Well, not just that. She didn't want to face her father's anger if he found out about her getting into trouble. Now THAT is what really scared Lakayna. The lavendernette walked to the girl's locker room alone. She expected to see Kairi there as she stowed her things in her gym locker and changed into the gym outfit, but the crimsonette was nowhere to be seen. Lakayna did notice an umfamiliar face walk into the locker room though, a look on her face that said she was going to dread being if gym. Lakayna herself never saw what the big deal about gym was. It was something she enjoyed, most of the time. They were told that Gym class was being held outside today, because the gymnasium had been decorated for the dance tonight and the teachers didn't want it to get ruined. (edited)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora tried to keep his eyes on the papers he was picking up as the girl spoke, but something about her voice seemed to force him to look at her. Her tone was so much like Kairi’s, but at the same time entirely different. It was eerie how much the two had in common physically, though he’d never seen her before in his life, and it seemed Kairi hadn’t either. She explained that the boy had been her ex-boyfriend and she’d broken off their relationship, so now he picked on her. His brow furrowed slightly at this. The guy was more of a lowlife than he’d thought previously. Kairi was next to him then, helping with the gathering of papers and sympathizing with the tealnette. ”Well, if you ever have any other problems with him, let us know,” he told her. ”Jerks like that need to be stopped.” He smirked slightly at Kairi. He knew that, back in the days before the Keyblade and the Heartless, whenever they’d had a problem with a bully, Riku had always been there to rough them up. Surely that hadn’t changed.
The three finished cleaning up the papers and books, so Sora straightened up and handed them to the girl, who thanked him again and told him that her name was Rikia. He nodded brightly and offered a hand, then retracted it realizing she didn’t have a free hand to shake. ”It’s nothing, really,” he told her, rubbing the back of his head. ”I’m Sora.” Kairi introduced herself as well. Distractedly, the brunette looked up at the clock to see that it was getting nearer to the bell. They only had about four minutes now. He swallowed, wondering if they had enough time to get through the courtyard and to the gym, or rather, the schoolyard. The gym was being prepared for the dance today. He figured it didn’t matter if they were a little late, since the gym teacher gave them five extra minutes to change in the nearby locker rooms anyway, and it never took him or Kairi that long to do that. ”Well, we gotta go,” he told Rikia, taking Kairi’s hand again. ”Hope to see you around.” He gave her a quick grin before starting to pull Kairi away. He quickened his pace, really anxious now to see what was going on between his Nobody, his girlfriend’s Nobody, and his best friend. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Xia Xia walked into the locker room, and quickly changed into the ugly, ill-fitting gym outfit. It was drab and gray, and she hated it. It made her feel drab and gray on the inside, too. But she kept only a look of mild distaste on her face as she changed, and had wiped that away by the time she was supposed to be out in the gym, playing some idiotic game involving throwing large red balls at one another. Some people were getting into it, throwing as hard as they could, and other sulked along back walls. At least the back of the gym seemed safe.... A Light From The Darkness

Riku Mr. Gorgeous "Dark One" The silvernette's eyes began glaring at the boy. This was not Sora. It felt like Sora but this was not his best friend. His eyes widened some when the look-alike mentioned Naminé and how it bothered him. He reached up and took the cigarette from his mouth, blowing out smoke and letting the f** drop the the ground. He hated how "Sora" was talking now and it was clear that this wasn't the Keyblade Master. Even if Sora did feel this way, he couldn't and wouldn't be so blunt and harsh about it. Riku crsuhed the cigarettte under his shoe, grinding it into the ground and looked up at him. "So who the hell are you suppose to be?" he snarled.
Yes, he was pissed. For one, someone else was running around with Sora face. He could stand Roxas - or would learned to for now - and Roxas could control darkness even though his "heart" was so light. But this guy, darkness was pouring off him and that was clearly apparent now. And second, he dared to mention Naminé. If this person was apart of Sora in some crazy way, could those really be Sora's true feelings? That thought just pissed him off a little more. It wasn't Sora's say of who Riku was with. "Should I just kill you now? Or wait for the crazy, monologue explanation?" Riku growled after a few silent, thoughtful seconds.

