 Stary didn't like to be mean. It wasn't like her and she didn't know why she was being an a**..... she sighed as closed her eyes. She would give anything to go back to her home in the forest. She missed her animals... espicaly her black horse midnight.... but it seemed like she would never see him again. "Don't take it the wrong way sir.... I didn't mean to be mean... i just can't stand my positon as it is now...." She said, leaning against her cages bars.

 "Well..." the demon breathed, still trying to catch up on his oxygen intake, he referred to the girl "That is something you shall have to learn to cope with, and be more respectful. Outside of these walls, I may have killed you for being so impolite." But he said all of this without menace, as if reading a statistic off a textbook page. Then he turned to the shop keeper and waved his hand "Thank you very much, sir, but it's passed now. I've felt much worse. If you could please release Persephone as well, that will be all, thank you." It was true, the pain was receding now, and his normal composure was regained. He stood up again and walked back to Meredith's cage. He knelt down, carefully scooping up the young demon in his arms, holding him close to his chest so as not to drop him, and walked back out again.

Stary wanted to say something smart to him but kept her mouth shut. "Trust me your lord..... If I was outside of here.... I wouldn't be like this.... how would you like it if your powers that you have lived with where block from you, taken from your home and your family?...... to me... I see I disrespected you and I apoligize for being rude..... but how would you feel if you where in my spot instead?" She said as she closed her eyes as she heard him lift Meredith. "Please take good care of him." She said, not looking at him.

Persephone felt chill. He'd have killed that girl for rudeness? What have I gotten myself into? She sighed. No looking back, take what you gotten. She thought bitterly. She stood at the entrance of her cage, "Jade, I left you a gift." She said to the girl, remembering the crown of flowers she'd put into her neighbor's cage. With that said she waited for the owner to let her out.

The devil looked down at the girl, eyes narrow, and now slitted like a cats. She was almost beginning to get on his nerves. He did not turn to face her, but still spoke nontheless.
"Again, you speak like the foolish child you are." The devil said "If my powers were gone, I would find where my other strengths lie. If I were made a slave, I would either find a way to escape, or accept that I couldn't and act like one. And if I was suddenly and violently taken away from my home and my family..." at this point he turned his head to look at her fully, so that she would understand the weight of these words "I would give thanks to the ones who did it to me." He was still cradeling Meredith in his arms as he lectured her.
"Oh, and next time you want to ma e a request of someone, I suggest you flatter them, not insult them." he said with a grin.

 "Stary! That is enough!" Jay growled as he approtched Persephone's cage. He opened the door and looked down at her. "I hope you have a good life.." he said softly and helped her out and lead her over to her new master.

Stary smirked. She didn't know where this side of her came but she suld liked it right now. "Why should I flatter someone?.... whats the point...... In your point with your family, I can't agree with you..... I have only my animals as my family and I liked it that way..... my other strengths I'll give you that...... and as for wither I accept the fact or not doesn't mean anything to me.... I was taken when helping a centor......." She said, her voice give off a hard edge to it. " and as for your request....." She turned her head and opened her eyes to give him a good hard look. "Why would I try to go with someone..... when I already have a place to go to..... I don't need a master.... I need to wild...." Shakeing her head, she sighed as she gave up. Who cared..... she felt alone either way..... "And if you so don't mind..... why don't you just leave and care for Meredith..... " She said his name with kindness.... since he asked and made sure she was alright as well. "I wouldn't want him to get sick again..... just at lest do that..... please...." She shut up when the owner said that it was enough... she didn't know what came over her... she never acted this way and she woundered why now... She decided that she might as well sleep.... maybe that would help her.....

"Thank you." Erebus said to Jay, motioning for Persephone to come to him. He didn't seem to hear Stary's ranting, and spoke his thanks to Jay as she was talking. After he decided that he had all he needed, he waved a hand absently in Stary's direction. "I have no desire to listen to the rantings of a fool. Persephone, come along now. I can't stop you if you try and run away, since my arms are full, but you'll be a good girl for me, right?" He smiled at Persephone, in a way that was surprisingly warm, not the hard grins he'd given her before. "Let's head home, shall we? I'm sure my brother has ripped X's arms off by now."

Persephone walked with Jay to the devil, "So do I..." She said quietly before reaching him. She kept her chin up, not showing fear or doubt. She glanced back at her old cage, "Hope the next person to get that one likes the flowers and moss." She said good naturedly. It was proof that she could make a home anywhere, so long as she had her powers. At her devil's words she nodded and followed him out of the shop, not looking back.

Stary got up and went to the pillows that where layed together as she layed down on them, curling into a ball. Closing her eyes, she went to sleep as she dreamed of her old life. She knew that the man was right.... she was a slave now and she just had to deal with it..... but it would take time.... since she was so use to her freedom. "Midnight....." She whispered before falling into a deep sleep.

 "I'm not asking you to flatter anyone!" Jay said walking over to Stary and looked down at her. "All I ask is that you be some what respectful..." Jay said softly and sighed.Artemis sat in her cage and watched the swap. She couldn't help but smile watching the girl look so funny. She looked worried and scared. Artemis smiled and gently drumbed her nails on her silver collar.(There is no limit. if you can manage them all you can have as many as you want but we need masters.)

Stary didn't answer him as she had her back to him. She just wanted to be alone for awhile. A good sleep would help to calm her down and help her cope with how her life had changed so fast. Curling herself into a tight ball she blocked out the rest as she thought a dreamless sleep.

Anata ni ochiru tsumetai ame wo kagiwakete "Hm... I wonder if I will finally find myself a cute pet...?" Roosevelt murmured quietly as he walked inside the shop, examining several cages as he walked around. His body stood tall and proud as if he were not afraid of anything that any of the slaves could possibly do. He didn't really notice any interesting ones yet so he decided to just walk around and watch them for any signs of movement or chatter.
