Mephlius paused a second, taken aback by the long kiss. "I'll take that as... you're happy to see me?" He smiled, then began answering her quetions. "In order... I was fine. They were fine. Just peachy. Not at all. I don't know exactly where... Somewhere in the Illinois area. Yes I found them. My dad looks kind of like me, but with different eyes and a different nose. My mom has my eyes and nose, but nothing else like me."

Amnity was beating herself up inside, but paused for a second to listen to what happened. A bright smile came to her face. "Wow, I'm so happy for you! Mind if I ask a few more questions?" Before Mephlius even got the chance to respond, she began shooting more questions at him. "What did your parents say about your job? What happened while you were there? Did you find out more about yourself? Relatives? Real name? etc?...and finally.." The hunter gave him an arrogant smile, tilting her head to the side a bit. "Did you miss me?"

"It was horrible there without you, Am. That's why I came back early..." He smiled. "But it was almost worth it. I found out a lot about myself. It turns out... I wasn't just 'lost'. After my Mom had me, they decided that they would have to go live with the Lycans. But they didn't want to bring me with them... they couldn't bare to watch me be raised to kill humans. They decided intead to give me to my father's brother, a hunter. They raised me as their own, to raise me to be a hunter. I always thought I was just raised by strangers... but actually I was raised by my uncle and aunt! So, when I told my parents I was a hunter, I expected to be chased out with a pitchfork. Instead, the news was met with joy." He said, leaving out the other thing he talked about on purpose.

Amnity smiled and gave him a quick hug. "That's great! Who would have known that the people that raised you were actually your relatives!" She was also relieved. She was worrying about what would have happened if he told his parents that he was a hunter, now there really was nothing to worry about....Except for one thing. Amnity pulled away, blushing a bit. She looked at the ground, poking at a clump of dirt with the tip of her shoe. "..S-So...What did your parents...What did they say about me?.."

He walked back into the infermary,grabbing a few packets of blood,as he drank one of them the deep claw marks on his arm began to heal and the muscles and ligaments in his shoulder repaired themselves,popping his shoulder back into place.He drank a second packet of blood to re-new his strength and stuck a third in his pocket for later.After he was satified with how well his injuries healed he left.

Kuro followed Amnity out, being carefully watched by a nurse still in the infirmary. "Sorry Am, I had to explain- oh, hey Meph, glad to have you back." He walked closer to them, a wide smile on his face. "I`m guessing everything went according to plan; you didn`t get attacked by anything bigger than you, right?"

"Yeah. Nothing bad happened." He smiled, lying. He decided it was... unnecessary... to share all the details of his trip. The important thing was that he was fine.

"The last time we went hunting was just about week ago. We decided to go hunting as part of our date, but then we both got shot and ended up here in the Infirmary." He closed his eyes, remembering what had happened. He ran back through the way Alasdair had aimed his gun at Am. He remembered how he threw her aside, and how the three bullets had hit him after that. Then he changed to happier thoughts, as he remebered the time after that, when they made shadow puppets in the 'Vacation House'. He opened his eyes, and got back to the topic. "Sure, I'd love to come hunting."

"Wait, Mephlius!" Amnity called out too him, but he was already too far away to hear her voice. There were so many things she didn't get to ask him yet, and he was acting a bit mysterious again. She watched as he walked away and folded her arms over her stomach, looking a bit depressed.
"So Kuro, where do you want to go hunting first?" The hunter asked, a weak smile on her face.