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.Kairi nodded in agreement when Sora told Rikia that if she ever had any other problems with her ex-boyfriend to let them know. The brunette was right, jerks like that need to be stopped. The crimsonette then saw the Keyblade Master give her a slight smirk, which she returned with a small amused smile. The Princess knew he must have been thing about the past. Back then, if they were ever being picked on, Riku was right there to rough up the bullies. Kairi was sure that the silvernette would still do that now, if need be. The red head listened as Sora introduced himself, and then saw him look up at the clock. She had momentarily forgotten that they had been on their way to their next class, and that she had wanted to see how the two blondes and Riku were doing. She looked up at the clock as well and saw that they only had four minutes. If they hurried they could still make it in time. The Princess felt Sora take her hand again as he told Rikia that they had to go. He said he hoped to see the tealnette, around and her a quick grin. "It was nice meeting you. Bye!" the crimsonette smiled and waved as the Keybearer began pulling her away. Sora quickened his pace and Kairi hurriedly did the same to match his, her crimson hair trailing behind her. They were cutting it close, but the red head figured they'd be okay. The gym teacher gave the students some extra time to change before starting class, and she and Sora had always been quick at doing that. Plus they were having class outside today, since the gym was being decorated for the ball later that night, so they wouldn't have to walk as far. As the couple hurried along, Kairi looked up at her boyfriend and stated, "I hope everything is okay with those three. I haven't felt or heard anything from Naminé in a while. Have you gotten anything from Roxas?" We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Her first two classes came and went, and now it was time for Biology. Gathering her stuff, she picked up her shoulder backpack and left the classroom, hoping to find Alexander as they went to Biology. She's been having a weird feeling lately, like something was wrong. Ever since she had lost her dark powers in the Land of Dragons, her senses have dulled significantly. Now what used to be a sharp ability to detect beings of darkness was nothing more than intuition. She hesitated on trying to find out what it was. How would she be able to fight whatever was here without a weapon? She no longer had a keyblade and she hasn't had time to buy a weapon of some sort. She could only sigh and shuffle her feet towards the science class, still wondering about Alexander. Finally! Gym class! Axel all but roared in relief as they two periods finally ended and it was now time to go to Gym, where Lakayna and a few other of his friends were going to be. Tossing his books in his backpack, he slung it over his shoulder and walked briskly to his next class, though not before being nearly plowed over by a speeding blonde. "Hey Roxas!" he yelled, but the Nobody ignored him as he continued to run in the opposite direction. With a shrug, he returned from his look of shock and continued to Gym, walking into the locker to change his clothes and returned outside to see Lakayna. "Hey," he greeted, coming up to her. "Seen anyone else around yet?" he asked, looking around for a moment.Roxas's mind was blank from utter shock. And then Namine told Riku that she had to explain, like Roxas was some kind of child. But the last thing she said to the silvernette was what hit him worst. After all...I can't stand being away from you any longer. He took a step away from the witch as she approached. Sora...she....she chose him. Namine chose Riku. he told his Other through their link. Still Namine spoke to him as though he were some idiot child. She might as well have said, 'I don't want to be with you, but we can still be friends. I just don't think you're good enough for me.'. He shook his head and backed away further. He couldn't stand looking at her. "No, I can't," he just managed to gasp and turned, running in the opposite direction. He knew that if he stayed there any longer, he would just become angry and try to kill Riku.
Roxas wanted to keep running. He didn't want to stop and be able to think. As he pushed Axel aside he kept going. He just needed to leave this school, anything to distance himself from the two that just about killed him. "Why....why him?" he asked the air as he ran, finally stopping some distance out of the school. He rubbed his watering eyes with his forearm, suddenly hearing a voice answer him, looking around to see a figure in an Organization XIII coat.

The figure appeared out of a dark portal just outside the school. Today was Christmas Eve and there was to be a dance at the facility. The woman's lips curled up into a smile. With the help of Rikia, they were to cause mayhem and chaos that would rival even her Master's. She then turned her head when she saw someone running out of the school, who seemed to be none other than the Keyblade Master's Nobody. Perfect. she thought to herself. When he asked his question, she couldn't help but answer. "Isn't it obvious?" she asked, making him turn her way. "She is attracted to him because he has a heart. How could someone love another who doesn't have a heart?" she asked. Roxas looked down. "But don't fret. I can help," she promised, approaching the boy. "If you join me, I can help get her to love you. I can give you your own heart," she told him. Roxas looked up and questioned her about the heart. "But I'm tied to Sora," he protested, but the girl shook her head. "A minor technicality. Which would you prefer, to have your own heart and be your own person so you can be strong enough for Namine? Or stay being the Nobody you are, forever sentenced to being in Sora's shadow?" she asked. Roxas sighed and lowered his head. He wanted to be with Namine more than anything. "What do I do?" he asked. The woman smiled and placed her hands on his shoulders, making him look up at her. "Look into my eyes," she said softly, kicking up her own power. "You will sever your link with your Somebody. You will return to school and tell the Nobody witch you accept her decision. You will ask the Puppet to the dance and go to wait for me there," she said in a hypnotic voice. Roxas looked up, his eyes wide as he went into the trance. "I... will cut off my link with Sora," he repeated, severing the link just as he said it. "I will speak to Namine and ask Xion to the dance. When I get there I will wait for you," he told her. The woman smiled. "Good. Now wake up."Roxas suddenly blinked and shook his head, seeing that there was nothing there. With a sigh, he looked back at the school. "If it makes her happy, I guess I should be glad for her," he decided, going back towards the school. It was a few minutes after when the figure appeared near Rikia after Sora and Kairi left her in the hall, her hood up to conceal her face. "The pieces are set. Do they suspect anything?" she asked Rikia, referring to Sora and Kairi. Soon their plans would come to fruition.

Xion sighed. She was late for school. As she walked at the buidling Roxas flew by her towards the beach. She called after him but he didn't stop. She stared after him, wondering if she should go after him but decided not to. Xion and Roxas weren't as close as the once were, not since she had joined him and then Sora. No, he had forgotten about her, along with Axel. The Puppet sighed and marched off to sit in the cafeteria. Classes were abou to change and so it would be pointless to go to her class. She'd wait until the bell rang and then move on to her next period.

OletteThe brunette walked around looking at her placement card. "So Gym is up next? Hmm yeah over there," Olette said to herself walking toward the right direction. "Wonder what my classmates will be like?" she asked herself. She turned to the girls locker rooms. "I hope they have heard of Struggle!" She entered the locker room, and saw a lavendernette girl there. Olette looked nervous but smiled at the girl. "Hello I'm Olette, I just moved to Destiny Islands from Twilight Town. I'm glad there's a beach here too!" she said introducing herself a little too fast. She then noticed another girl behind her with sliver hair, and said hello to her as well. Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Roxas had... he'd run away from her. As though she were some kind of monster. The Memory Witch stood still, stunned and staring at the spot where her best friend had vanished. He... hated her now. He had to. She'd clearly seen the look on his face. How much she'd hurt him. "I am a monster..." The petite blonde said, one hand coming up and clutching the material of her shirt, grasping it tightly and placed over her chest where her heart should be. Where the pain was. Tears pricked her eyes again, her happiness about being reunited with Riku almost overshadowed due to the pain she'd caused her best friend.
Unable to either run after Roxas, or to walk back to Riku, her legs trembled and so she folded herself upon the ground, sitting down and staring at the ground beneath her. The bell had rung, signifying the end of second period and now it rang again, meaning third was just starting. She'd had no idea how much time she'd actually spent outside with Riku until now. Dazed, she knew she had to go to class but she couldn't go like the mess she was now. And she was happy Riku had given them privacy. He wouldn't see her falling to pieces again as one thought ran through her mind.
'I've lost my best friend... He's hurt... and it's all my fault.'
